AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
I will get a post up shortly, but essentially all three towers will go down without incident given what has been discussed here.
Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
Luke wouldn't put up any resistance to being teleported.
Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
Arkrite, I know you said you were good with Harry keeping the Fatigued Condition. However I noticed Shield doesn't have any HP. Don't want you getting taken down by a bad roll on an Affliction that uses fatiguing effects. Shield might need/want to use Extra Effort for something later as well.

Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
I do believe Arkite has forgotten to add the HP I awarded last week for the delay.
Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
If that is the case, Evelyn will only counter Harper's Fatigued Condition.

Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
Luke is still waiting for his entrance or can I assume he gets to the rally point issue free?
Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
There is no risk of being spotted, even if you teleport up to one of the controlled towers.
Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
OK ... completely ignore the disguise dialog then.GM wrote:Looking over the courtyard, the soldiers appear to be given a bit of distance from the main building. No one is approaching it at all.
It will be next to impossible to approach the building under disguise without drawing serious attention to you.
Does the tower we're in have line of sight to a window in the main building? That way Madame Macabre would be able circumvent the courtyard altogether.

Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
You can't teleport into the building with the ritual, and Zyzzak can't Permeate through the walls.
Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
There is a sort of balcony area on the east side of the main building. Can Macabre teleports us there and are there entry point/doors on that upper level?

Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
No, the only way into the building is the South side of the building.
Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
What I'm hearing then is that this scenario is designed such that the PCs are not meant to use stealth, deception, or careful maneuvering.
Are there any supply caches in the courtyard? Fuel tanks for the vehicles, ammo storage, etc.

Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
I mean we are talking about 3 dozen very weak soldiers, and some old, slow-moving tanks - two of which are at least a round away from engaging anyone. With mass combat rules, the soldiers are still no threat of any kind to any of the PCs. Even if they are expecting meta-human engagement, the PCs are more powerful than 95% of the metahumans during WW2.
This is pretty much a token force without a whole lot of support, so know extra ammo or fuel stashes nearby.

Re: AEGIS Squad, Region 2 (OOC)
If I had to guess, the PCs having an easy win is a setup for something to follow.
