Complications
- Destiny: It is Harry's destiny to be the one who vanquishes the dark wizard that styles himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Fey Blood: Harry is considered to be both a Faery and a Human for effects which target one of those two species.
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word once he has given it to someone, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore wishes to sculpt Harry into a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that the lad's death will act as catalyst which will allow the old goat to swoop in and defeat the so-called Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish.
- Power Loss: Harry’s Toughness is not Impervious against weapons forged from Wrought Iron.
- Weakness: Harry gains the Impaired condition when exposed to the Intense Heat environmental effect. Furthermore, he suffers an additional degree of effect from Fire Damage, meaning that he'll always sustain some damage from these attacks. Both weaknesses are due to his nature as an Aquatic Feykin.

Filius Belli Brainstorm & Notes

Filius Belli
Premise: Lily Potter (née Evans) wasn’t exactly who she claimed to be. In reality, she was the Norse goddess of war, Sif, who decided to take a vacation on Midgard. She hadn’t expected to fall in love and give birth to a son, though. Sif’s little Haraldr was her greatest treasure and she’d kill to keep him safe! «Inspired by Whitetigerwolf’s Son of War one-shot»
Required Inclusions:
- Sif Týsdóttir decided to take a well earned vacation on Midgard, where she became known as Lily Evans, the future wife to James Potter and mother of his son and heir.
- One of the reasons as to why James had so much difficulty wooing Sif/Lily as teenagers was that he unfortunately shared many of Loki’s less desirable personality traits.
- Fast forward to that fateful Halloween night, Sif will survive the attack on her family due to her Asgardian constitution, but must still be unconscious long enough for her son to be taken.
- While gifted in magic by Midgardian standards, Sif is far from being the best sorceress in Asgard, or even really a skilled one.
- Once Sif regains consciousness, she will shed her mortal disguise and call for the Bifrost so she can ask her brother, Heimdall, for aid in locating her missing son.
- Sif will not care one iota about Dumbledore’s plans for her son, since she’ll be bringing him with her back to Asgard the very second that she has him in her arms again!
- Due to his mother’s Domain over Warfare, Harry’s temper must run much hotter than most of the other members of the Norse pantheon, be they named or not.
- The veracity and the content of Trelawney’s prophecy won’t matter to Harry. Voldemort murdered his father, honor demands that he avenge that offense against his family!
- Due to his Asgardian constitution, Harry will not be one of Voldemort’s many horcruxes, whether or not it was the Dark Lord’s intention to transform him into one.
Preferred Inclusions:
- What the British magical community might call “Dark” about Harry’s personality should actually be the result of his upbringing in a society that prizes their warriors.
- Odin and Frigga should have a daughter that is around Harry’s age who is also his best friend. Bonus points will be given if she has her elder brothers wrapped around her fingers.
- Said daughter should bond with Fenrir to the point that she is allowed to ride on his back like the titular character from the anime Princess Mononoke.
- Amora should have followed Sif to Midgard so she could begin her own vacation at around the same time, eventually becoming known as Ambrosia Greengrass, mother of Daphne & Astoria.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could find himself being summoned down to Hogwarts by unspecified means, even if it is preferred that the Goblet of Fire not be responsible for his abrupt return to Midgard.
- Norse deities and Demigods could age at the same rate as humans until their twentieth year of life, before having their aging process slow to a seemingly glacial rate.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being afraid to embrace other cultures and/or sacrificing his own values over it.
- Harry allowing Headmaster Dumbledore to treat him as a subordinate.
- Harry, Sif and Harry’s girlfriends, the Malevolent Emo Doormats.

Crimson Warlock Brainstorm & Notes

Crimson Warlock
Premise: Harry Potter survived certain death, not to mention a Fate far worse than Death; he also has more power than people think, not to mention a destiny far stranger than anyone could ever believe. One that will also affect the future of a beautiful enhanced witch by the name of Wanda Maximoff!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must believe that the circumstances will dictate whose needs are more important, but that the ends will almost always justify the means (Chaotic Neutral).
- Harry must be extraordinarily powerful, to the point that he qualifies as an Omega Level Threat as far as such classification systems are concerned.
- The story must begin either before Hogwarts, or at some point following Voldemort’s return in Harry’s fourth year at Hogwarts, though the exact timing is up to the author.
- If the story begins after Voldemort’s resurrection, then Harry must have a desire to become more powerful, no matter what anyone else thinks of the matter.
- During the course of the first chapter, Harry must find himself being transported to Wundagore by whatever means that the author prefers.
- Once there, Harry will be contacted by the ancient spirit known as Chthon, who decides to “bless” Harry by transforming him into the Elder God’s Champion or Avatar.
- As part of his new destiny, Harry must locate the Darkhold, and absorb its powers into himself, gaining full mastery of the magic that is contained within the book.
- Chthon must teach Harry how to wield Chaos Magic on a level that equals or even exceeds that of Wanda Maximoff, meaning he will be exceptionally powerful.
- A new prophecy must appear which foretells a union between the Crimson Warlock and Scarlet Witch; though the exact nature of this union will be left up to the author’s discretion.
- Harry must now be on par with Loki in terms of his magical aptitude, with Doctor Stephen Strange and the other Masters of the Mystic Arts being a considerable thorn in his side.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should be a full scale crossover with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Chthon actually being more of a neutral deity than he is in the comics.
- Wanda should be Harry’s primary romantic interest, though other romantic partners are permissible provided that the author doesn’t go overboard when building the harem.
- While people, particularly the Masters of the Mystic Arts, will claim that Harry has become corrupted by the powers of the Darkhold, he should actually be in full control of those abilities.
- Harry should convert other magic users to his side by giving them a taste of what he has become, which could possibly cause him to develop a religious following.
- Harry should actually be the reincarnation of Chthon, having been reborn into a new mortal form, rather than remaining trapped in his seemingly eternal prison.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could, at least once, claim that things “just got out of hand” as justification for his actions.
- The Phoenix Force could act as Harry’s primary antagonist, even if Harry finds her host to be particularly attractive, since they represent opposing concepts.
- Wanda could be connected to Lily in some manner, though this most likely won’t be enough to stop her from pursuing a relationship with Harry.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being romantically interested in men.
- Harry the Pathetic Emo Doormat.

- Curse Sworn: As the Divine Avatar of Chthon, it is Harry's responsibility to further Chthon's agenda within the world, even at the cost of his own goals and obligations. To this end, Harry has begun to search for both the Book of the Darkhold and his future bride, the Scarlet Witch.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore wishes to sculpt Harry into a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that the lad's death will act as catalyst which will allow the old goat to swoop in and defeat the so-called Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish.
- Prejudice: Individuals such as Doctor Stephen Strange consider Harry to be a threat to all of existence simply because his magical powers are derived from the Elder God known as Chthon, and will do what they can in order to hinder him whenever they encounter one another.

The Price is Right Brainstorm & Notes

The Price is Right
Premise: There is much more to magic than spells learned rhetorically. Power and intent played a large part as well. Holly Potter was willing to pay any price to get away from her Relatives, so long as it didn’t involve a coffin. Enter Crowley, the King of the Crossroad Demons, stage right.
Required Inclusions:
- Holly Potter must somehow manage to get her hands on the materials needed to summon a Crossroads Demon while she is still living at Privet Drive.
- Canonically, summoning a Demon is a rather complex affair, but Holly must be so desperate that her innate magic will bridge the gap.
- Holly’s act of surviving an otherwise unsurvivable curse must have made her into a hot commodity for any Demon who is capable of snagging her soul.
- Following the previous requirement, Holly’s contract is so high-class that it will pass into Crowley’s hands right after the deal is struck.
- Instead of just giving Holly ten years to enjoy her freedom, Crowley will decide to keep her and train her into one of his Bounty Hunters, since Witches can easily bypass Anti-Demon Wards.
- Voldemort must have made a deal with a Crossroads Demon that he weaseled his way out of by shattering his soul, thereby preventing the Hellhounds from locating him when it comes due.
- Crowley must eventually make another Deal with Holly: in exchange for Riddle’s complete soul, she won’t go to Hell when her original Deal expires.
- To even the odds between his protegee and Tom Riddle, Crowley will eventually change her into an artificial Half-Devil to enhance her considerable power. There is no kill like overkill.
- Since nothing in life or death is free, Holly will pay for her new powers with the horcrux embedded in part of the curse scar crossing her eye.
- The romantic pairings will be left to the author’s discretion even if it’s recommended that Holly show an equal interest in both genders.
- Holly must meet the Winchester brothers at least once, bonus points if she bails them out of a situation caused by their lack of prior preparation.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Holly should cultivate a good working relationship with Loki (Gabriel) that allows her to call on the disguised angel’s assistance from time to time.
- Holly should maintain a True Neutral or Chaotic Neutral moral and ethical alignment, since most Hunters will tend to be Neutral or Chaotic Good in terms of their own alignments.
- One of Holly’s battles against a powerful Dark Creature should have its climactic conclusion in the Hogwarts Great Hall during one of the school’s many feasts.
- Supernatural Bounty Hunters, such as Holly, should have a rather negative reputation within the various European magical enclaves.
- Holly should either be proficient in wandless magic, or else have an alternative magical focus that is easier to conceal on her person than a wand would be.
Optional Inclusions:
- Holly could learn about politics and how to manage a business from Crowley, who also takes on a paternal role in her life now that she is under his watchful eye.
- Holly could have the ability to manifest real raven-like wings that bestow her with the ability to fly, much like how Dante gains wings while using Devil Trigger with Alastor in Devil May Cry.
- Holly could enjoy flaunting her natural beauty, while also managing to avoid breaking laws.
Forbidden Things:
- Holly ending up in Hell after she fails to uphold her Contract.
- Holly entering the service of either Dumbledore or Riddle.
- Holly becoming a martyr for Wizarding Britain.
- Holly becoming one of Lilith’s many hosts.

Prepare For Trouble Brainstorm & Notes

Prepare For Trouble
Premise: Harry Potter vanished from his relatives’ home at the tender age of six, never to be found. At the same time, a strange human boy appeared from out of nowhere on Tamaran and was taken in by the royal couple as a playmate for their daughters. They should have known that their ward and eldest would throw the entire galaxy in chaos during their many romps.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must vanish from the Dursley home at around the age of six with the help of his innate (i.e. accidental) magic.
- Harry must manage to arrive safely on the planet of Tamaran in the Vega System, even if he will be both exhausted and terrified by his journey into the depths of space.
- In an equal mix of concern and national security, since their planet has a lot of powerful enemies, a patrol of law enforcement officers will be quick to take Harry off the streets.
- Harry’s case is so odd, that it will eventually reach all the way to the top of Tamaranean society, where it will be reviewed by the King and Queen of Tamaran.
- Queen Luand’r will, with her husband’s blessing, decide to take Harry on as a royal ward and present the boy to her daughters as a playmate.
- While magic is rather rare on Tamaran, they are known to possess a few practitioners of the Mystic Arts, and they don’t go to the pains as Earth’s Homo-Magi in keeping it a secret.
- Harry must eventually volunteer for an experimental procedure which will change him into a Tamaranean / Homo-Magi Hybrid.
- While Harry won’t be able to generate Starbolts in the way that Starfire and Blackfire are known for, he must have the ability to coat his fists in Starbolt energy and project shockwaves.
- Tamaraneans attain physical, emotional & mental maturity at the same rate as Humans. What is known as the Transformation is just an evolution of their powers.
- Harry’s relationships with the Tamaranean Royal Family will be cordial and rather informal with the adults, sibling-esque with Starfire, and a somewhat rocky romance with Blackfire.
- In this particular scenario, Blackfire is not the one responsible for the Conquest of Tamaran or for Starfire’s eventual enslavement; which will separate the siblings.
- While Starfire eventually makes a name for herself as a superheroine on Earth, Harry and Blackfire must end up being labeled as intergalactic delinquents.
- While Harry and Blackfire will often go looking for trouble, since they are both thrillseekers, other times the trouble will find them all on its own.
- After a thrill gone very wrong in Laira Omoto’s space sector, the beautiful Green Lantern will pursue our protagonists relentlessly all the way to Earth before they manage to lose her.
- After laying low for a time, both Harry and Blackfire must discover that Starfire is currently on Earth and decide that a family reunion is long overdue.
- While Harry and Blackfire won’t join the Teen Titans, they will stay in the Tower as honored guests for a time, before looking for their own lodging.
- Harry is permitted to see other women when he and Komand’r are in an “off” period. If they want to continue that romance during an “on” period, then they must obtain Blackfire’s blessing.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should have an affinity for fire magic and aerial combat to better assist him when he engages in midair battles.
- Harry and Blackfire’s romantic life should experience quite a few “On” and “Off” periods, during the latter of which they aren’t actively dating, but are still friendly with one another.
- Starfire should end up feeling very embarrassed after intruding on her elder siblings while they are engaged in carnal activity while in a semi-public location.
- Harry should eventually develop, or discover, a portal spell, so that he and a number of his friends can travel more easily between the various space sectors.
- If Harry ever bothers to learn wizarding magic, then he should ironically have an easier time with the more powerful, and therefore complicated, spells, rather than the weaker ones.
Optional Inclusions:
- Being pursued by such a beautiful and strong willed woman for so long could arouse Harry’s interest enough to often go back to Laira’s sector to try wrangling a date out of her.
- Harry could unknowingly give the good guys more time to attempt undoing Voldemort’s immortality after a fight that accidentally destroys the Dark Lord’s current body.
- Raven could lose a bet that forces her to dress in an overtly feminine manner.

- Harry and Blackfire having the same speech pattern as Starfire.
- The Scarcrux surviving Harry’s Tamaranean transformation.

- Honor: Jaydians in general follow along the lines of typical "Proud Warrior Races" and Laira is no exception to this in that she wishes to uphold the traditions of her people and prefers fighting her enemies in single combat rather than mass battles.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Laira believes very strongly in the ideals of the Green Lantern Corps and wishes to uphold their mission with all of her heart.
- Power Loss: Oan Power Rings require periodic recharging and will issue a warning to their wielders when they are running low on energy. As a general rule of thumb, these devices store a sufficient charge to operate at their maximum power level for 24 hours, and will then suffer a diminishing level of power every 4 minutes (Time Rank 5) beyond that point, becoming first Impaired, then Disabled and finally Debilitated. They can, however, operate on a low-yield setting that allows them to travel through the void of space practically indefinitely.
- Relationships: Laira is a very skilled martial artist who was personally trained by her father, Kentar Omoto. She was named the Green Lantern of Sector 112 when the previous Green Lantern was killed defending her father from hostile invaders from another world. Laira also harbors romantic feelings for her former trainer Ke'Haan.
- Weakness: Oan Power Rings depend on the Willpower of the wearer; meaning that the maximum rank of the ring's effects is equal to the wearer's Will score, and that moments of self-doubt or hesitation could cause the device to become inoperable.

Champion of Life Brainstorm & Notes

Champion of Life
Premise: What if due to circumstances beyond his control, Harry Potter actually became the Champion of Life, instead of being recognized as the Master of Death. And what if this distinction set him up as a natural rival for the monstrosity who is attempting to court Mistress Death in this reality, Thanos, the Mad Titan?
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must prefer to incapacitate his adversaries, while also acknowledging that some opponents will be too dangerous for him to simply let off with their lives intact.
- Harry must become the Champion of Life, since it would technically be impossible for him to act as Death’s Champion in any reality that he shares with Thanos.
- Harry must be recognized as the Champion of Life when he goes into the Forbidden Forest and nearly dies in an attempt to save the lives of countless other people.
- Harry’s status as the Champion of Life must come with several new powers, at least one of which will be a symbiotic bond with the Infinity Stone that is known as the Soul Stone.
- There must be a scene where Harry is informed of his new existential status, though the timing and execution of this scene will be left up to the author’s interpretation.
- Harry must become romantically involved with either Wanda Maximoff, Jean Grey, and/or Natasha Romanoff, with Harry using his powers to restore the latter’s ability to have children.
Preferred Inclusions:
- The Resurrection Stone should actually be the Soul Stone, which was moved to Earth from its original resting place on the planet Vormir at some point in the distant past.
- Harry should interfere in the events surrounding the Chitauri Invasion of Earth, and in doing so, become a founding member of the Avengers Initiative.
- Harry should take the place Adam Warlock holds in the comics as Thanos’ primary antagonist and rival, since Harry will be replacing Warlock as the Master of the Soul Stone in this fic.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could actually be the W.H.O. & Excalibur attaché to S.H.I.E.L.D. & the Avengers.
- Bonus points will be given to the author if Harry uses the phrase “I’m the master of… What?!” when learning of his new existential status.
