A police officer runs up to Arcanum and points up at the towers.
"I vote for making sure that thing doesn't squash anyone!" he says, as the craft slowly descends under the guidance of the winged Eagleman, "Or if you can do something with fires," he waves up at the towers, where you can see the flicker of flames from the more westward tower, where something in the still-flaming vehicle must have ignited part of the building.

Status: Normal

Streetside continues to hear the creaking and bustle of something happening outside, his determination for getting to the roof and assisting drives him to continue. The stairs continue to buckle under his feet but he ignores it, for now.
Going to continue to use Athletics. Athletics: 1D20+15 = [4]+15 = 19


Yeah, Streetside is a low mobility hero and I knew that going in. I wouldn't change anything haha. As for the getting to the top without anyone there, that is totally ok.

Arcanum rushes up to the building, coughing as smoke blinds his sight, but not enough for him to see the flames in the building. He begins to draw sigils in the air, pulling the heat away from the flames and channeling the energy into a blast, trying to hold it in to aim it somewhere else where it wont hurt anyone

Eagleman's wings fight hard against the wind. He can sense that his strength will give out soon. Mercifully, he finally feels the ground beneath his feet. Looking around for a clear space, Eagleman sets the mangled plane down.

Strength: 1D20+8-2 = [20]+8-2 = 26


[That beats the DC 20 you assigned. Nat 20. Maybe I repaired it on the way down! LOL]

Effortlessly, Eagleman lets the plane touch the ground. Eagleman calls out again, "Martian Man, are you okay?"

Hearing no reply from Martian Man, Eagleman enters the craft to check what is happening. He sees weapons aimed at Martian Man and another individual. "Are you keeping all the fun to yourself?" Eagleman quips as he draws his Mace.

"You're just in time!" He says to Eagle Man. "Protect the other man in a net! They want something with him. I'll see to the others!"

Martian Man and Eagleman

The figures in armor stumble slightly as the plane is set down, and Eagleman flies in while Martian Man continued to struggle in the netting.
"Now there's two of them!" the man with the blaze on his armor yells unnecessarily narrating the situation, and points his gun at Eagleman, firing once with a bright flash of light that winds up doing little but briefly illuminate part of the ship as Eagleman ducks aside.
"Take down the winged guy while I get the target out," he orders, and dashes past the dodging Eagleman.

Three of the remaining figures aim for Eagleman while one points down at Martian Man, and fires at the trapped hero with a searing beam.
"I'll take care of this one before he causes more trouble," he says, hosing Martian Man down with radiant energy as the other two again attempt a bracket with their net guns against Eagleman but fail, as the third actually manages to tag the hero.

One of the guys will attempt to set Eagleman up for the net with an assist roll of 19, which gives a +2. 13 (2 added for the assist that I forgot about) will miss. The remaining two will fire their Heat Beams at Eagleman and Martian Man respectively.
23 and 12 means Eagleman has a DC 25 Toughness save to make while Martian Man has a DC 30 check due to the Sky Pirate choosing to roll to attack a Defenseless Target and succeeding, giving the same +5 as a Critical Hit.

As Streetwise finally makes his way to the tenth floor, he emerges from the stairwell to see... a large gap on the wall where the plane had gouged into the building, but no plane. However, the area where the plane had been is currently smouldering with a growing fire...

Shortly after Eagleman sets the vehicle down and rushes in, he hears a sound of energy discharge, and a man in armor carrying a man wrapped in a net suddenly flies out of the flames, and hovers for a moment before staring down at Arcanum.
"God damn it... there's more of you?" he says, and glances up at the skies before looking down at the vehicle.

"Well, guess that takes care of that," he mutters, as he begins to raise his gun one-handed at Arcanum...

The blast caught him anyway. Eaglman felt the Heat Beam's effect on him.

Arcanum crouches, ready to channel energy at a moments notice to deal with any threats. In any case, this man doesn't seem very friendly to their cause. Arcane runes surround him as he stares at the men, trying to learn their small little details to learn who they are.

Streetside frowns at the distinct lack of a flying vessel. He had run those stairs to help but cam up short. He briefly looks down the side of the building before shifting his focus to the building fire. From what he knows of the medical center, there should be some extinguishers nearby and since he is up here...

He runs to grab one and begins to do his best to reduce the flames or chance there of.

Eagleman winced as the heat blast grazed him. He could feel his enhanced metabolism already at work healing the damage. "It will more than a simple blast to stop me!"

You recognize the armored figures as a likely member of the Skypirates, one of a handful of groups combining power armor with aerial piracy (it's actually surprising how many of those there are), with the blaze on his chest likely indicating some level of leadership. The one he's holding, the leather skirt reminiscent of Roman armor is a characteristic of Atlanteans. You remember there had been talk on the news about some diplomatic meeting going on with them. Nothing major, as you recall, so not exactly front page news.
