When he thought there was a good opportunity to take a shot at the fleeing masked criminal, the SWAT officer stopped, planted his feet in a bracing stance, then squeezed the trigger. A burst of bullet flew through the air after the other man. Then Douglas continued after him once more.

He is far too erratic in movement and your shot does not get near him. People are crouched down and running in any direction so long as it is away.. The gunshots just make them panic more.

"Hey!" Danni's shout was a hoarse bark, trying to draw the attacker's attention away from Douglas. Her rifle swung up smoothly, its simple sights moving into line- but this guy was moving too fast to really draw a bead on, even with her skills. There was no time to adjust...

But in that moment, she felt an increasingly familiar sense of calm- she didn't have no time, she had all the time in the world.
