I guess we should. It was only supposed to be a one week absence. It's nearly been 2. I have no idea who should though. I guess Adeleth is the adult in the room (scary).

Amy's support and a "junior agent" so to speak. She can make suggestions, but the adults in the room can over-rule her and she's expected to obey them, rightfully so.
At least, that's my interpretation of the situation and her basic role in the group. So yep, Adeleth is the next senior agent in charge .
I hope pathfinderq1 is okay and her situation has improved.

Quick update, because it seems necessary.
Not back, not close to back, not sure when I'm going to be back. Might be a while. In addition to massively altered work/life patterns, have absolutely no mental/emotional/creative energy available. Tangentially, was not even quite sure how to proceed BEFORE all of this happened- the disconnect between what Lilly is sensing and what nobody else can sense makes it hard to react appropriately (especially since previous episodes have shown not to discount her ability).
NPC Viv as needed. If for instance, she has to take custody of the items to convey them immediately/directly to a secure Ministry facility (off stage), or receives some indicator that the items are (at least mostly) safe for now and has to convince the holder to take them out of town right now, or back to University storage, and we can resolve that way. I can't remember if she has used her Inspiration since we got our last reset.

So two weeks ago, my father-in-law had a massive stroke- despite his age and previous health issues he is somehow not dead, and as of two days ago was moved from hospital to rehab facility. Between his condition and their family dynamics, he will probably never go back to living at home. Spouse and their parents were functionally 90% + estranged before this, but this has forced a bit of a mortality reset on that, which is just as much fun as it sounds (and the overall family dynamics are ugly as heck). They are close enough to visit, but far enough away for that to be a hassle, especially with daily visitor limits and trying to coordinate who goes when. And despite estrangement, spouse (as a research expert) has to do a lot of the rehab/long-term care research, and there is the past/present/future Brother-in-law ticking nuclear bomb...

Amy is of the take immediate custody of the items. She still has her Nox memories that come and go and those tell her not to screw with those kinds of dangerous items.

Now I think we've messed up a lot. If neither of the sensitive types want to allow the car to move, we should have called in reinforcements immediately on finding the car. We should have evacuated the area immediately.
