That's for me to know and you to worry about for months to come. ;)

Naratively, you guys have one more chance to get something out of this guy right now if you'd like to take it.

Anyone else can ask something. I think I'm out of ideas.

So there is no way to tell who is an avatar and who is an NPC?

You can usually only gather that from context clues when fully immersed, such as Absinthe's strange name. In the Lobby you can look up other players and send friend requests or the like.

Exemplar, Warlock, and potencially Hellcat if Pathfinder is back with us soon.

Probably safe to say Hellcat might try to get far away and take as many nearby folks as possible. If Pathfinder isn't back yet that is.

...If gravity doesn't do the trick, I'm hoping Exemplar can help with shoving Absinthe through the rift.

Also, I still haven't decided on where that dimensional-portal is going yet, so I'm taking suggestions on that. Because sure, Warlock would have probably picked something fitting for this, but I, OOC, don't actually know where Warlock IC would send Absinthe in cases like this.

My logic is that traversing dimensions would (probably? guessing here) require instantiation of the virtual environment (if it wasn't already in use in that immediate destination-area) and then transmission of data from the originating virtual environment to the destination environment. And in that transmission, the bug that's causing Absinthe's problems might trigger a safeguard condition when copying from one environment to another, causing the game-engine to reset Absinthe to a prior state. Or just cause Absinthe to get rewound to a previous instance of the character as the new-environment gets booted up. Or just force a log-out when Absinthe fails to "load" into the new environment properly. Or... something, I dunno, we're all improvising here.

With whatever the fuck is going on in local gamespace right now, that portal could go in wildly different places than what Warlock had in mind.

Honestly the way you guys are acting on this is kinda perfect, loving it thus far. You've somehow all done exactly the type of things I wanted you to do like good little minions- I mean, free thinking players with their own wills and ambitions. :D

Exemplar is concentrating more on saving the civilians than shoving Absinthe anywhere right now. Not sure her power would work through Operative's force fields in any case; it isn't indirect (though I suppose I could have power stunted that), and she wouldn't want to break them herself...

I could work around it using Hellcat to get the final job done, with exemplar trying to take care of the civilians instead. I notice Pathfinder hasn't been on since the 11th, which means I probably shouldn't expect a sudden return at the last hour here.

Wooo, we're done with the first adventure! Took us a little while to get there. Sorry if things seemed scripted towards the end, there were a few things I kind of needed to have happen in order to advance the meta-plot. Next adventures should be more freedom oriented for you guys, as we get into the groove of things after your PCs have had time to recover.

Do any of you have thoughts you wanna add, questions to be asked, complaints to levy? I'm all ears.

That actually works out pretty well- I had been toying with the idea of Hellcat's player being forcibly booted from the system (for mysterious reasons) as a possible explanation for my (longer than expected) absence.

Things still not good, but improving. possible target for soft return this weekend (if I didn't just jinx myself.

Tl; dr:
Spoiler
FiL moved into long-term care, since he won't really ever be coming home, but at least there is some stability. Other things still a bit of a mess.
