About: Mr. Brave is a backgrounder pro hero who appeared a few times throughout the series, and seems to be a pretty capable fighter and hero. His quirk, Hair-Raiser, allows him to freely reshape and harden strands of his hair, even when they are removed from his body, a power he uses to create tools and weaponry, like swords made out of hardened hair he uses for fighting.

Mr. Brave appears sporadically throughout the series pretty much any time a big group of heroes is involved in an operation, first appearing as part of Sir Nighteye's raid team during the Shie Hassaikai arc, where he was shown fighting off a bunch of yakuza goons as the heroes started their assault, and later appears during the Paranormal Liberation Front arc, where he is among the heroes raiding Jaku City's hospital to try to locate Shigaraki and apprehend Dr. Ujiko, and he is among the lucky heroes who managed to escape and survive after Shigaraki awoke and powered his quirk up. He hasn't really appeared since, kind of wonder if he retired after the Paranormal Liberation War, since he hasn't appeared in the last showdown against All For One's forces.

I like Mr. Brave. He has a pretty interesting quirk and design, with a headpiece that reminds me of All Might and Crust, which kind of makes me wonder if they are meant as direct tribute to All Might or something. If that's the case, it would be pretty cool to see him interact with him or with Midoriya.

Buildwise, Mr. Brave is a PL 7.5 weapon fighter, but has a pretty versatile power, since he can make any sort of tool with his hair, having a small amount of ranks in variable. I also added a feature where he can change his haircut at will for flavor, since I assume that's something he can do with his quirk.

Outfits: Mr Brave wears a dark blue bodysuit with a tattered red cape. He also wears small golden shoulder pads, a belt and boots, as well as his iconic golden headpiece, that covers most of his upper face, but leaves his hair exposed so he can use his quirk.

About: Starting out the set of movie-only hero builds, Cow Lady was a pretty capable pro hero in LA back when All Might was in college. Her quirk, Cow, allows her to transform into a huge cow-like form with large horns and immense strength, which makes her an extremely strong hero.

She first appears together in Elecplant to stop the Red and Blue villains from robbing a casino, jumping off a nearby building to ambush them, as she charged ahead to attack them while Elecplant blasted them with electricity from afar. The two villains managed to escape, however, but just as they were about to attack civilians, All Might and David Shield arrived, defeating the villains.

Cow Lady has a pretty cool design, with the cowboy motif and the tinted shades. Really solid for a one-off character. Kind of wonder if she's still active as a hero nowadays like Elecplant is.

This build is pretty speculative, considering how little we know about her, so I got to get creative and have a lot of fun with it. I used a lot of Jab's bull builds as reference to determine her Ability Scores, Skills and Advantages, and I'm pretty satisfied with how it ended up. She lands at PL 9, not exceptionally strong, as she doesn't seem to be a top ranking hero or anything, but still really capable.

Outfits: Cow Lady wears a cowboy themed outfit consisting of denim shorts with a brown belt with a large cow skull golden buckle, a pair of leather knee-high heeled boots, an orange tied shirt with a small denim vest and a pair of leather gloves, as well as a cowboy hat behind her neck and her orange tinted visor.

: Elecplant’s quirk seems to allow him to generate and emit electrical energy from his body. This could suggest that there is a limit to how much energy he can generate, weakening his attacks with time, though what that could be based on is unknown. If he is encased with insulants, or otherwise drained of his ability to generate electricity, his attacks will also weaken.

About: Another movie original hero, tho this one also cameos on the main series, Elecplant is an American pro hero who's been active for a long time. His quirk, Electricity Generation, allows him to produce electricity from his body and emit it as powerful discharges and blasts, a power that makes him a very powerful ranged fighter.

Elecplant first appeared in the flashback at the start of the first movie, together with Cow Lady, as the two arrive to stop the L.A. villain duo. Elecplant blasts the blue villain with an electricity attack, slowing the villains down, but after the two are distracted by the red villain's quirk, All Might, who was an exchange student at the time, had to arrive at the scene to stop the villains.

Since then, Elecplant has appeared in group shots every time international heroes show up, including being at I-Island during the events of the first movie, and fighting off Humarise in the U.S. in the third movie, but most notably, appearing as a silhouette after the Paranormal Liberation Front arc in the main series after Japan mentioned requiring help from the international hero ommunity.

All of this is pretty interesting, as it suggests Elecplant has been active as a hero for a LONG time! Even longer than All Might himself, as he was already acting as a pro hero back when All Might was still in college in a flashback that took place more than 30 years before the current point of the main series (which would mean that, if we are being generous and assuming he was a rookie hero on his early or mid 20's during the fight against the red and blue villains, he would, at the very least, be on his late 50s, if not more)! Alternatively, maybe Elecplant is a legacy hero and someone took his mantle at some point, and the Elecplant at the later movies is actually "Elecplant II", which could also be pretty interesting.

This is a relatively simple build, meant to represent him during the flashback against the L.A. villain duo, with him as a powerful PL 10 blaster with PL 8-ish defenses. He is kind of a better version of Kaminari, where he can use his powers with more variety and not burn himself out immediately after using a powerful attack, LOL.

Outfits: Elecplant wears a black bodysuit with detailing that glows bright yellow as his electricity flows through it, as well as a red cape with yellow detailing. He has two yellow antennae similar to lightning bolts over his ears and has two lightning bolt designs over his face. He also wears white boots and gloves.

About: Godzillo is a powerful and very popular kaiju-themed pro hero who moved from Japan to the USA at some point. His quirk, Toho, grants him reptile-like features, as well as allowing him to absorb radiation and photosynthesis, but most importantly, allows him to grow to size of a large building and shoot energy beams from his mouth, a power that makes him an extremely powerful hero.

Not much is known about Godzillo's history, aside from him starting his career out in Japan, but moving to the US at some point. He cameos during the first movie, where he is seen walking about I-Island and smiling to his fans, and also appears in groupshots during the third movie.

Godzillo is a VERY obvious Godzilla reference, from the name of his quirk to his design, and of course the joke about him moving from Japan to America, which is probably a nod to the 2014 Legendary Pictures Godzilla movie. His official bio states that he is 4 meters tall when not on his giant form, but since he was shown to be normal sized when he appeared in groupshots in the third movie, I decided to ignore that. I guess the studio didn't do their homework properly, LOL. Oh, also, his voice is credited to Godzilla, since Toho used voice samples of the kaiju for Godzillo, which I find pretty fun.

For this build, I took a lot of liberties since we don't know much about this character, like giving him Atomic Breath attacks, immunity to radiation attacks, enhanced senses and the ability to survive underwater, since those are all things associated with Godzilla. I kind of wanted him to be a slightly lower power level, since it's unclear if he is that big a deal as a pro hero or not, but it's kind of hard to do that for a build with ridiculous growth ranks, so he ended up at PL 12, making him a very powerful and bulky fighter. I took some heavy inspiration from Jab's Godzilla builds for this one, so thanks for that, Jab, LOL.

Outfits: Godzillo's hero costume seems to be specially made to change sizes with him. It consists of a tattered high collared white jacket with red flame designs, large white pants with the same red flame patterns and a large stylized golden belt. He also wears spikes and claw designs over his large clawed feet.

About: Another movie-only hero, Nyikang is a Sudanese pro hero who fights with a large blade and a suit of armor. His quirk, Spirit Possession, allows him to covert his consciousness and willpower into "Spiritual Energy", and he can use it to take control of his enemy's body, tho he leaves his body vulnerable when doing so.

Like most other movie original heroes, Nyikang only really appears on cameos, showing up a couple of times walking around I-Expo during the first movie. I've seen people say that he was on the third movie, but I personally couldn't locate him there if so.

Nyikang seems awesome and it's a huge shame we learn nothing about him, from his cool armor and sword to his very interesting power. There's just something very appealing about him and the whole "mystical swordsman" archetype. The name "Nyikang" is in reference to South Sudanese mythology, as their lineage of kings ascends to the throne only after receiving the blessing of Nyikang, the Divine King and God. I would have loved to see him in action, and especially to get a clearer explanation as to what "Spiritual Energy" means, LOL.

For this build, again, had to get very speculative due to his limited screentime. I ended up going for a very basic PL 9-ish armored swordsman build, but with a powerful PL 10 possession attack as a last resort. I gave him fairly high Will, due to the whole "spiritual energy" thing. As a final note, I ended up just noting his sword as a "Large Sword" since I can't get a clear and straight answer as to what kind of sword it is. Most common answer I've seen is that it is a kaskara, but I'm pretty uninformed on Sudanese weaponry, and the images I've seen of kaskaras seem really different from Nyikang's sword (mainly that his blade seems to be curved and has dents near the base, is longer and has a very different grip and guard), so if someone more informed than me on this topic has a clearer answer so I can correct the build, I'd appreciate it. : D

Outfits: Nyikang's hero outfit is a very stylized metal armor, with gauntlets and a metal mask. He also wears a red and gold piece of cloth around his waist, and seems to be wearing a dark bodysuit covering his entire body beneath them.

About: A powerful pro hero from Greece, Pankration seems to be a friendly and capable hero. His quirk, Power, grants him enormous strength, making him extremely resilient and very strong.

Pankration is seen at I-Island during the first movie, like many other international pro heroes, and is taken as hostage by Wolfram and his men after they crash the party and take the island hostage. He also appears in the third movie, raiding Humarise's bases along with the other pros.

Pankration seems fine, if somewhat boring. I wouldn't object to him gaining more screentime, but compared to the other movie-original characters, he seems kind of uninteresting, especially due to how boring and generic his powers are. Interestingly, a lot of people, including the Hero Academia wiki, cite his quirk as the same one Midoriya's super strength comes from (as it has been referred to in the series as "Super Power" or "Power" a couple of times), but there isn't really definitive evidence of this. If that's the case tho, really a shame he and Midoriya didn't hang out at some point, could lead to some interesting character moments and dialogue. Pankration is named after the ancient Greek fighting sport of the same name, which was an empty-handed fight that had very few rules. In Greek "Pankration" comes from "Pan Kratos", which could be roughly translated as "All Might" as well, which is a detail I always found very neat, but also kind of doubt was intentional.

This is a very simple "Tough Guy" kind of build, at PL 9 and with an equal Parry and Toughness and high unarmed damage. Very boring build otherwise.

Outfits: Pankration's hero costume is a red sleeveless chest piece with a white going over his shoulders and wrapping around his neck, combined with a white knee-length skirt, giving him a visual similar to a toga. He wears a brown belt with a gold buckle, a pair of golden vambraces on his arms, and a pair of sandals that wrap around his legs.

About: Takahiro is another background movie original hero, appearing on I-Island during the events of the first movie. His quirk, Eagle, grants him the appearance and abilities of an eagle, like sharp talons, powerful wings that allow him to fly at high speeds and powerful sight.

Takahiro is pretty interesting, as he is another Horikoshi character that originally came from his previous work, Oumagadoki Zoo. When Hawks first appeared, Horikoshi mentioned that his original plan was for Takahiro to play his role, but since the staff for the first movie had asked him to use his design for a background character first, he ended up having to come up with a new character to fit that role, which, overall, I consider to be a positive, as I personally think Hawks has a much cooler design and concept than Takahiro.

It's kind of amazing how little we know about Takahiro in the Hero Academia universe, as we don't even know what country he is from. It's a neat easter egg for the movie staff to have wanted to include a character from a previous Horikoshi work tho. His name of Takahiro is supposed to be ironic, both in his original appearance in Ougamadoki Zoo and in Hero Academia, as "Taka" means hawk, but the character is a golden eagle, which is kind of funny.

I did Takahiro as a much weaker version of Hawks, having good split melee attacks, good dodge and parry, great senses and amazing mobility, but not being quite as good as Hawks in any of those, and lacking his ability to manipulate his feathers from afar and stuff, landing Takahiro at PL 7.5, over 4 PLs lower than the number 2 Japanese hero.

Outfits: Takahiro's hero costume is an open black vest, big blakc parachute pants, a red belt, a pair of tall boots and a pair of black headphones. Pretty cool getup, all things considered.

Interesting that Pankration has one of the most "Standard Marvel & DC" power-sets out there. Just a big, strong guy who trained himself to fight. This comes off as dull in a world where the creator goes out of his way to stat up the most unique, weird things possible (Girl With Headphone Jacks in Her Ears! The Speedster Actually Has Engines In His Ankles!) but is a really solid basic power with no extra learning required :). Though in a world in which Limit Break super-moves are the norm, it has its own disadvantages.

It's interesting that the creator included some of the characters from his prior manga- did the success of MHA lead to a big boost for his older work as well? I know Akira Toriyama never quite seemed to have a resurgence in Doctor Slump stuff after Dragon Ball Z hit big, as far as I know, but I sometimes figure it must be like when an artist hits big in Marvel & DC and people seek out his old work.

Not really, as far as I can tell? Most of the discussion I've seen surrounding Oumagadoki Zoo has been by western Hero Academia fans, and don't think there's much interest in it aside from that context. Ultimately, I feel like its legacy kind of ended up being as a failed previous work that gets referenced by the creative staff of Hero Academia a bunch.

About: Clair Voyance is an intelligent, calculated and extremely perceptive pro hero from Otheon, excelling in locating villains and items of interest even when far away from them. Her quirk, Voyance, allows her to do this, as it allows her see through inorganic matter, making it extremely useful for locating other people, and makes her an extremely good support asset for hero teams.

Clair appears in the third movie, being a local Otheon hero and helping with the hunt for Humarise. After the heroes spread out across the world to try to locate their bases, Clair invites Endeavor and his interns to operate from her agency so communication between them and the internation pro heroes would be easier. After Midoriya is framed and goes on the run with Rody Soul, Clair helps Todoroki figure out the code Midoriya had sent, telling about his plans to go to Klayd, which allowed for Todoroki and Bakugo to join the pair later, showing herself to be good at analysis and puzzle solving. At the end of the movie, Clair is essential in tracking down the bombs spread throughout the city, and helps the fight against Humarise's acolytes.

Clair is kinda meh to me, mostly because of how most of the promotional material for the movie built her up as an important character for the plot, like with the other original pro heroes from the third movie, but that ended up not being the case, which kind of sucks. As it stands, she just seems kind of boring, not really showing a lot of emotion and being cold at all times, which kind of sucks because her quirk is pretty cool.

Clair Voyance is PL 8, excelling at ranged combats and using an energy gun as a means of attack. Considered doing the whole can't see through organic matter part of her quirk as a limited or a quirk, but it's so minor it felt more like a complication.

Outfits: Clair's hero costume is a blue bodysuit with short sleeves, buttons and an open chest, under which she wears a white shirt with a high collar. She has her energy gun holstered on her hip, wears thigh-high black boots and wears a pair of blue tinted shades. Very cool look, like some kind of sci-fi cop or something!

About: This unnamed pro hero with compound eyes and small antennae on her head (whom I'm dubbing "Lady Bee" for simplicity) shows up quite a few times throughout the movies, even getting a fight scene in the third one. Her unnamed quirk, which I'm calling "Sharp Nail", seems to allow her to transform her nails into long sharp stinger-like bright red nails, and even allows her to detach and shoot them at will, allowing her to fight her enemies with her claws, as well as blast it at them.

She appears in the first movie, being present when the pro heroes on I-Island are taken hostage by Wolfram. She then appears in the third movie, assisting the other pros on their attack against Humarise's bases, and is shown taking out a lot of acolytes with her quirk.

I have a vivid memory of there once being a wiki page for her that claimed her official name was "X", but that page seems to have been taken down and I can't really find any citation for that, so I decided to give this character a temporary name. I dig the whole bee aesthetic. As much as I hate bugs and bug-like monsters and stuff, there is something really cool about a person with antennae and compound eyes, just a really neat visual.

Lady Bee has PL 8.5 attacks and a PL 8 defense, making her a pretty decent striker who is able to attack pretty effectively from afar as well. I considered giving her ranged attack Multiattack, as she is shown using it on multiple Acolytes, but after asking about it on the Echoes Discord server, Squirrelly convinced me that it's not really fitting for this kind of stuff, so I opted to give her Takedown instead.

Outfits: Lady Bee's costume is bee themed, featuring a black, white and yellow sleeveless dress with thick fur around her neck, a pair of round black and yellow striped vambraces with black sleeves, thigh-high white socks with red hexagon patterns on top and a pair of white shoes.

About: Another unnamed character from the movies (whom I'm naming "Maestro"), this une showing up on a lot of background shots during the first movie and shown defeating members of Humarise on the third. His quirk, which I named "Hypnotic Music", allows him to produce orchestral music from his body by emulating the movements of musical instruments, manifesting it as floating musical notes and scores. His music is also able to put others to sleep, which allows him to easily deal with groups of enemies.

Maestro is first show in the first movie using his quirk in I-Island, as musical notes were dancing around him in front of a crowd. He is later kidnapped by Wolfram along with the other heroes. On movie three, he is a part of the initial Humarise base raid, and helps fight the acolytes.

I like Maestro's concept, as an older man with orchestral clothes and stuff. His quirk is really interesting, would be cool to see him in action more.

He ended up with a defensive PL of 6, not really seeming to be that good in an actual fight, but having very strong powers that allow him to neutralize threats at minimum risk. I also added a feature to his quirk to allow him to just play non-hypnotic music since that's a thing he's shown doing. I also made his quirk having Check Required, since I assume it would require its user to have skills as a musician, but that was more of a flavor choice than anything, since I gave him enough ranks in Expertise (Music) and Skill Mastery with that. I took inspiration from my Bard builds for my fantasy setting for this aspect of his powers.

Outfits: Maestro wears orange and red orchestral clothes with designs themed around violins. He also wears social shoes and white gloves.
