Rivalry: Wolverine and Cyclops love the same woman.

This is a smaller and more agile version of Wolverine rather than taller and more handsome version. He has still peak human strength though. He is one of the guys who could give big guys a fight but unlikely to win. He is a very competent combatant but not really good at defending himself because he doesn't need to. Thor and Hulk are able to hit him regularly, he shouldn't have Cap level defense. His adamantium skeleton makes him more resistant to bludgeoning attacks like fists and sometimes prevent critical hits by protecting the internal organs.

I'm not sure about his regeneration level. Below rank 10 is unacceptable for me, he is the guy who made regen a popular power in the first place and able to heal very fast. But I didn't playtest this. 14-15 ranks of regeneration might make it impossible for guys like Spiderman and Captain America to challenge him and maybe give even world shakers a hard time.

Secret Identity: Peter Parker has to keep his identity a secret in order to protect his loved ones.

Spiderman is a good example of a PL 11, better than average but not so powerful hero. His incredible reflexes and coordination makes it impossible to make him a PL 10 in my eyes. He fills in his level caps save in fort/will. He can challenge Wolverine and Captain America with his Agile Feint-21 Acrobatics and Power Attack. He came more expensive than I thought thanks to his many skills and overall high abilities.

Motivation (Power and Death): Thanos worked hard many times to increase his power and kill many beings in order to appease Death.
Relationship: Thanos is madly in love with Death and tries to win her heart.

Motivation (Worthiness): Thanos feels himself unworthy of ultimate power and let go of the power he gained more than once.

I expected Thanos to cost over 350 points but going over 400 was unexpected. But being an immensely powerful galactic threat with superhuman intelligence and diverse skills who commands an interstellar army extracts a heavy toll indeed (read the last part in Josh Brolin voice). He is one level lower than Darkseid, not his equal because Darkseid can fight 3-4 PL 14-15 guys while Avengers generally have more than two heavy hitters. His strength is little bit lower than peak Hulk but he is a much talented and accurate combatant. Most heroes would need to go full power attack to scratch him.

Motivation (Responsibility): Magneto's first and foremost goal in life is to protect the mutantkind. He himself experienced a genocide against his ethnicity while he was still a child and will do everything to prevent any atrocity against mutants.
Enemy: Charles Xavier and X-Men. Also any individual or organization actively harming mutants.
Reputation: He is a dangerous mutant terrorist.

Magneto is one of the strongest mutants and able to handle a X-Men team by himself, so PL 14 is fitting. Mutants are generally glass-cannon characters, so he doesn't reach his defensive power caps, even though he is very durable for a mutant. I also gave him a limited immunity to aging and beefed up his metabolism; no 90 year old man can be that jacked and athletic.

    The most powerful telepath of all. He is the epitome of a glass cannon as expected. I assume his flying wheelchair gives him a little bit dodge but I don't want to stat it. He can mind control a large crowd, Red Skull did it when he gained his powers after Prof's death. Being a sort of focused glass cannon with low physical abilities made him cheaper than I thought despite his huge array. I made Cerebro a device because it is unique and quite powerful. Blackbird and mansion fill his equipment quota. I wasn't sure about psychic shield but I guess he should be more resistant to mental attacks than say mundane intimidate or power nullification.

He cost as expensive as can be expected of his two arrays and one variable. He is the most versatile build I've ever done. This is natural, he is supposed to be able to fight 5-6 PL 10-11 X-Men members.

Edits:
  • Superman's Parry has been raised to 11. I want him to reach PL 15.5 on melee defense and have better parry than Captain Marvel.
  • Hulk's Regeneration total is 7 now, 10 looked to overpowered.
  • Thor's Regeneration 1 has been raised to 2 and Dodge 8 to 9. He was weaker defensively for his PL

Monstrous Appearance: Abomination looks like a towering monster as befitting his name.

His regeneration and enhanced luck for toughness saves help him last against opponents of higher power level. He may not win against Hulk but he can give him a long enough fight. His strength level is equal to baseline Hulk. At first I gave him an extra array for his strength tricks but making a PL 13 Brute cost 223 points didn't feel right. :D
