Sunny had needed a moment to reboot his brain after the revelation that Khemis could just... blend out of sight like that. It wasn't even like she was letting her matte-black skin blend into the shadows or anything like that since she was still wearing normal clothes... but she'd just faded out of view, as if bending light to effect a form of camouflage... Which implied a bunch of other things about how Khemis' abilities apparently worked that gave Sunny a headache.

Eye twitching slightly, Sunny did his best to compose himself. After a deep breath to allow the realization that he would have to play taxi for two this time to set in, Sunny set himself to it. "Alrighty then, but please try to relax and keep from moving around much... it's going to be very awkward to navigate the Loop's skyline without being spotted, so please ignore how windy it'll get as we fly because I'm going to need to circle around randomly to conceal our flight-path. But if the cops have choppers in the sky things are going to get dicey because I can't just skip to super-sonic with passengers..." he said, rolling his shoulders. "Excuse me."

In a flash, Sunny had stepped to Deborah and swept her up into his arms with the usual princess-carry. Once he was sure she was secure in his grip, he crouched down and gesture for Khemis to clamber on as well. "Come on, might as well make this quick."

She placed a call through dispatch to let them her location just in case. Being a white female cop all alone in this place is like being forcibly invited at gunpoint to a multiracial porn film exclusive.

Thankfully the police chopper was somewhere nearby although not quite near enough to draw attention.
