... two and a half months is not shortly enough, trust me.

In comparison to five years...
two and a half months doesn't sound so bad.

And I strongly recommend reading the short stories collections. They do fill in a lot of details in the new novel.

I wasn't aware of that, good thing I'd gotten that as a present and just hadn't had time to read it yet. Guess I'll use the two & a half months to get that read.

Brief Cases and Side Jobs are both good collections of short stories that fill in a bit of the inbetween in the stories

So, without spoilers:

Is it worth reading this RIGHT NOW, or should I just wait until September for Battle Ground?

I will say that they end the book at a very tense point. Maybe not a cliff hanger but a things are 'about to get immediately serious' point. Along with that, Peace Talks isn't an entire story by itself.

So yeah, you might be better off holding for another month.

How did you watch the last two Avengers movies?

Man, Battleground was just non-stop action, while still adding in development and emotion. Butcher did a hell of a job. Now let's hope we won't ever have to wait 5 years again.
