Complications
- Disability: Yelena is unable to have children of her own due to the gruesome nature of the graduation ceremony at the Red Room Academy.
- Enthralled: As a member of Red Room’s elite Black Widow Corps, Yelena is one of the helpless thralls in service to General Dreykov. However, this form of mind control is a lucid one, where Yelena and others like her are fully aware of what they are being forced to do. Furthermore, it can be disrupted in a number of ways, such as the Liberamens spell.
- Motivation: Dreamer: Yelena likes to conjure up grand plans for her escape from Dreykov, even while knowing that they are unlikely to ever come to fruition. With that said, the day that she secures her freedom, is also the day on which she believes she'll be able to return to a normal life.
- Obnoxious: Instead of outright agreeing with one of Dreykov's plans, Yelena will always give her two Kopeks worth of input.
- Relationships: The only people who Yelena fully trusts are the members of her foster family, Natasha Romanoff, the cool older sister, Alexei Shostakov, the responsible father, and Melina Vostokoff, the nurturing mother. The fact that her foster father is in prison, and that her foster mother is a willing co-conspirator in Yelena's mental subversion has completely escaped her understanding.

High Voltage Brainstorm & Notes

High Voltage
Premise: Harry always knew he was different, ever since his cousin Dudley almost shattered his hand trying to punch him when they were nine. He thought that he had found the answers as to why when he turned eleven. Then he started being able to manipulate lightning and influence the weather a few years later. Time to go looking for more answers.
Required Inclusions:
- In this scenario, Harry Potter was born under the name of Hunter Kent, and is actually the missing son of Clark Kent and Princess Diana of Themyscira.
- The boy was kidnapped mere days after his birth by Albus Dumbledore with the help of his trusted familiar, Fawkes the Phoenix.
- Dumbledore only managed that stunt because Clark was in another galaxy on urgent Heroic business and Diana was still weak from childbirth.
- The various Wizarding communities of the globe are so well hidden that not even the non-wizarding mystics can be relied upon to find them.
- Admittedly, the Caped community is still in its fledgling stage in many European countries, making the search for Hunter even more difficult.
- Years later, an almost 15 year old Harry Potter defies Headmaster Dumbledore’s instructions to stay put at Privet Drive and leaves in search of answers to his extraordinary gifts.
- Harry must be methodical in his efforts to leave the country, taking great pains to ensure he has what supplies he’ll need for the long journey to Athens, Greece.
- Of course, his absence was discovered a few days after Harry left, which sparked the powder keg that is Magical Britain before Dumbledore was ready for such an inevitability.
- Harry must travel to Greece using mundane methods, having correctly guessed that his minders wouldn’t monitor the forms of international travel available to the Muggles.
- Of course, Harry’s luck being what it is, he will run into deep trouble soon after he crosses from Eastern Italy to Western Albania.
- Since Harry will be forced to use everything he has just to survive, the unnatural weather will get noticed by the Justice League, who will dispatch members to assess the situation.
- Since Harry will be too worn out to protest, the dispatched team will bring him back to the Watchtower, only for our hero to meet his birth parents for the first time in nearly fifteen years.
- Harry’s reunion with his birth family must occur naturally, since they’ll need time to get their heads around the fact that they’re all alive and well and to learn each other’s boundaries.
- Harry’s primary romantic partner should be Rachel Roth, though other girls can join in on the pairing should they have Raven’s blessing.
- While Harry will be quick to embrace the life of a Superhero, it will be a fight and a half to make him put on one of those ridiculous spandex costumes that the other heroes are wearing!
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should have stumbled upon Fenrir Greyback and his pack of rabid werewolves during one of their raids upon a muggle village in Albania.
- Werewolves who have embraced the curse should be able to shift into a partial Lycan form at any time, but can only infect other people on the night of the full moon.
- When Voldemort used some of Harry’s blood in the Resurrection Ritual, he unknowingly augmented his body with Kryptonian DNA, giving him the same powers as Conner Kent (YJ).
- If Harry lives in the Titans Tower, then he should go on a rant about how much of a pigsty the place is, and make it a point to keep the place in pristine condition, much to Beast Boy’s lament.
- Harry should be really confused about why his parents get mad on his behalf after they learn what he went through, since adults who are both competent and caring are entirely alien to him.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could correctly guess that Captain Marvel (Shazam) is younger than he appears to be due to his mannerisms. What he does with this information is up to the author.
- Dumbledore could attempt to justify his transgressions against Clark & Diana by quoting Spock’s famous mantra from Wrath of Khan. Whether this works or not is up to the author.
- Conner Kent could get a major reality check after Harry wins one or more of their spars.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry ever dating one of the incarnations of Kara Zor-El.
- Harry willingly accepting confinement on the Kent Farm.
- Harry and Raven, the malevolent emo doormats.
- Harry being easily cowed by the JLA’s founders.

- Destiny: It is Harry's destiny to be the one who ultimately vanquishes the self-proclaimed "Dark Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word once he has given it to someone, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore is attempting to sculpt Harry into a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that the lad's death will act as catalyst which will allow the old goat to swoop in and defeat the so-called Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish.
- Troubled Past: Harry was born the son of Princess Diana of Themyscira and her lover, Clark Kent, but he was stolen from his crib only a few days after his birth by Albus Dumbledore and given to the Potters in hopes that they could raise him as a shining beacon of the Light. Unfortunately, his foster parents were killed by Voldemort, which lead to him being raised (read: neglected and abused) by the despicable people known as Vernon and Petunia Dursley, while dodging regular attempts on his life by the very same dark lord that Harry is destined to vanquish one of these days.

Complications
- Emotional Instability: Raven's powers are linked to her emotions, which means that her powers could go out of control if she experiences particularly turbulent emotions.
- Enemy: Despite their relationship, Raven still considers her father, Trigon the Terrible, to be her enemy. Furthermore, Trigon has no problem with destroying everything she holds dear in order to coerce her cooperation.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Raven wants to be accepted for who she is, rather than being feared for what her father intends to unleash upon the world as a gift for her sixteenth birthday.
- Power Loss: Raven's "Soul Self" can be captured, or even damaged, by her enemies if they use certain mystical equipment in order to do so. In such instances, she is unable to access any of her spell effects except for her Astral Projection power, and she is considered to be trapped in her Astral Form until released from confinement. She may even die if separated from her body for too long a period of time.
- Relationship: Raven is the eldest, and thus far only, daughter of the archdemon known as Trigon, and she is romantically interested in Harry Potter.

Complications
- Age: As an underage witch, Gabrielle is unable to cast magic outside of Beauxbatons without risking a violation of her country's equivalent to the Decree for the Misuse of Underage Sorcery. It'd be even worse if she's caught using magic in front of a muggle. She is also unfortunate in that she looks much younger than she actually is due to when she first started practicing gymnastics.
- Leetle Boi Magnet: Gabi's heritage as a Veela, and approximate age, means that she's a living and breathing personification of this concept.
- Motivation: Recognition: Gabrielle wishes to make it clear to her beloved Harry that she is a perfectly acceptible candidate for romantic activities, even if her age says otherwise.
- Power Loss: Gabrielle is unable to activate her Alluring Presence power or benefit from her Attractive advantages while in her Veela Battle Form.
- Relationships: Gabrielle is the younger sister of Fleur Delacour, and therefore the youngest child of Apolline and Jaques Delacour. She also has a good enough relationship with her maternal grandmother that the elder Veela was willing to share one of her locks of hair with Gabi for use as a core in her wand.
- Weakness: Gabi suffers an additional degree of damage from wrought iron weaponry, and is unable to use her magic in order to manipulate iron objects.

Complications
- Disability: While Hedwig understands several languages, she is unable to communicate with humans in a verbal sense. However, that hasn't stopped her from communicating with a select few in a telepathic manner. She also lacks hands with which to easily manipulate objects.

Vincit Qui Se Vincit Brainstorm & Notes

Vincit Qui Se Vincit
Premise: Harry Potter once believed he was an ordinary wizard, however things changed for him when the stress of learning about the prophecy after watching his godfather fall through the Veil of Death causes his mutation to spontaneously activate, allowing the X-Men to discover that the Wolverine has a grandson!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be the grandson of Logan Howlett (Wolverine) on the maternal side of his family. How this managed to occur will be left open to the author’s interpretation.
- Wolverine must be unaware of Harry’s existence as his grandson until Cerebro manages to pick up on the awakening of his mutagenic powers at the end of his fifth year at Hogwarts.
- Harry must have the same set of powers as Logan’s son, James Hudson Jr., in the Earth-1610 World Setting, along with the ability to utilize magic. Anything else is optional.
- Wolverine must demonstrate that he truly cares for Harry, even if their relationship will likely be just as awkward as the relationship between Logan and Laura Kinney.
- If wizarding society is aware of the existence of mutants prior to Harry’s mutagenic awakening, then they must consider them to be a “muggle problem.”
- Harry must be the only mutant who is a student at Hogwarts. However, it is possible that the magic of wizards is, itself, a mutation of one sort or another.
- Harry must receive combat training with the other members of the X-Men, or whichever group it is that he ends up joining upon relocation to the X-Mansion.
- Whichever girls Harry ends up romantically involved in must be within the same general age group that he is part of, so no pairing him with Jean Grey (see below) or Emma Frost in this fic.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry, like his grandfather, should have a thing for redheads, which means pairing him with Rachel Grey, Hope Summers, the Time-Lost version of Jean Grey, or Susan Bones could work.
- Harry should end up attracting the romantic attention of up to four young ladies, who all wish to share Harry’s attention, which could also cause Charles Xavier no small amount of headaches.
- Harry should also be the grandson of Mystique, which may be one of several reasons that she doesn’t get along with Wolverine these days. Of course, this could come with additional powers.
- One of Harry’s romantic interests should be Laura Kinney, who could form an animalistic mating bond with Harry as soon as she sees him for the first time.
Optional Inclusions:
- In addition to the powers possessed by Jimmy Hudson Jr., Harry could also possess the pheromone-based powers that Daken is known for.
- If Harry is the grandson of Mystique, then pairing him with a younger version of Rogue could be an interesting idea, if only to give Mystique a migraine.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being tutored by Agatha Harkness or Stephen Strange.
- Harry being involved in a male-slash pairing.
- Harry the malevolent emo doormat.

Complications
- Destiny: It is Harry's destiny to be the one who ultimately vanquishes the self-proclaimed "Dark Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word once he has given it to someone, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore is attempting to sculpt Harry into a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that the lad's death will act as catalyst which will allow the old goat to swoop in and defeat the so-called Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish.
- Temper: Like his father, Harry can easily fall into a berserker rage if exposed to stimuli that truly angers him, or after he has bottled up his emotions for far longer than is healthy. This is part of why Charles Xavier has decided to overlook Harry's amorous activities, since Harry's girls are helping him to "control" his temper.

- Enemies: Laura's former handlers at the Weapon X Initiative can be said to be her enemies, since they wish to use her as a weapon against the very people she would normally consider to be her family.
- Lose Control: Laura has been conditioned to enter a blind rage whenever she is exposed to a particular scent that has been sprayed on a target that her "handlers" wish for her to eradicate. If she wishes to resist this effect, then she must make a DC 21 Will Resistance check to overcome this conditioning, with failure indicating that she has no choice but to attempt to kill the affected subject.

Sanguis Regius Brainstorm & Notes

Sanguis Regius
Premise: Harry Potter had always known that he was just a bit different from the average man; but what he never suspected, at least until now, was that his origin lay so far beyond the horizon that it isn’t even located on this planet! For you see, Harry is actually a Duke from the planet known as Almerac!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be a member of Almeracian House Blood Royal; and is, in fact, the 1st Cousin, Once Removed of Almerac’s current Sovereign, Queen Maxima.
- How he came to be on Earth is entirely up to the author, but he must discover his otherworldly heritage by no later than his sixth year as a student at Hogwarts.
- Harry must be fully capable of utilizing the hereditary powers of the House Blood Royal, as well as the abilities he inherited from his Terran father.
- Harry must somehow manage to avoid becoming a Horcrux for the Dark Lord Voldemort, as being the vessel for such an abomination would disqualify him as an Almeracian noble.
- At least one trusted friend of the Potter family must be aware of his Secret Origins and be on hand to explain what they know to Harry shortly after he discovers that fact for himself.
- Harry must find an Almeracian Teleportation Gauntlet inside the Potter Family Vault that he can subsequently use in order to reach out to his mother’s family.
- Harry’s primary romantic interest must be Kara Zor-El, though other girls are allowed to join in on his romantic life if they have Kara’s blessing.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should possess the telekinetic abilities that Maxima had in her New Earth incarnation, as well as the Endorphin Kiss that she possessed in her Smallville incarnation.
- Harry’s telekinetic abilities should augment his magic, allowing him to utilize the vast majority of his spells without needing to employ a wand as a focusing implement.
- The names of Almeracians should be derived from regal sounding Earth words, with either the -aa feminine suffix or the -ux masculine suffix, with Harry’s Almeracian name being Primux.
Optional Inclusions:
- Tom and/or Voldemort could form an alliance with some of Maxima’s political rivals.
- While this story will be set primarily in Smallville, it could borrow elements from the New 52 world setting, such as Maxima’s ability to employ the Metacreativity branch of Psionics.

Complications
- Bane: Kara is as vulnerable to magic as anyone else. Her Toughness score is not Impervious against magical attacks, and as of the moment, she is completely unaware of this vulnerability since magic pretty much didn't exist on Krypton.
- Curse Sworn: Zor-El has also tasked Kara with protecting the Blue Crystal of Krypton, which among other things, is actually a Trojan Horse that will give Zor-El complete control over Clark's Fortress of Solitude.
- Honor: Kara will always keep her word once she has given it to someone, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in her dealings.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Kara feels a strong urge to use her powers for the betterment of the world she has come to call her home.
- Power Loss: Kara will lose her superhuman abilities when exposed to the light of a Red Sun, like that of Krypton's local star, since it interferes with her physiology; but she is not reliant on yellow solar energy to "recharge" these powers. Effects which reproduce this kind of radiation can also deprive her of her powers.
- Relationships: Kara is presumably the last living member of Clark Kent's biological family, and the daughter of Clark's paternal aunt and uncle, Alura In-Ze and Zor-El.
- Weakness: The radioactive remains of Krypton will sap Kara of her Strength and powers, leaving her first Impaired, then Disabled and eventually Debilitated in terms of her Strength and Power Effects. Long-term exposure (usually only a matter of minutes, or less for large enough quantities of Kryptonite) impose the Dying condition and may lead to Kara's premature death. The real problem with this complication is that there happens to be an overwhelming amount of Kryptonite buried in the ground of Smallville, which is where Kara currently lives.

The Legend of Mortas Brainstorm & Notes

The Legend of Mortas
Premise: When Tamsin Oliver became a Power Ranger, the last thing that Zordon could have expected was for her to become magically bonded to Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa’s newly rediscovered son, especially after he went to great pains in order to hide the boy among the wand-waving humans of Great Britain; of course, that is what he gets for betting against Harry Potter’s luck.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry’s alignment must be Dark Gray (Chaotic Neutral), meaning that he is more than likely going to help the villains, but that he is just as likely to assist the good guys.
- Tamsin Olvier must share the same moral and ethical alignment as her beloved Harry, though the reason for this will be left up to the author’s interpretation.
- The story must begin with Rita claiming Tamsin as her new Green Ranger, but will also contain flashbacks to Harry’s reunion with his newly discovered birth mother.
- When Tamsin meets Harry for the first time, his magic will break the control that Rita had imposed upon the girl, and replace it with a magical bond between Tamsin and Harry.
- When Tamsin fights against the Rangers, Harry must observe the battles and urge her on to victory alongside Rita and her goons. Harry’s participation in those battles is optional.
- The Rangers will be unable to break Rita’s hold on Tamsin, since there is nothing to break due to her bond with Harry being on the same order of magnitude with a Soul Bond.
- If this story occurs before Voldemort is defeated, then Harry must eventually be approached by the British Ministry for Magic, who will attempt to convince him to return to “do [his] duty”
- How the magicals take Harry’s darker persona will be left up to the author’s interpretation, but Tamsin must go along with Harry if he decides to return to Magical Britain.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry’s relationship with the Weasley family and Albus Dumbledore should have suffered irreparable damage after he learns about their attempts to claim the Potter & Black fortunes.
- Harry should be the biological son of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, who was stolen in infancy by Albus Dumbledore, at Zordon’s behest, and given to the Potter’s to raise.
- The Power Rangers, Rita, and Harry should have abilities that are based on those which were presented in the 2017 Power Rangers movie, complete with the fancy new costumes.
- Harry should have his own Dark Ranger alter ego, complete with a costume, morphing coin and Zord of his very own, the exact nature of this alter ego is up to the author.

- Impulsive: Tamsin isn't afraid to point out the flaws in Rita's villainous plans, since her loyalty belongs solely to Harry Potter. She is also prone to acting without thinking about the consequences, because if it feels right to Tamsin, then it must be right.
- Lifelinked: Tamsin feels that her soul is intertwined with Harry's and that if he dies, then she will die with him. Even if this doesn't turn out to be true, Tamsin is liable to take her own life out of grief from having lost her beloved Harry. The reverse, however, is not also true.
