Complications
Motivation: She loves an adventure and is in it for the thrills more than anything else. Although she won’t recklessly endanger innocents just to show off.
Enemy: In addition to Dragonsbane and Bloodfire targeting her due to her connection to Dragonblade, she has made an enemy of Kid Crusher. Just couldn’t take no for an answer and then she beat him easily.
Fame: Due to her connection to the Freedom League, appearance, and otherworldly nature, it is almost impossible for her to stay out of the limelight while in public.
Otherworldly: She is new to Earth and has a lot to learn about its cultures and customs.
Relationship: She will do anything for her older sister and boyfriend.

Build Comments: The younger sister of Dragonblade, she is more focused on speed and accuracy over power, acting like a swashbuckler and striking with blinding speed.

History: The younger sister of Daar aka Dragonblade, Surina was smart and agile from an early age, climbing into treetops by the age of 3. She was taught some magic and first aid skills by her mother, her father wished for her to follow in his footsteps as a swordsmith. Her interest in swords grew and she went off to the Loi’vish Swordsmen Academy just 2 years after Daar joined.

She proved herself most adept with the style dubbed swashbuckling by some humans who appeared in the Realm just a few centuries ago. Flipping, jumping, tumbling, using her environment to her advantage, and striking swiftly, she proved to be a foe hard to pin down, let alone catch. Buildings, the city, these were her home and she ruled in them, able to move about with such ease others couldn’t keep up. Her teachers, along with her sparring partner, were shocked when she was disarmed and suddenly manifested a saber in her hand.

Such a power, any sword she wields becomes unbreakable, she can manifest any style of sword she wants into her hands at will, which is unheard of. And yet she continued to train, honing her skills. Upon graduating she left home with tears in her eyes, heading out into the world to find adventure. She is a danger magnet, attracting local thugs, stumbling upon villainous plots, finding people being attacked by beasts while out on a simple walk. Across the Realm word soon spread of the "Lightning Blade", resulting in idiots challenging her to prove themselves.

Going to visit Daar, she found only death. The dragon Daar was bonded to dead, with Daar nowhere to be seen. Stumbling about in the woods in a panic, only by a fluke of luck she spotted Daar as she went through a portal just before it shut. Marking the sport with a simple magic ritual, she went off to find help. Telling her story, everyone said she could only wait for another portal to open and hope to find Daar on the other side.

Surina went on with her life, even dating a genius human who could invent things beyond the tech of the dwarves. Before she knew it almost a year had passed and a new portal opened, Surina tried to go alone but her boyfriend insisted on coming. Through the portal they found themselves in an unknown forest, coming out into a city the likes of which they'd never seen. Drawn attention to themselves, the Freedom League arrive and Surian soon reunited with Daar. A new world to explore, heroes and villains, perfect for Surina and her boyfriend so they agreed to come probationary members of the Freedom League. They have since become full members and even have regular foes.

Description: She is an attractive young woman with a curvy, yet toned build. She keeps her auburn hair in a single braided ponytail to keep it out of the way in a fight. Her green eyes show an eagerness and curiosity that never seems to be filled. Her skin is partially covered in emerald green scales with the rest a smooth milky white. She has a pair of black horns on her head and a long tail that reaches her feet.

Her clothes can vary but her preferred outfit in a fight is her original clothes from the Realm. Consisting of a bodice shirt laced in the front, a pair of tight-fitting jerkins that leave enough room to breathe, a pair of tough boots with copper plating on the upper part and straps in the middle, her simple leather belt has a buckle in the shape of a sideways crescent moon, has a cured leather jacket and hanging from her neck is a carved green gemstone. She tends to wield a saber with green crystal on the lower part of the blade, a unique aspect of her manifested swords.

Powers & Abilities: Lightning Blade is a Dragonkin from the Realm, a humanoid being formed in the image of dragons. Her green-scaled skin provides a degree of protection and provides her with immunity to all forms of heat and flame. Her natural strength is greater than it appears, having compact yet strong muscle structure and enhanced human stamina.

She is highly resistant to injury, especially when using her training to “roll with the punches” as it were. Her eyes allow her to see in any condition, even pitch-black, while she can strike powerful blows with her tail. As a Dragonkin she can live for centuries with no ill effect on their health or abilities.

Her greatest power comes from her swordsmanship and swashbuckling skills, focusing on accuracy over power and shifting to defense as needed. With swift jabs and slashes, she can take down a group of foes in short order, trained to fight blindfolded when need be. A strange power, one that even her mother has no idea where it comes from, is the power to manifest unbreakable swords at will. Her training at the Loi’vish Swordsmen Academy made her a deadly fighter with any sword, able to strike multiple blows in an instant; training all at the Loi'vish Swordsmen Academy have to cut through magic and spells; and learned how to channel some magic into her swords so they can strike ghost and other immaterial beings.

Her swashbuckling skills allow her to leap, jump and move about with ease through cities and other urban environments, literally able to run up and bound off walls to quickly climb structures, landing safely from dangerous falls by using the environment and overcoming obstacles with ease. She has learned how to combine this with her fighting skills to leave her foes off balance and confused.

Personality: Surina is fun-loving and thrill seeker, going out of her way to find excitement when she starts to get bored. Yet she seems to be a trouble magnet, drawing them to her or stumbling upon them with regular frequency. This hasn’t dulled her sense of adventure, only reinforced it. She is a kind, caring girl and will go out of her way to help any way she can, leaving gifts to complete strangers and when not fighting evil volunteering at local hospitals.

Known Tactics: Keep moving, never stay still, even if you are just adjusting your stance. Strike swift and without warning, moving so swift your blade is a literal blur. Never get backed up against a wall or other place you can’t get out of easily, lack of maneuverability will be your death. She strikes with feints first to gauge her opponents and set them up for a swift strike. Never use more power than needed. Never use Rapid Strikes to hit at multiple foes unless you can avoid hitting allies and innocents in the process.

Friends and Allies: Her sister, Dragonblade; boyfriend, Sureshot; Freedom League

Rivals and Enemies: In addition to her sister’s foes, she has ticked off Kid Crusher when she not only rejected him but then beat him embarrassingly with flare.

Complications
Motivation: He is driven by curiosity and experiencing something new, along with an adventurous streak where he can field test his inventions.
Enemy: In addition to Dragonsbane and Bloodfire targeting him due to his connection to Dragonblade, he has made an enemy of Kid Crusher. The creep is after his girl and more than once has attacked him.
Fame: Due to his connection to the Freedom League and otherworldly nature, it is almost impossible for him to stay out of the limelight while in public.
Otherworldly: He is new to Earth and has a lot to learn about its cultures and customs.
Relationship: He will do anything for his girlfriend, Surina, and her older sister, Daar.

Build Comments: A genius inventor from the Realm and boyfriend of Surina aka Lightning Blade, he is a tank able to wade into melee range to make point-blank shots when needed.

History: Nathan was born into a family of blacksmiths always longing for more, his imagination needing to be unleashed. Thus he took to reading the few books on science and technology within the Realm he could get his hands on. Gifted was an understatement, as he was a natural, the machines seemed to speak to him, and ideas and new designs just seem to pop into his head.

Yet more than once unintended side-effects and explosions resulted in him being forced to leave the place he had called home. But this was a blessing in disguise, as he began to field test his inventions and tweak them, making improvements here and there. It was upon finding a new home at last when he met Surina, who was traveling herself while waiting for a means to follow her sister. Although at first she was annoyed at all his talk, soon she began to wear down and listen to what he was saying. His experiments and creations, the risk involved in designing and building them, were adventures too. It wasn’t long before they were going steady, while she continued to listen and he continued to invent.

But before they knew it almost a year had passed, Surina’s mother sent word that a new portal was opening in the same spot and to rush home. Nathan insisted on coming along and soon they passed through the portal, ending up in an unknown forest. And through it, they came upon a city like out of Nathan’s dreams, one built using science and technology never seen before in the Realm. People began to stare and a crowd started to form, thankfully Daar and her new friends showed up and prevented the mob from turning violent. Living in the Freedom League’s Earth-based H.Q., they soon became probationary members until they proved themselves. So far it has been a thrill ride for them both, as they faced villains the likes of which he had never seen before and gets to study technology only dreamed of in his homeworld.

Description: Nathan is an above-average-looking guy, having an average build but toned muscles. He keeps his blond hair trim and short, while his blue eyes show intelligence and curiosity rare to meet. His skin is pale from spending hours indoors working on his inventions, yet has kept himself in good shape.

Most of the time he wears a simple pair of leather overalls with pouches and tool belts, having a pair of protective goggles on while working in the lab. Yet when expecting trouble or when training he wears the gear he came through to Earth with. A button-up red trench coat with big brass buttons and straps on the shoulder area to keep the shoulder armor In place. Armor plating protects his forearms while leather gloves allow him full dexterity, plate armored boots are worn and partially weighed to compensate for the recoil on his energy rifle. He wears what appears to be an old brown aviator’s helmet with built-in goggles which provide him various enhancements to his sight. His greatest invention is a powerful rifle that looks like something out of science fiction, with antennas and a steampunk/space opera look to it.

Powers & Abilities: Nathan is a genius and natural inventor, finding technology to be easy to work with and understand. He is one of the foremost inventors of technological creations back home in the Realm. His mind is constantly coming up with new ideas and designs to work on.

Outfitted with 3 of his best inventions, he is a force to be reckoned with and tougher than a tank in his armored suit. It is a combination of super-tough fabrics in a unique weave, with pieces of mithril plate set throughout the suit at strategic points for extra protection. It has a built-in cooling system and he can survive in the hottest environments while wearing it in comfort. The boots have padding built-in and jump jets allowing him to “leap” great distances.

His cap is designed to be hard for others to take off, his goggles being their true source of power. With them he can see in any lighting with no problem, even into the infrared spectrum; has a built-in distance gauge and advanced telescopic vision; it even allows him to see through illusions.

But his masterpiece is the energy rifle, capable of taping into the electromagnetic spectrum of energy for various effects. From powerful blast of any of the electromagnetic spectrum, weaker but wider blast over a large area, fire a maser beam of deadly energy to cause harm or simply to melt inanimate objects, and even a setting which fires a bolt of electrical energy designed to stun and even knock out targets.

Personality: Nathan is a genius with a big imagination who loves to talk about science or his newest project with an eager face. He can get lost in his own work and spaces out, engaged deeply in his work till someone snaps him out of it. Yet he seems like a curious kid when learning about something new, always wishing to take things apart and see how they work.

Known Tactics: Sureshot will seek to shield softer targets from harm, especially innocents in the area, while taking shots at targets as able to. His foes' actions determine his: Those who simply try to escape or use non-lethal force will simply be hit with the electro-stunner; those who use lethal force will face either electromagnetic blast; or those who use tools and vehicles as weapons he will target and melt their toys. When fighting alongside Lightning Blade he always keeps her safe, even moving into melee, so he can shield her from harm as needed.

Friends and Allies: His girlfriend, Lightning Blade; her sister, Dragonblade; Freedom League

Rivals and Enemies: In addition to his girlfriend’s foes, he has ticked off Kid Crusher by telling him to back off and leave his girl alone, only to get into a fight each time.

Complications
Enemy: Dr. Stratos blames Thunderbolt for his plan going awry and his own transformation, now trying to steal all the energy from Thunderbolt to increase his own power and alter his form once more.
Motivation-Responsibility: Thunderbolt learned lessons about power and responsibility the hard way and wants to use his powers to help others.
Relationship: Despite being superheroes of equal strength, Thunderbolt feels very protective of Centuria. And any villain who dares to go after his parents will regret it.
Weakness: Without his costume to help regulate his bio-electricity, Thunderbolt suffers Affliction [Resisted and overcome by Will; Dazed, Immobile, Paralyzed] from water-based effects equal to their rank.

Build Comments: Ray, Jr. but not trapped as an energy being. But why it happened differently, both to him and to Dr. Stratos, for this one particular event and changed their paths in life is still a mystery.

History: The events of Ray, Jr.'s life were the same as in Earth-Prime, until the incident where Dr. Stratos tried to turn him into a "thunderbomb" by draining Captain Thunder's powers into him. This plan backfired on Dr. Stratos, as part of the power surged from Ray, Jr.'s body into Dr. Stratos. Crying out in pain, Stratos fleed before any could see what was happening to him.

Meanwhile, Ray, Jr. slipped into a coma-like state as the energy continued to rage uncontrolled. Working together, Daedalus and Dr. Atom pushed themselves, working over 48 hours straight to stabilize Ray, Jr. But it wasn't without lasting consequences. Ray, Jr.'s body underwent changes, bulking up, growing in height, even his hair and eyes changed color. After his recovery, it was discovered his bio-electricity had increased and focused inward completely. As strong and invulnerable as Centuria now, he could even fly as fast as her.

Thus to learn how to wield his new abilities Centuria was made his trainer. During their training together Ray, Jr. learning some of the wrestling techniques and skills that were available due to being a brick, but Centuria and he also grew closer. While he seeks to do his best to fill his father's role on the team, he also has found happiness as Centuria and he have started dating.

Description: Ray, Jr. is now a muscular, fit, and attractive young man. He wears his black hair short and slicked back, yet it stands up on top as some of his bio-electricity charges it. His green eyes make it hard to read him as they glow and appear pure green unless he is somehow drained of his electrical energy.

His average outfit is a simple tee-shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes most of the time, trying to hold onto a part of himself before the change. As Thunderbolt his costume is pure black and nearly skintight, with lines running from his chest to bracers on each wrist that glow with green electricity when tapping into his powers.

Personality: Ray Gardener, Jr. has reigned in his old irresponsible and impulsive nature, knowing it was these traits that lead him into the trap and his father losing his powers. He is more serious, especially when acting as Thunderbolt, but still has some of his fun-loving nature.

He wants his parents, mentors, and especially Kate to be proud of him and feels a duty to live up to his father's legacy. He especially wishes to see Stratos locked up, the transformed villain becoming more unstable and dangerous with time.

Kate and he started dating within a year of his transformation, and have been going steady since. Ray, Jr. has been thinking about proposing but isn't certain he is really ready to take that leap.

Powers and Abilities: Thunderbolt's physiology has been augmented by his increased bio-electricity in various ways. He possesses superhuman fortitude and stamina, able to survive in nearly any environment, impervious to anything less than rocket launchers or the main gun of a tank. His strength is equal to Centuria's, though less experienced with it than she is. He can fly at great speed and his reaction times are enhanced.

Due to his previous experience as Bolt and training from Centuria, Ray, Jr. is a trained and capable hand-to-hand combatant, learned control over his prodigious strength when grappling with Centuria to avoid injuring her.

Known Tactics: Thunderbolt seeks to first make sure any civilians are cleared from the area, no risk of collateral damage of that sort ever. He seeks to pin down any strong opponents in various grapples, not wishing to inflict harm even to opponents if possible. Only should this strategy fail will he move to unarmed combat, using little strength and only increasing it as he knows his opponent can take more.

He will interpose for any teammates as needed, but if you attack Centuria and actually harm her he will go berserk [All-Out Attack] until the foe is unconscious.

Friends and Allies: His allies in the Freedom League, especially Centuria, are family to him as he grew up around them. He keeps in contact with his old friends from NextGen, Bowman, and Seven on the Freedom League with him and loves reliving old times.

Rivals and Enemies: Dr. Stratos blames him for his transformation and seeks to steal his powers, believing they would increase his own and allow him to fix his warped form.

Claremont Academy

Post by Psistrike »

Claremont Academy
Out of various places in Freedom City, Claremont Academy has changed the most over the years. Students have come and gone, threats ranging from rogue creations of students gone out of control, aliens, Atlanteans, hate groups like P.U.R.G.E., and even attempts by rogue Gene Nation members trying to abduct metahuman students have happened, but they have weathered it all.

The exterior of the school has remained the same, yet it is now made of new, more durable materials and secretly housing advanced technology on par with some of the best superhero bases. Headmaster Summers is still in charge and tries to weigh punishments with mercy and understanding, many of his students in situations beyond their control.

Last year a joint attack by P.U.R.G.E. and the Knights for a Pure Mankind had devastating consequences. Alan Archer died, shielding several students from Butcher's attack with his own body. He has a hero's memorial in the main quad to the left of Dr. Charles Claremont's statue. On the base is a plaque, inscribed with the words "Alan Archer, a true teacher, a true hero. He lived for his students and died for them."

Duncan Summers was hit the hardest, he made this place to be a safe haven for metahuman and other students to learn. It needed to improve. A new defense system with facial and DNA recognition was put in place, using non-lethal ordinance in case of a glitch or a student accidentally triggering it. A remote system can trigger it to use more dangerous ordinances when the school is attacked, it only responds to Headmaster Summers and staff members.

To the despair of many magical supervillains, an unfortunate incident between Sloth and Bloodstone back in 2014 in the garden had some of her blood spilled, turning the blood dew to stone, seemingly permanent. Sloth was stuck as a statue for 2 weeks due to this, with Duncan Summers warning him next time he attacked another student unprovoked, he would be shipped off to Ryerson Academy. Sloth has been unusually subtle and only bullies students in a way that won't get him caught or goads them into attacking first, at least so far.

Claremont Graduates Now

Post by Psistrike »

Claremont Graduates now
Various students have graduated from the Claremont Academy, some have moved on to new teams such as Thunderbolt and Seven with the Freedom League or Sonic with the Nightshadows. Still, others have moved on with their lives in various ways. These are detailed below. Those not detailed will have their own entries later on.
• Agent H: After graduating from Claremont Academy in 2014, Hope returned to Erde and has helped to turn the tide against the Nazis and their machines. Already a quarter of the former United States has been freed and the fight continues.
• Angaza: After graduating from Claremont Academy, he returned to Dakana and has been helping with security and is one of the few people who feels safe around the daka crystals. He did discover the truth about the daka crystal fragments in his body; they are a channel for powers that had been latent within him before the accident.
• Battlecry: The arrogant rich boy had enough of his 'lessers' looking down on him. He tried to buy out Claremont Academy so he could have it run his way and was expelled, not even Ryerson would take him. Back home he has tried to form his own team of 'superheroes' with him as the leader, but his personality and attitude towards others have prevented this from happening so far.
• Crater: Samot returned to the moon and is instrumental in the fight against Lady Lunar and her minions, as her forces have expanded in the last few years.
• Firepower: After graduating in 2013, Nathan returned to his home in San Francisco, California. He has been trying to start up a new superhero team, but so far Gatekeeper has turned down his offer.
• HD: Quentin graduated and moved to Hollywood, with the help of an up-and-coming director he got licensed to do special effects for films and is living his dream now.
• Feline and Mystery Mutt: The most unlikely couple are engaged to be married and moved back to the Ani-Verse together. Mystery Mutt was shocked his parents were so accepting of his girlfriend; his mom blurted out that she is just happy he found someone, with his dressing up in costume and fighting crime she thought no woman would ever want to marry him.
• Nereid: The young princess returned home after graduating, her father and his forces in need of help against new threats, including new rebel forces, agents of the Titan House coming after orichalcum treasures, the Trident group, and various other threats.

Complications
Motivation: Kid Sentinel is driven by the thrill of being a superhero and also responsibility drilled into her by her mom about using her powers to protect others.
Accident: She has yet to learn how to fully control her power, she tends to cause a lot of collateral damage in fights. Especially when facing her cousin, Kid Crusher.
Enemy: Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher
Identity: Jenna Sinclair, high school student
Relationship: Mother, Danielle Sinclair aka Infinity; Uncle, Adam Sinclair aka Caliburn
Uncomfortable: Even after 4 years of being female, she still is uncomfortable with some aspects of it. Especially being hit on by boys, as she still is attracted to girls.

Build Comments: The daughter of Infinity and niece of Caliburn, she has the same powers as her mother but on a lesser scale.

History: With parents like his, Jeremy grew up with a love of books, an addiction he shares with his mother. Teasing at school he could deal with, it was his cousin Clark that began to take its toll. Even in preschool he would push him around and hit him when no one was watching, a bully like his mother yet preferring the physical side to verbal.

Jeremy got a visit at the age of 4 from his uncle Adam, who even taught him some basic self-defense techniques to use against Clark. Life was great, spending time with dad, mom, and his uncle. But a simple trip to try and keep the peace with aunt Karen ended up changing their lives.

A walk in Central Park, such a simple joy in life to watch the birds and animals at play. But aunt Karen ruined it again, bashing on mom and bragging about her own life. A wave of strange energy was all Jeremy saw before losing consciousness, waking up in the hospital alongside his mom. Nothing was found wrong by the doctors so they went home as if nothing had happened.

For a time things went back to normal, but with avoiding any visits with aunt Karen and cousin Clark. Even things at school were improving. The shock of the news made it seem like a nightmare, some living shadow had broken into his dad's place of work and took his life, someone his uncle Adam mention is called the Summoner when he thought Jeremy had gone to bed. Even with the new hero in town, Caliburn, hunting the being responsible they escaped each time.

A slip-up by uncle Adam and the secret was out, he was Caliburn. From the top of the stairs, he listened to the tale of his uncle fighting this monster, the Summoner, and his minions for a while now. Jeremy rushed down, begging Adam to train him, but was refused. He was too young, he didn't wish to put him in any danger. But Jeremy studied harder and furthered the self-defense training his uncle had given him on his own time, yet it wasn't enough.

Almost a year and a half since his father's death, having just turned 10, the "Gene Pulse" kicked in. Cosmic energy, the raw power he could tap into now. Not as strong as his mom's, but he had room to grow. Now he would have to be trained. But good news often comes with bad, as aunt Karen and cousin Clark both became powerhouses, imbued with raw strength and toughness, and decided to use it to be even bigger bullies than before. His first major superhero fight alongside his mom was against his own aunt and cousin, dubbing themselves Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher. Jeremy took the name Kid Sentinel, after a local hero team, while his mother called herself Infinity.

Inexperience and the desire of Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher to cause as much damage as possible resulted in the fight not going too well. Oh, they won and the evil aunt and cousin were taken away by AEGIS authorities, but an entire city block had been reduced to rubble.
Training in earnest to learn control and reduce collateral damage to a minimum began.

2 years after his powers manifested another huge wrinkle showed itself. The cosmic energy Jeremy and his mom tapped into was feminine aligned for unknown reasons. And it decided only females could wield it. Waking up on his 12th birthday as a girl was a shock, only mom's lessons and being talked to calmed her down. Having to relearn how to move, how to act, everything to do in her new form was a challenge. Mom was there every step of the way, teaching her all she knew, even helping her come up with a new name, Jenna.

Clark's taunts got worse in their fights, calling her a real sissy now, and for a time drove Jenna into a rage. It took over a year before the taunts no longer worked, yet their fights were still an issue as they never hold back against each other. Jenna still struggles to learn control over her power, as once she thinks she has a handle on it something new pops up. Even fighting alongside the Defenders against the likes of Bloodfire and Dragonsbane or Fire Tyrant and his kaiju, she tended to cause more damage than the foes she faces.

Mom's transfer to Freedom City, her joining the Freedom League, Jenna was overjoyed. She thought they would continue to fight alongside each other. But due to her age, her lack of control of her power, she was sent to Claremont Academy in the hopes she would learn to control the immense power she has been gifted with.

Description: Jenna is a girl who is like a young version of her mother, very attractive, curvy, and tanned. Her hair turned snow-white upon hitting puberty, kept short as a way of holding onto the boy she once was. Her blue eyes show intelligence behind them, but in a fight, they can also show a fury barely held in check, especially when facing her cousin or those who endanger innocents on purpose.

She tends to wear baggy tee-shirts and sweaters, alongside jeans or sweatpants to hide her figure, to no avail. Tennis shoes are the only footwear she will wear, avoiding girly heels and such at all costs. His transformation into a girl removed his need for glasses, her vision finally being fixed and even improved. As Kid Sentinel, she wears a uniform similar to her mom's but fitted to her; a white uniform like a one-piece swimsuit, wearing a short blue cape, blue gloves with white trim [longer than her mom's], and white boots.

Powers & Abilities: Kid Infinity was changed by the “Gene Pulse”, her body changed, even transforming him into a girl after a few years. She can channel cosmic energy in various ways, though mostly raw power and crude applications so far. A simple cosmic shield protects her from harm to a great degree and allows her to survive in any environment. She can fly at speeds over Mach 2. She lacks her mother's cosmic awareness, never seeing the point of trying to develop it.

She has barely scratched the surface of her potential, mostly relying on blasts of raw cosmic energy in the form of various electromagnetic energies, or focusing it just enough to lift and move things like a giant hand.

Personality: Jenna is a smart young woman who is sociable and tries to get along with others. She is dedicated to her studies and rarely goes out partying, even if she could sneak away from Claremont to do so. She loves to spend time outdoors and watch animals. But when in a fight she becomes focused on winning and tends to not notice how much damage she does to the environment, especially when facing her cousin Kid Crusher. Still adapting to being a girl, she still hasn't gotten used to certain aspects of being a girl. Especially being hit on by boys, as she still likes girls and identifies herself as a lesbian now.

Known Tactics: Kid Sentinel doesn’t use real tactics that much, simply jumping into the fray and hitting hard to stop opponents. She prefers to not send them flying unless given no other choice against opponents who just won’t go down. Against large groups, she has learned how to channel her cosmic energy outward in an explosive burst when needed. Against opponents who prove too tough for her to hurt normally, she will focus on power over accuracy but becomes like a bull in a china shop when doing so, breaking things around her more often than hitting her true target.

When facing her cousin Kid Crusher, she will go all out and hit hard, taking out her frustration for all the years of being bullied. Unfortunately, she also has less control when doing so and tends to cause even greater collateral damage in such fights.

Friends and Allies: Caliburn [uncle], Infinity [mother]

Rivals and Enemies: Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher [aunt and cousin]

Complications
Motivation: He is driven by a need for revenge against all dragons, for the cruel curse placed upon him by one for a minor theft as a child. He also craves power and does anything to gain more.
Cursed: Without the armor on to abate the curse, his blood feels like it is on fire and he is in constant pain. During such times he is impaired on all checks and dazed.
Enemy: Dragonblade and through her, the Freedom League
Megalomaniac: He believes himself to be greater than others and that he should rule over all, constantly plotting and planning means to gain more power to ensure his goals come to fruition.
Methodical: Seeing others fail over and over due to poor planning, he plots and plans out every little detail, possible complications, and studies his foes before making the first move. This includes when just sending out Dragonsbane to acquire something for him.
Otherworldly: Despite having been on Earth for several years now, he still has a lot to learn about the customs and even laws. Social customs are virtually unknown except those he reads about.

Build Comments: A powerful human from the Realm wearing enchanted armor made from an elder dragon, he is almost as powerful as an elder dragon while wearing it.

History: He thought nothing of it, the dragon had so much, a single coin wouldn't be missed. But the youth didn't know that each piece of a dragon's horde, whether they horde treasure, knowledge, etc. becomes a part of them only losing this link if the dragon willingly gives a piece of its horde away. Theft of even a single piece is like stealing a piece of their body, their soul, and will bring their wrath upon you. The punishment, a curse to be constantly in pain, his blood feeling like it was on fire, felt like cruelty from a being who could have spared a coin.

When he learned the truth of why he was cursed, it enraged him. How dare this dragon, no matter how ancient and powerful, treat him in such a way. With each passing day, his rage and resentment festered, until he vowed to make all dragons pay. As he grew he studied his sworn enemies, learned magic and curses as a means to take his revenge against the cruel being. But soon he began to crave power, tapping into the darkest of magic and struck. The dragon who cursed him died of a wasting disease over a month, yet the curse remained.

Just short of 100 years ago his luck changed, as he stole a dragon's scale but an angry mob gave chase, all somehow resistant to his spells. The end seemed near till a huge Dragonkin stepped in and scared them off. Just what he needed, a guard and ally until he could reach his goals. A mutual hatred of dragons began a friendship or at least an alliance that has lasted to this day.

He drank the blood of the dragons he slew, slowing his aging while making him larger, strong, and tougher than before, a giant. It wasn't long, by his standards, before he found the perfect dragon for his plans. Rith lured away its Dragonkin servant, giving him a chance to slip into its lair and slit its throat before it even knew he was there. With his prize in hand, he slunk back to his lair to craft its body into the ultimate enchanted armor for himself. Months passed in his lair in the span of a few hours outside and the suit was ready, as the reborn Bloodfire stepped forth in time to see the female Dragonkin stare at him in shock.

Seeing what had been done to her master she flew into a fury and gave chase, forcing Bloodfire and Rith to flee as he was still getting used to the armor. In a blind run, they crashed through trees and through a portal that opened in their path without warning. Rith followed and they found themselves in a new forest.

Taking flight before their foe caught up, they discovered a world unlike the one they came from; a massive city, the stuff of legends within the Realm, just standing there with countless humans walking about. Bloodfire stayed his hand upon spotting a human of powerful build flying without the aid of wings nor magic. Information and planning would be needed. Locating a cave complex outside the massive city, he began to plot and plan their next step. It didn't help the female Dragonkin, going by Dragonblade now, had gained new allies in short order. Then all his planning was ruined when her younger sister and her boyfriend showed up recently, forcing him to go back to the drawing board. Soon, very soon he would make his first major move and the world would see the face of their new ruler.

Description: Bloodfire’s original name has been forgotten, even by him thanks to the dragon’s blood draughts side-effects. He has grown into a tall, lanky yet powerful built man thanks to the dragon’s blood draughts; even without his armor, he is more than a match for normal humans physically. He wears his black hair long and shaggy, only trimmed in the front to prevent it obscuring his vision. His pale gray eyes show a ruthless nature that will show no mercy.

The only part of his original body which can be seen is his face, for the rest is never seen without his dragon armor on. An armor made of red dragon scales, the breastplate, and parts of the legs have turned to a dull gray; three gemstones of varying size are affixed to different parts of the armor: a fist-sized metallic green gem on the upper left of the breastplate, a deep greenish-black as a belt buckle and finally a large fiery orange gem on the back of the right gauntlet. Red dragon wings on the back of the armor allow him to fly while a tail like a chain-whip can be willed to strike. Various spikes on the legs lend to an overall look designed to inspire fear and awe from the wearer.

Powers & Abilities: A cursed human who sought out dark magic to aid In his quest to lift the curse and gain revenge, he has a lot of power from various sources. He studied and practiced for decades some of the darkest magics ever found within the Realm; capable of casting curses and dark spells able to do anything from cripple, transform or leave his victims cursed; casting a death curse which can slay even the most powerful of beings; fire a barrage of mystic bolts in the form of energy arrows, these can harm nearly anything and he even has programmed them to fire whenever he is struck hard enough, although this use is limited; plunge an area up to 60 miles in radius into deep nightfall yet allow him to see normally; transform into a living shadow and even step into shadows to exit from another set of shadows up to over 300 leagues away. Yet he has been lax in maintaining his study and practice of dark magic, relying on his dragon armor more now.

By drinking draughts brewed from dragon’s blood, he slowed his aging greatly to the point he is near-immortal as the dragons themselves now. It caused him to grow in size and bulk until he is as big as Dragonsbane and grew red scales over his skin.

But it is his Dragon’s Armor, crafted from an elder dragon, which is his true source of power and masterpiece. The scaled armor is greater than any other armor he has encountered, boosting his strength to god-like levels, his stamina to superhuman levels, and making him as tough to harm as an elder dragon from the Realm. His natural fighting ability and strength of presence are also boosted by the armor.

While wearing the armor he can see and sense like a true dragon, having a sense of smell sharper than a bloodhound’s, able to hear any sound, sense the presence of mind’s near him, and his eyesight can see in any lighting. The leathery wings still function thanks to a powerful enchantment, allowing him to fly as swiftly as a dragon, while the blade-whip-like tail can strike from 20 feet away, slashing into his prey. He can project a cone of deadly dragon’s fire from the palm of the right gauntlet at will, turning all to ash in its path.

Personality: Cold and methodical, Bloodfire always works out all the variables before enacting a plan. He trusts in his intellect, magic, and armor over any kind of gut instinct and sometimes stands in the midst of battle simply analyzing everything before making a move. He is also a megalomaniac who believes he is better than anyone else, seeking to rule over all beings and prove his superiority whenever given the chance.

Known Tactics: Bloodfire will not head into a fight without being informed as much as possible about the location, known and possible opponents for the area, and other variables. When he does dedicate to attack, he takes out stronger opponents with punches capable of leveling mountains or lashing out with the blade-whip tail while standing still. Weaker foes and large groups get hit with dragon’s fire, not caring about collateral damage.

Always make an Investigation check before a fight, to see how much he knows about his opponents or famous locations. He is meticulous and will even stand still in a fight, just hovering as he gauges his opponents’ strengths and weaknesses. For opponents who prove unbeatable by his raw power, he will try out every curse and piece of dark magic he knows till he expends all options. If faced with overwhelming force and numbers, he will slip into the nearest shadows with Dragonsbane and escape to strike another day.

Friends and Allies: His only ally is his bodyguard and aid, Dragonsbane.

Rivals and Enemies: Dragonblade wishes to slay him for what he did to her master; the Freedom League will back her up in any way they can.

Complications
Motivation: He is driven by a need for revenge against all dragons, seeing servitude of him and his kind in the Realm as nothing less than slavery. He also craves power and works with Bloodfire to gain more.
Enemy: Dragonblade and through her, the Freedom League
Hatred: He hates true dragons so much he will go out of his way to kill one, no matter what the risk or what other opponents are around.
Reputation: Due to various strikes to gain supplies around the U.S., he is considered a dangerous criminal willing to use lethal force.
Responsibility: Despite Bloodfire now possessing more raw power than him, he still feels he must protect him as his bodyguard if he is ever to gain enough power to wipe out all true dragons.
Otherworldly: Despite having been on Earth for several years now, he still has a lot to learn about the customs and even laws. Social customs are virtually unknown except those he reads about.

Build Comments: The oldest Dragonkin from the Realm, he resents dragons and any Dragonkin who would willingly serve one. He has thrown his lot in with a power-mad human, yet one with the skills and power to get Dragonsbane what he wants.

History: Born of the will of the dragons within the place that would become the Realm, the 1st Dragonkin were formed from the very elements, meant to be nothing more than slaves, bound to the will of their creators and forced to do their bidding. Yet over time, their hold on their creations began to wane and Rith was the first of his kind to throw off the shackles of the dragons and set out on his own. But his thoughts always turned back to those who created them to be slaves and seethed.

Traveling the Realm and gaining more and more power with each fight, for others saw him and thought him to be nothing more than a brute. But he was smart, cunning, and knew how to gauge his foes’ strengths and weaknesses. It would be many centuries but he would become powerful enough to have revenge on all dragons.

A specter to the dragons of the Realm and those Dragonkin who still willingly served them; a boogeyman who strikes without warning and slays while your guard is down. He earned a new title, Dragonsbane, as he became a threat they couldn't ignore. Hunted by all who knew of his actions, the rare exception being fellow dragon haters in the Realm. Less than 100 years ago his luck turned as he saved a human from an angry mob of Dragonkin, intent on lynching them for taking a dragon's scale without asking.

Rith learned about his new companion, of the curse placed upon him by an elder dragon for the theft of a single coin from its horde, of his plans for revenge on all dragons. Rith became his bodyguard, this human was the perfect pawn for his own plans of revenge. It was decades later, the human sustained by draughts made of dragon's blood when a major step for the ultimate plan happened. Rith lured away the Dragonkin bonded to an elder dragon, giving the human a chance to slay it.

He came back still being chased by the Dragonkin, Daar when the human appeared from his lair wearing armor made from the elder dragon's body. The human declared itself to be Bloodfire, the doom of all dragons. But they were forced to flee from Daar as he still wasn't used to the armor, stumbling through the forest and right through a portal that opened out of nowhere!

In an unknown forest, they took flight and found themselves on the outskirts of a massive city right out of legends in the Realm. Humans at first seemed to be the only lifeform, but soon others he recognized, and new types of beings appeared. And humans with god-like abilities, some flying over the skyline, it was obvious they couldn't simply take over by force.

Knowledge is power and thus Bloodfire decided to bid his time, gathering information about this new world and its people before making his move. Rith, going by his title of Dragonsbane, slunk out into the world, unseen, and began to gather sources of information and supplies, while his “master” began to plot and make various plans to deal with the superhumans of this world. Their foe, dubbed Dragonblade by the people of this world, has gained powerful allies and experience, yet they still stood a chance. With the recent arrival of the pest sister and her boyfriend, plans have to be reworked to take them into account.

Description: Rith is a large Dragonkin with a powerful barrel chest and bulging muscles. His hide is covered in dark green scales; both his hands and feet have large claws, while his mouth is lined with razor-sharp fangs; his eyes are pure red and project aggression, his head having a small frill running down it. He doesn’t need to wear clothes most of the time but likes to wear a simple trench coat most of the time.

Powers & Abilities: One of the original Dragonkin and oldest living one, Dragonsbane has a lot of raw power which even dragons come to fear. Standing 10’ tall and powerfully built, he has superhuman strength able to throw boulders and rend steel with ease. Tougher than a tank, he can weather blows that would kill lesser beings with nary a scratch. He is over 1 thousand years old and it is unknown what the true lifespan is of a Dragonkin. In this time he has experienced a lot, becoming a skilled hunter, tracker, and one of the greatest fighters from the Realm, along with knowledge related to his hated foes, the dragons, and their magic.

His eyes can see in any lighting and easily at night; immune to corrosives of any sort; possesses powerful legs which allow him to make superhuman leaps and run as fast as a car; wields deadly claws and fang capable of tearing apart even the toughest of foes. A rarity among Dragonkin, he has a powerful acidic breath weapon that burns everything in its path, along with a powerful dragon’s roar which can cause lesser foes to flee in terror or cower in fear before his majesty.

Personality: Rith is a bitter individual, driven by rage and a desire for revenge against his own creators. He has self-esteem issues and believes he can never prove his true power until the day the last dragon dies. He keeps himself under control most of the time, acting as a bodyguard for his “master” and errand boy. Yet he has a temper that shows itself, either when harmed in battle or when facing a dragon.

Known Tactics: While on his own, Dragonsbane will slink about unseen and first gauge his foe’s strength, before determining if he should remain hidden or ambush. The first strike is almost always a powerful bite in an attempt to rip his foe asunder; if this fails to drop his foe he will use his breath weapon and hide once again hoping to ambush and finish his foe. If forced to fight in the open he will vary his tactics, more powerful foes he will fight on the defensive, while weaker foes face his full fury.

When faced with a large group of opponents, he unleashes his Roar of the Dragon first, to scare away those too weak-willed and cowardly to be proper foes. He has extensive experience fighting groups, striking, and moving on once a foe has dropped, till a foe survives his first strike or he needs to rest for a moment. When with Bloodfire he will fight defensively and remain near him, shielding him with his own body from any strike and lashing out with deadly strikes to fell those who would harm his meal ticket.

Friends and Allies: New to Earth, Dragonsbane has only one ally, his “master” Bloodfire who uses him as a pawn.

Rivals and Enemies: Dragonblade, Freedom League due to association.

Complications
Motivation: He is a spoiled brat whose parents always let him have his way. He became a bully, especially when others didn’t let him have his way, and now he seeks to bully as many people as possible, fighting alongside his mother
Enemy: Infinity, Kid Sentinel, the Defenders
Infamous: He is known to a lot of people as a destructive superhuman and monster.
Teenager: He is still underage, thus he can’t drink or smoke, or go into certain places, along with the fact he should be in school but hasn’t been since he turned 12.

Build Comments: A spoiled brat who became a bully, his own parents encouraged him to be tough and do what he liked. Gaining superpowers has only made him worse, as he now fights alongside his mom in destructive rampages, always running away before they lose so they won’t get locked up.

History: Clark was born to Frank and Karen Luthor, a pair of bullies who believed that life owed them something, for different reasons. He was spoiled by his mother constantly, while his father taught him to be tough, turning him into a bully just like them. At the age of 4, he found out his dad was stealing tech from various construction jobs he worked. Around 1 year later his mom left his dad, telling Clark that his dad was being selfish and not sharing his new "toys".

Mom and him on their own, Clark barely getting through school without flunking out, his mom trying to hold down a job for more than a month. Visits with his aunt, uncle, and cousin came from time to time, but were always short and almost never pleasant. On their last visit, they got to go to Central Park, hanging outside and while their moms were distracted he could pick on Jeremy.

Suddenly he felt like he was hit by a brick, passing out. He woke up in the hospital, news about an unknown energy wave hit Central Park, everyone had been affected. His mother took him home after their release and for a couple of years that was the last he saw of his aunt or cousin. At the age of 8, he had a sudden growth spurt and gained muscles only seen on older guys. He and his mom had become superhuman powerhouses, now they could teach everyone to fear and respect them!

A rampage in downtown New York with his mom, soon his aunt and cousin showed up in costumes. They were flying, they had powers too, life still wasn't fair! Clark flew into a jealous rage as he tried to put his cousin in traction, but things didn't work out. They did a lot of damage, a whole neighborhood reduced to rubble, but they were subdued, their identities exposed to the public, their powers on record.

Escaping custody, none of their future rematches with Infinity and Kid Sentinal were different, a lot of collateral damage, but always overpowered and forced to flee before other heroes or the authorities could capture them again in their weakened state and lock them up this time. Fighting some members of the Defenders and the New York branch of the Sentinels, they were forced to flee from being outnumbered and outgunned.

When his aunt and cousin moved to Freedom City, Clark thought the odds were finally in their favor. But his mom said they were moving to Freedom City, she wasn't going to let her sister get away. Thus the newest threat to the citizens of Freedom City, along with the most destructive, if not for Doctor Metropolis helping to rebuild after each of their fights it would cost the city hundreds of millions a month. With Infinity joining the Freedom League the odds got even worse. But Clark knew it wouldn't always be this way, they would get the upper hand one of these days.

Description: Clark is an attractive young man with a muscular build, rippling with power. He has a healthy tan and the only visible scar being on his lower right cheek. He keeps his black hair short and mussed, while his blue eyes show cruelty and temper strong for his age. He always wears a muscle shirt, black or gray, a black pair of jeans, a tough pair of tennis shoes, and a brown leather jacket.

Powers & Abilities: Kid Crusher is a powerhouse, able to hit with enough force to dent titanium and wreck tanks easily. He is capable of lifting massive objects, as well as throwing even tanks up to a quarter of a mile. He is capable of leaping upward of 100 feet or running at up to 60 mph, few can escape his grasp. He can cut loose and nothing can resist the force he unleashes when doing so, or slam the ground and create a destructive shockwave.

He possesses superhuman stamina and invulnerability to the point it takes just short of tank shells to harm him. And just hitting him is a bad idea, as it is like hitting a solid iron wall. He doesn’t care about collateral damage and is known to lift up and throw anything from manhole covers and chunks of concrete to semi-trucks and buses as weapons.

Personality: Clark is a bully, raised to always expect to get his own way and that only the tough survive. He pushes others around in any way he can, intimidating them with threats and physical shows of strength. He only truly cares about his mom, doing anything she asks and protecting her with his life.

Known Tactics: Like his mother, Kid Crusher seeks to cause as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time. Smashing up streets, cars, buildings, anything is a target on one of their rampages. When facing superheroes, he will tag-team with his mom to first take out any threats that can actually harm them, leaving the wimps for later. He never holds out, striking with as much power as possible while still having a chance to hit his foe, crushing all who oppose him. When working alongside his mom, Miss Disaster, he does whatever she says to and he will lash out at anyone who actually harms her.

Complications
Motivation: She is driven by a need to bully others, both to gain attention and make them respect and fear her. She also has developed a love of causing random destruction, seeing the fear in others’ eyes brings a rush to her.
Enemy: Infinity, Kid Sentinel, The Defenders, The Sentinels, The Freedom League
Infamous: She is known to a lot of people as a destructive superhuman and monster.
Hatred: She hates her sister with a passion and will ignore all other foes to take her on.
Temper: When taunted about her intelligence or compared to her sister.

Build Comments: Bully since she was young, she now uses her powers to bully the world and revel in causing destruction. She doesn’t have the versatility of her sister, Infinity, but has more raw destructive power.

History: Karen was a happy little girl, at least for the first 2 years of her life. Till her little sister, Danielle, was born. She was jealous of all the attention Danielle got, taking attention away from her. To the point, she became obsessed at an early age with tormenting her to pay her back. She verbally abused her sister from the moment she could walk and talk, always putting her down and trying to break her. It backfired, big time.

Danielle simply tried harder to get her sister to like her and applied herself in school. Eventually, in high school, she found her perfect match, Frank Luthor. A guy who was buff, attractive, and as big a bully as she was. Thus she took to spend as much time with him as possible, sneaking out and going to parties she was forbidden from at every chance. While her sister went off to college, she was already married.

It would be several years before young Clark was born, taking more after his mother than his father. She spoiled him rotten and he came to expect to get his way, bullying others when he didn’t; along with his father teaching him to be tough, this resulted in their son being a huge brat and bully. Karen was shocked when she discovered her husband was stealing tech using his construction jobs as a cover. At first, she looked up to him, living vicariously through his stories. But soon her jealousy got to her once more and she couldn’t stand his refusal to share his "toys".

So when young Clark was just 5 years old, she divorced him and got custody of Clark, Frank's crimes were brought out in the open and he fled. For years she would only visit her sister, along with her new brother-in-law and nephew, to try and keep the peace for their mother’s sake. It was on one of those visits, on a trip out to Central Park, where fate seemed to step in. For when the “Gene Pulse” knocked them out, it set in motion a series of events that would change all their lives forever.

After this incident she kept her distance from her sister and her family, focusing all her attention on Clark and keeping a job for more than a month. So it came as a bit of a shock 2 years later when she suddenly grew several inches and filled out with muscles. She accidentally leveled a building when she staggered back into it, her strength beyond anything she ever imagined. Now she could teach her sister a lesson she would never forget. It came as little news when Clark had a similar transformation and they took up the names Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher, going on a rampage in downtown New York.

This backfired big time, as her own sister and nephew showed up, somehow with no disguises and not recognized by anyone but them. Yet flying and possessing powers to rival their own! It was a knockdown, drag-out fight that left an entire city block in ruins before the two were subdued, only escaping custody later. It would be the first of many fights between them.

Recently her sister was relocated by her work to Freedom City; her son thought they would have free reign in New York with only the Sentinels, The Defenders, and a few local heroes to deal with. But no, she wouldn’t let her sister get away from her that easily. Thus they moved as well, following her sister and continuing to cause them trouble.

Description: Karen is a buff woman, with muscles most female bodybuilders would have to work for, yet still feminine in appearance. She keeps her black hair short, so as not to get in the way during a fight, and her blue eyes show cruelty honed over years.

She never wears a disguise and is normally seen in her trademark white sleeveless muscle shirt, the bottom half torn off to show her abs, a pair of black jeans with suspender straps to hold them up, a pair of black gloves, and tough black combat boots.

Powers & Abilities: Miss Disaster is a powerhouse, able to hit with enough force to crush titanium and tear apart superalloys. She is capable of lifting entire buildings, tearing them from the ground. She is capable of leaping upward of 250 feet or running at up to 120 mph, few can escape her grasp. She can cut loose and nothing can resist the force she unleashes when doing so, able to slam the ground and create destructive shockwave and plow through anything, only being slowed down but never stopped.

She possesses superhuman stamina and invulnerability to the point it takes weapons stronger than tank shells to harm her. And just hitting her is a bad idea, as it is like hitting a solid iron wall. She doesn’t care about collateral damage and is known to lift up and throw anything from manhole covers and chunks of concrete to semi-trucks and buses as weapons.

Personality: Karen is abrasive and cruel, tearing apart others verbally as much as she does physically. She has been a natural bully from a young age, jealous of the attention her younger sister got and obvious intelligence which she herself lacked. But her transformation caused her to extend this bullying nature to more than verbal, striking out at the world to force them to respect her. The only individual she cares about is her son, Clark, who she dotes on and spoils every chance she can get.

Known Tactics: She seeks to cause as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time. When first starting a rampage, she will smash up the street and anything within reach. When forced to face superheroes, she hits them with everything she has, using brutal tactics and cheap shots, including chokeholds, to take them out. She doesn’t even care if she kills them or not, as long as she wins. When working alongside her son, Kid Crusher, she will watch his back and anyone who targets him will face her full fury.

Friends and Allies: Kid Crusher [son]

Rivals and Enemies: Infinity [sister], Kid Sentinel [niece]; The Sentinels, The Defenders, The Freedom League

Some very nice additions to the rest of your builds. Glad to see the character creator apparently sank it's teeth into you. :D

Serpent People of Earth-7

Post by Psistrike »

Serpent People of Earth-7
2 million years ago the Serpent People were exposed to a chunk of a meteorite that radiates an unknown form of energy, mutating them and gifting them with magical abilities. The ultimate expression of reptilian life, with the innate ability to perceive mystical forces, they master science, and magic as well as build the mighty empire of Lemuria.

For a million years they lived in peace until cultists worshiping the Outsider known as the Unspeakable One as a god began to rise in Lemuria. Their leaders tried to combat them, force them out, discredit them, and find ways to block off any contact between them and the Unspeakable One. Their society became divided, those who sought power outside the normal channels began to flock to the cult, while others feared the price such power came at.

In less than 500 years the cultists had gained twisted powers from their 'god' and rose up in force. Those who refused to join were forced to flee from their home in Lemuria; some went into space and found their own empire; others found new dimensions linked to Earth to live in, and new societies; while the most desperate of them fled into the sea, evolving over time, and becoming known as Nagas.

The Severing, a dark ritual performed by the Serpent People of Lemuria intended to open the universe to their master the Unspeakable One, and let more Outsiders into the universe, is disrupted by the forces of Atlantis and the Courts of Earth, but the fallout devastates both sides. The Serpent People of Lemuria are forced to flee into the other-dimensional realm linked to Earth called the Underrealm.

The survivors of Lemuria are known in the modern age as the Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign. Most other Serpent People will have nothing to do with them and some will try to kill them on sight.

Known Serpent People societies in setting
Space: The Haud are descendants of those Serpent People who fled to space, losing their magical abilities in exchange for physical and psychic abilities. They sought a purpose and their psychic abilities gave them one. The ability to sense Outsiders, their minions, their creations, and any affected by their twisted magic and science. They would not let it destroy another civilization again, they wouldn't let it spread.

Thus any planet they found with Outsiders on or their influence even if just lingering they would conquer, making them part of the Haud Empire, those who tried to resist were enslaved as they already proved too weak in resisting the Outsiders and their influence to be left to their own devices. Their encounter with Earth and subsequent attempts at conquering it have failed time and time. Jade Naga is the leader of their forces on Earth.

Complications
Haud Soldier: They are owned by the Haud Empire, must follow the orders of their superiors, or else, and are humanoid snakes and alien invaders that humans know of, both hating and fearing them. Out in the universe, they are known as the foot soldiers of a ruthless empire of conquerors and enslavers.
Cold-Blooded: They are vulnerable to any cold-based attack, and while exposed to intense or greater they lose all their movement powers, regeneration, and senses along with their Strength and Stamina dropping to 3 each.
Outsider Hunters: Haud, whether drone-soldier clones or born nobles have an instinctive ability to sense Outsiders, their minions, creations, and anyone or thing affected by them. They feel driven to hunt down such beings and things above any other threat or concern when they sense them.

Haud drone-soldiers are clones without several of the abilities born noble Haud possess such as chameleonic ability, limited mind control, a euphoric toxin in their bite, and telepathic communication with other Haud within just over 3k feet.

Earth's Oceans: The Nagas are descendants of the Serpent People who fled into the ocean, their bodies and nature adapting to their new environment. They are neutral towards surface dwellers and will only react to hostile or destructive actions in kind. They have a small kingdom of their own but aren't part of Atlantis or its politics, though will come to their neighbor's aid when needed.

They can have scales of virtually any color. Their upper bodies are similar to humans though their arms tend to be slightly longer, while their lower bodies are like that of a python. Their faces are like a mixture of humans and snakes to various degrees for each individual. Fully amphibious, they can heal from wounds in seconds and even the average citizen is very strong. They retained their ability to see magic and are taught about magic from an early age.

Down with Lemurians!: They can instinctively sense any Serpent People descended from those who took over Lemuria and will attack them on sight.

Other Dimensions: There are many other dimensions to which groups of Serpent People fled from Lemuria when the cultists took over. Their cultures vary, but all hate those descended from the usurpers of Lemuria. Stats can be almost identical to members of the Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign to almost alien to their ancestors.

Complications
Haud Admiral: Despite being an Admiral of the Haud Imperial Army, he still has superiors to follow though none have shown up on Earth yet and is infamous as the leader of the Haud invaders. Despite his appearance, his orders mean no civilians not affected by anything connected to an Outsider or its minions will be unharmed if not outright protected from such foes.
Cold-Blooded: He is vulnerable to any cold-based attack, and while exposed to intense cold or greater he loses all his movement powers, regeneration, and senses along with his Strength and Stamina dropping to 3 each.
Outsider Hunters: Haud, whether drone-soldier clones or born nobles have an instinctive ability to sense Outsiders, their minions, creations, and anyone or thing affected by them. They feel driven to hunt down such beings and things above any other threat or concern when they sense them. Jade Naga can suppress this urge, but doing so leaves him impaired while doing so.

Build Comments: Jade Naga from Silver Age Sentinels adapted to Earth-7 for some new abilities due to the changes to the Haud Empire's history.

History: Zin'Ser Jahn of the Firth Ring was known as the most skilled warrior of the Haud Empire. Born to the noble Jahn family, he excelled as a military strategist and lead many hunts for Outsiders and their minions in the nearby star systems. Although he helped conquer worlds he was taught it was to keep them from falling under the influence of any Outsiders again.

A new threat from a powerful Outside came to the homeworld, and Zin'Ser faced it with a force of thousands driving it off-world. But their instinctive drive to hunt down Outsiders saw to Zin'Ser and his remaining forces follow it into the depths of space. A tear through space opened in the path of the Outsider and pulled Zin'Ser's warship in behind it, only to open up close to a world he had never seen before and causing them to plummet through the atmosphere and crash.

Zin'Ser awoke to find a world populated by pale-skinned, scaleless creatures. He quickly adapted and learned the primitive language of the native, finding out it was 1920 by their local calendar. Their technology was far less advanced than the Haud's, he would have to wait for their technology to catch up to his own before he could repair his ship. With his crashed ship, hidden in the depth of the Rocky Mountains, the cloning tanks still functional, he would build up his army and hunt the Outsiders infesting this world.

Over the past century, he has clashed with numerous superheroes and authorities from nations the world over. No matter how many soldier drones he loses he can always clone more. But this world, this Earth, must be made a part of the Haud Empire and purged of all Outsiders and their influence at all cost!

Description: Jade Naga is an alien with a powerful build and appearance like a humanoid snake, a hood like a king cobra, taloned hands and feet, a strong tail, and the mark of the house of Jahn on his forehead. His eyes are pure black and show no emotion except fury or cold anger most of the time.

Powers & Abilities: Jade Naga is one of the most powerful of Haud Nobles, at least when he left his homeworld over a century ago. He has the superhuman strength and stamina of a Haud Noble honed by over a century of regular combat. Haud Nobles are able to live for over 1k years, immune to poisons, requiring little oxygen, and with a lessened need for food, drink, or sleep. A hide tough enough to turn away low-caliber firearms easily, the ability to regenerate rapidly, and superhuman movement and senses make for a deadly opponent already.

He can blend into his environment becoming near-invisible; has deadly fangs that carry a poison that drains the mental abilities of his victims; a powerful, but limited, form of mind control; and can sense Outsiders from thousands of miles away and is immune to their powers except for raw physical force.

His intellect shouldn't be underestimated; he is a genius and master of manipulation of biology, he perfected the art of cloning soldier drones, and he has knowledge of how to build nearly any Haud technology from around 100 years ago when needed and with the right supplies.

Personality: Zin'Ser is coldly logical and determined, a commander who stands with his troops at the frontlines. He rarely shows any emotions, letting his actions speak for themselves. Only when dealing with Outsiders, their minions, or those under their influence does this change; he shows a fury like a berserker, unleashing everything he has upon his people's hated foes.

Known Tactics: Jade Naga will plot and plan before striking, even fighting against his racial instinct to hunt Outsiders if it means securing victory. He will first send out soldier drones to either gather supplies or root out hidden Outsiders before joining the fray. Using his Chameleon power he will slink around the edge of a fight, watching for the greatest threat and then hitting it from ambush with his fangs. Hit-and-ran tactics, strike, and dodge, tactics he honed first in the arena of his homeworld.

Friends and Allies: The only known allies of Jade Naga are his soldier drones, even the villains of Earth consider him a threat to their plans since he is the vanguard for an invading force that plans to take over "for the natives own good".

Rivals and Enemies: Too many to list, but he holds no grudges towards most. Only Outsiders, their minions, and any under their influence does he consider true enemies to hunt down and end for good.

Re: Psistrike's M&M 3rd ed Characters and Creations

I've realized the major source of my writer's block with Earth-7 stuff. I made Freedom City/Earth-Prime from Green-Ronin the base for the setting and trying to conform to everything in there instead of using the bits and pieces I like is too much. Removed the note in Psistrike's Earth-7 Details about it being the base for the setting and replaced that with this:
It will use characters, etc. from various RPG settings, and numerous other media mixed together, but no one will be the base the others must adapt to. All will have changes made to them for how Earth-7 works or be reimagined entirely for the setting.
I removed time travel from the setting and replaced the entry with this:
• Time travel: Due to an event in the ancient past of Earth time travel no longer works. Any attempts to travel to the past or future always result in ending up in an alternate reality where it appears to be that time period. Still, it is actually a different present from the reality you came from.

The event in the past did cause some issues that can affect the present. These include time storms, random storms of raw temporal energy that appear in the universe for a few short seconds before dissipating.

And while time travel itself isn't possible the ability to affect time on a localized level is. Freezing time has been seen on the largest scale as to stop time completely within a city the size of New York for an hour. An event that was done by supervillain Timestop when he targeted the mayor for reasons unknown.

Scans have shown for some strange reason the Universe is constantly expanding, there seems to be no end to time itself, no heat death of the universe. This is considered the strangest aspect of Earth-7.
I've also realized posting a setting history felt like forcing myself to conform to everything in there instead of adjusting things as ideas for the setting change and adapting as I post stuff. So it has been removed, only to be referenced by myself as needed and changed when I wish without retconning stuff already posted in the thread. Hopefully, all this will help me break my writer's block.

Freedom City entry

Post by Psistrike »

Freedom City
This Freedom City is a lot like the Freedom City of the Earth-Prime universe, yet there are many things different at the same time. Omega and the Terminus don't exist to plague Earth-7 or any other realities that branch off from it. So what brought the Centurion to Earth-7? He was sent as a baby and has no idea why.

If there was no Terminus Invasion why did Freedom City have to rebuild after an incident in 1993 in which Centurion died? The Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign succeeded in opening a portal to grant the Unspeakable One access to Earth. Centurion fought off the Unspeakable One to keep him from fully entering the Earthly plane. The heroes won, and the Unspeakable One was banished back through the portal it tried to enter, but the strain of the extended fight with a being of its magnitude was too much for the Centurion.

These are just the most obvious differences. More exist if you know where to look.

Notable Heroes
The Freedom League: The iconic team has its entry, having expanded over the years into a true league.

The Monster Squad: AEGIS's unit of the strange, unusual, and different who deal with the creations of mad scientists, and others who create new forms of life or change existing beings into strange ones. Not everyone in Freedom City trusts them due to their appearances, yet all know they have helped save the city and even the world more than once.

Notable Villains
Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher: The mother-son duo have made a name for themselves in Freedom City as the most destructive and reckless supervillains Freedom City has ever seen. Their fights against Infinity and Kid Sentinel are always front-page news.

Bloodfire and Dragonsbane: Foes of Dragonblade from the Realm, these two plan before acting, but when they do it is always with immense power and no regard for the safety of anyone but themselves.

The Crime League: Although suffering some recent losses the Crime League has expanded like their heroic counterparts into a true league. And they are more concerned with profits than revenge.
