Danni Morgan

With one of the targets gone, Danni turned ever so slightly to take aim at the remaining foe. The woman was quick and agile, but she was outnumbered now. "On the ground, now!," Danni barked as she swung her rifle into line. She had no expectation that the woman would actually give up, but she had to give her a chance.

>OOC:
-Move action with Deadeye to aim, Concentration DC 15 1d20+10= 16, roll https://orokos.com/roll/923587
-Again, she will use the "Covering" version of Ready: If the woman attacks or flees, Danni will shoot. If the woman makes "Surrender" gesture or action, Danni will NOT shoot.
-If she does shoot: Rifle 1d20+12= 13, roll https://orokos.com/roll/923593
-And immediately use that shiny new HP to reroll that because really? Are you kidding me Orokos?
-Reroll shot 1d20+12= 31, rollhttps://orokos.com/roll/923594 (Feast or famine on those dice; base 19 is a Crit for Danni)
(Precise Shot 2 means no penalty or danger for firing into melee. As previous, single shot, lethal.

The women moves to use Conner as cover but you were ready for her. The round smashes her ballistic mask back into her face. She is swaying on her feet.

Douglas Reach
HP: 1
CND: Healthy

Douglas' eyes quickly danced over the area he had expected to find the criminal. Crouching down he looked under the prison transport. Nothing. Speaking over the squad's coms he gave the others a brisk update.

"Lost sight of him. Stay alert for a surprise attack."

Rather than continue the search Douglas proceeded to stalk along the side of the vehicle until he could look around the corner. While using the transport for cover he aimed the barrel of his rifle at the woman Conner was brawling with and fired off a burst of bullets.

Danni Morgan

Danni continued to focus her attention on the woman who was facing off with Conner. "Give up! You're outnumbered and your buddy just took off without you!"

>OOC:
-Move action/ Concentration check dc 15; 1d20+10= ; Roll https://orokos.com/roll/924459 (Crit success there, but I don't think that has any meaningful effect)
-As before, using the "Covering" version of Ready Action. If the woman tries to attack or flee, Danni will shoot (single shot, lethal); if the woman makes obvious "surrender" gestures or motion, Danni will NOT shoot.
-Readied shot if needed 1d20+12= 15, roll https://orokos.com/roll/924460 .Probably a miss, unless she is stunned.

The woman, shot repeatedly, bit and abandoned by her partner, surrenders. She slowly puts her hands up.

"I surrender. Please don't shoot me anymore."
