Conner Flanagan
HP: 3
CND: Fine

Conner wanted to punch the woman out. She had a trick up her sleeve, he felt it in his bones. Conner was still a cop though, so he went with his training and pulled out some zip ties to bound the woman.

Douglas Reach
HP: 1
CND: Healthy

After the woman had surrendered and submitted to being restrained Douglas lowered the barrel of his rifle towards the ground, but kept it in line with the prisoner. So that all he would need to do was lift it and squeeze the trigger.

"Disarm and search her."

... he directed Conner promptly. Then, glancing around the scene of the conflict he speaks directly to Dani.

"Archer, take a look at the driver. He was cut."

Douglas then proceeds to update dispatch, informing them that one of the assailents had escape, that the second was captured, the transport driver was injured, and that they had a live bomb contained in a forcefield.

Brandon Warren

Brandon looks over the scene taking in all the people recovering from tear gas that he inadvertently tossed into the crowd with his wind. He lets out a heavy sigh.

Looking down at the pile of bags, he quips, ""I'm going to feel real silly if there isn't actually a bomb here."

Bad jokes to cover it up; that's how dad always did it.

Danni Morgan

Danni kept the woman covered until Conner had the woman properly contained. As soon as that was accomplished she moved as Douglas had directed, moving to assist the other driver (or anyone else who had been visibly hurt).

Conner, feel free to make a search roll. You can take as much time as you want if you want to take 20.

The drivers injuries are deep slashes to his leg. He looks very pale and has lost a lot of blood. Pressure and basic first aid will stabilise him until the ambulance gets there.

The bomb squad gets there and a bomb is discovered. In a courier satchel is a shaped charge. They were probably going to use it to blow the bottom out of the truck, killing the prisoners inside.

Eventually, prisoners get to their destination. Bomb nuetralised, civilians treated for injuries and property returned, forensic team brought to examine the scene. It is a regular circus. Eventually you get to go back to the squad house and spend the rest of the day filling out reports and answering questions, meeting the legal team, etc.

OOC. Everybody can have 2pp to do what they like with.

Conner Flanagan

The ninja lady was a tough cookie having survived blows as strong as bullets and literal bullets. Conner made sure to check her decency allowed. The jail would check her more later. "Whoever wanted these guys dead didn't hold back with killers.", remarks Conner. Once searched, he makes sure the woman gets back to jail.

The paperwork part was coming and the mess they made had a fair bit of questions. Conner answered them all truthfully as was his duty. He did what he thought was right and legal. No shame in that.

Brandon is grumpy and distracted during the paperwork and questioning. That spell got away from him big time, and he has no earthly idea why. If Dad was here, he could...

Douglas Reach
HP: 1
CND: Healthy

Douglas maintains a state of alertness, directing people as they arrive on scene if there is any hesitation in what they should be doing. Once they are back at the station, he goes through the routine of filing reports and answering questions like a professional. After it is all over he maintains a relaxed, though reserved demeanor. When the day's work schedule ends, he invites Brandon, Connor, and Danni out to get a bite to eat. If they decide to come, they find that he doesn't do a lot of talking. Enough to be social able and contribute to a conversation, but he certainly prefers to listen despite all the on-the-job talking he did.

Danni Morgan

Tending to the driver didn't take long- Danni had seen far worse injuries in her time. She almost forgot to have the medics tend to her own injury from one of the shuriken- while she was waiting she took a moment to dig out some of the paperwork she knew was coming; she had a few copies of the "Discharge of duty weapon" form in her gun case. During the rest of the clean-up and the trip back to the station, she was quiet- not sullen, just a bit distant, wrapped up in her own head going over what had happened (and what she would need to do better next time).

>Once the paperwork and "official business" is done, however, she is glad to grab some food with her new squadmates. Outside of work, she is far more social and talkative than she had been in the field. Between her time growing up as a military brat, and her own time in the service, she was entirely comfortable dealing with new people- hardly a chatterbox, but certainly able to carry her share of the conversation...

Conner Flanagan
HP: 3

In the interest of team compadre and pack dynamics, which his dogs had given him a thorough lecture on between begging for treats or walks, Conner joined up with Douglas for a bite to eat. After the rather crazy day they had, he kept it light hearted in his conversation. If others brought up heavier subjects he'd talk a little, but try to go too deep. A lot of what he would talk mostly about was the local sports teams and beer. Feisty, his toy poodle, loved beer and would constantly ask for it. Given her much smaller size when compared to the three German Shepards who hated beer, it was a bit of a shock to Conner.

After the meal, Conner headed home and got pounced on by his four dogs laying in wait. They went on about him being gone forever and how they thought he never return. It was the same every time Conner wasn't home on schedule. After tending to them, he got a quick shower and headed for some sleep.

Brandon Warren

While Brandon really wanted to spend every spare minute on the range practicing that spell, he recognized the need to be more cohesive as part of the team. He chose to go out with the others. While he was mostly preoccupied with his failure in the van, he was able to relax a bit as Conner kept the mood light.

He even went so far as to tell the tale about when he and Dad cleaned out the den of mold demons from that little west Texas town. The people were so grateful, but Brandon falling into the nest and Dad subsequently coming in after him left them smelling for a week. Even after several showers every day. It was funny recounting the look on the faces of the people around town as they tried desperately not to react to their smell out of gratitude for dealing with the problem.

It was one of the few times he could share a memory of his dad without breaking down in tears.
