Ericka Akcire
  • Action Tokens: 9>8
  • Resistance: 6/2/2/3
  • Wounds: 0/5
Taking a shallow breath, Ericka starts to move as cautiously forward as she can. At the same time she spies her mobile weapon begin soaring behind toward the Akuma in an arc, a slight flick as it takes a moment to pre-emptively activate it's payload. It would hopefully prove enough distraction for her as she carefully stepped into the rotting frame of an old abandoned wagon. Just a moment more, and it'd be time to strike.

AT to move,
Tectus moves as ell, is unable to atack just yet.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

Grigor "Dog" Geddings
AT: 6 Wounds: 5/5

Dog continues following behind Ericka, flintlock at the ready as though he's expecting the akuma to jump out at him.
OOC: Recovery Run: 5d6 3, 4, 3, 3, 6
One success.

Sashura Vlasova
Wounds 0/7
AT : 6
Resistances 5/2/2/3
Auto Buckler primed

Sashura was - rather confused at this point.

Helmontra sounded like she'd rather be left alone, but has yet to do more than fire off a warning shot.

Not something you'd expect from a murderous creature of abominable magics.

Since she and Lloyd were meant to be the distraction, she figured it was time to be really distracting.

So she stepped up beside Lloyd and shouted "Pardon the intrusion, but are you the one with the deal with New Petram ?

One death per year by akuma is, relatively speaking, really good. That would make New Petram one of the safest places in Solum !

But at what price ?

Is murder the best way ? Or am I missing something ?"

The akuma does not look terribly impressed with Sashura's attempt to appeal to morals. "It is none of your business, intruder. Petram must remember what it did, the indignity it inflicted!"

Sashura maaaaay have made the akuma madder. The akuma casts it's arm forward, firing an explosive dart at the cluster before it.
Lloyd, the dart is being fired at you. If you succeed with 2 successes, the attack misses and an explosion goes off somewhere behind you (not on the handcart or anything, like, another building down the street).

If Lloyd fails, Bearrage and Sashura needs to make Tier 4 Agility saves to avoid the Explosive damage, which I have rolled in advance and will reveal once rolls are made, if the damage done is necessary.

After that, it's back to you guys. Lloyd, the other presense you sense with your Lifesense does not move.

Don't forget, those wet cloaks will give advantage on these. I think we said a cloak was good for two such attacks before needing to be re-soaked, yes?

Lloyd Millhaus
AT: 9 || Wounds: 7/7 || Casting: 6D6

Loyd's Shielding magics interposed itself before Lloyd even moved, deflecting it from the woodsman.

Shielding: 7d6=6, 6, 4, 2, 4, 6, 6 34 4 successes

Apparently Echos ate my post.
The magical dart smashes into Lloyd's defensive spell hard enough he feels the impact even though the disk is free-floating. The dart goes off, but thanks to the magic shield, the blast is focused away from the group, protecting them and the precious water barrel.
You guys are up. Go ahead.

Lady Moira Sterling
Moira AT: 7
Raptage AT: 4>5
Bearrage AT: 6

The dart flung out and the explosion could be heard but her friends (or bear) didn't bellow in pain. Still, She had to see.

Moira shifted her senses to Bearrage, and, while there, she looked around the ground and any corners on the main street for rune traps.
Raptage will move in unhurried flaps to get into a better position. He stays low so as not to give away that there are others here.
Recovery move, 9-2tiles, recover @ disad. 0att to move.
recovery move: 7D6 = [5, 4, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4] = 29 1 success
free action focus. focus: 1D6 = [4] = 4 failed.
Bearrage steps away from the others but otherwise assists Moira's looking.
free action step
action assist perception: 1D6 = [1] = 1 fail
She didn't want to interfere in case others had not exhausted their words.

Editted:

Moira says quietly into the Message ability Lloyd had. "Fire runes on ground 3 paces up from Bearrage, two paces across starting from building. Should be okay just to avoid them."

Moira can spot two runes in the places marked with fire markers. Lore check if you want to try and identify.

It's a flame imbued sigil! Pretty common mine-type trap. Usually goes off when someone steps on or very near it. They don't typically have a huge radius. Should be safe as long as no-one enters those hexes

Lloyd Millhaus
AT: 9 || Wounds: 7/7 || Casting: 6D6

"Helmontra, Petram rejected your kindness out of fear. I am sorry for this. I know you have found another as companion, in North building from you. Is good." he announces loudly for his companions. "Maybe there can be peace still? No sacrifice?" Lloyd asked in one more hope of a non-fiery resolution.

He likewise steps to give a bit of separation.

And summons Darts for a Fertile patch for himself and Sashura. He releases his immediately and a field of greenery and flowers fill the road at his feet. (Maybe she'd think it was a gift). "Sashura, no need release immediately. Maybe position near North corner of left buildings so people can come up quickly. Dart goes 18 feet away." Lloyd says.

Fertile, dart, linked: [6d6=4, 3, 5, 2, 4, 5] 23
Got the 2 needed.

If Moira's rune warning comes through he'll spread that to Sashura as well.

Ericka Akcire
  • Action Tokens: 8>4
  • Resistance: 6/2/2/3
  • Wounds: 0/5
Ericka feels her spear make itself known with an attempted savage strike towards the Akuma, intent on jamming itself in deep just before the ticking of it's in-built explosive- Detonated, setting the area around it ablaze in shrapnel and ash. Ericka, truthfully, didn't think the fire would do much to harm such a being. As long as it provided enough of a distraction however than she'd be perfectly alright.
Inemeg's Attack and subsequent explosion (Tier 5 Agility to dodge)
Attack: 3 (I typed t4 by accent, this is the real number of successes)
Elemental Damage:4 Same here too [/url]
Except, not really. Considering her next move was absolutely, positively, completely insane and she really should've left when she had the chance. Yet, Violence was calling to her. She desperately needed to satiate her Gemini and Inimeg's thirst for blood, as well as her own as deeply hidden it may be. So she called to her inner magics, that sense of Charm within, pulling forth the powers of petrification before rushing out with intent to strike.

Cunning Test Vs. T4(Petrification): 4
Cunning Test Vs. T1 (Attacking): 2

2 AT: Charge
2 AT: Combo (2 extra attacks)

Attacks
Slice: 1
And Dice: 1
And Chop: 2 (If chop applies as on a total success basis, ignore 1 point of armor here)
(Tier 5 endurance check to resist Petrification [5 injurries]
She comes in with her blades, mustering her courage to lash out with her magically imbued blades. Once, twice, thrice- It didn't matter if she herself wasn't terribly physically strong, she just needed to get in at least one hit. Of course, at the end of it all, she was left face to face with the beast itself.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

The akuma doesn't seem to have noticed the spear until it jabs into it and explodes dealing heavy damage. This puts the akuma on guard as Ericka charges, though the wielder finds it strange as she doesn't feel that primal quiver as she attacks, though that doesn't stop the akuma from swiping in a smooth motion with the heavy, charred pillar and battering two of her follow up attacks aside, though the one that does get through doesn't manage to pierce the akuma's tough flesh, the charm dissipating harmlessly. And now Ericka has those glowing coal eyes focused directly on her.

Grigor "Dog" Geddings
AT: 6 (= 7 starting - 1 Attack) Wounds: 5/5

He'd made a massive mistake. There was no money worth what he was staring down now. It had just survive getting exploded.

The smart move was to turn and run. Let it get Ericka-

"Aw hell," Dog muttered, leveling his flintlock right between the Akuma's eyes and letting loose a blast of smoke and fire, "Weren't never that smart anyways."

OOC: Burn one AT to attack (7->6)
Cunning check to attack Akuma: 5d6 1, 1, 3, 5, 3
One success
Attack on Akuma
Flintlock attack on Akuma: 7d6 6, 6, 2, 6, 3, 5, 6
That's five successes, Penetration which ignores a single point of armor.
