How you feeling Kenma? Same to Pathfinder if they're about.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

Re: [OOC] [3e] Superheroics Unlimited - The MMVR
I'm back! And now getting caught up and coming up with a post. But seeing as some of the scene has already progressed, should we have it as Warlock just arrives late and stuff?
Also, I still need to update my character sheet with the 2-points we earned, and will let you know once I've settled on what to do with 'em. I've had ideas for 1 of the points, but I'm not sure what I want to do with the other just yet.

A Warlock is never late, nor is he early.

Oh yes, are any of the bad guys in the bank in a position where Exemplar could possibly have a rummage through their brains for information?

With recent expereince garnered as The Mind over in Geneforged, it seems that mental awareness needs to penetrate concealment for things like that to work out. Remote sensing allows for your awareness to work, but I don't believe you can scry and do mind reading at the same time.

She cannot. So, OK, no joy on that front. Thanks!

When our cop friend is talking about 'insurance' what exactly does he mean here? Is there something supers are meant to take out to cover damage etc. that might occur due to their actions?

Re: [OOC] [3e] Superheroics Unlimited - The MMVR
Most damages are covered by the over-arcing superhero network, but excessive destruction tends to result in fees. Some player-made companies seek to exploit that with insurance schemes. For the Officer, what he's saying is more of a joke implying "do your best to clean up your mess".

So, how do we want to go about getting in to the bank?

Do we have or can we get any info on what the top of the bank is like or what's underneath it?
That is, how practical would entrance from the roof or through the sewers be?

I just realize I still have not spent my PP. I should probably do that....
As for approaches, RS doesn't have a lot to offer. she can do shock and awe.... she does have illusions, so she could cover our approach by placing an illusion inside the bank to hide our approach and make them think only the cops are outside. (Really she should have done this already. Forgot it was a thing she had)

No basement level here, no conveniently sized and spaced sewer lines either. At least, not for this specific bank. The roof would have a door you could potentially use, if you guys wanted to avoid teleworking inside dirrectly.Tony Jones wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 9:39 am Do we have or can we get any info on what the top of the bank is like or what's underneath it?

This was part of what I hoping to get from the cops as well.Doctor Malsyn wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 4:47 pmNo basement level here, no conveniently sized and spaced sewer lines either. I figured banks/important places would have tech or magic protections against teleportation (and scrying) but I also figured there'd be passwords or passcodes that the authorities and administration would have to let emergency services people bypass those in emergency situations. (I know, we did this to ourselves, but it just made so much sense that the alter-ego, Dana, a security consultant, would have remarked it.)
If porting into the bank is an option then the AnySpell magic of Warlock can open a simple portal going 60 feet (I think), enough to get us into the backrooms.
Re: [OOC] [3e] Superheroics Unlimited - The MMVR
If there ARE protections and we CAN'T get the passcodes, Operative is proposing she can Jury rig a group teleport that combines dimension shifting into cyberspace in order to get in though the phone lines (something they can't block) and into the bank that way.
