Complications
- Bane: Lily is just as vulnerable to magic as anyone else. As such, her Toughness score is not Impervious against magical attacks.
- Excessive Personal Loyalty: Lily will become fiercely loyal to anyone who doesn't see her for her faults, what few of them she has, but instead regards her for who she is as an individual. With that said, if someone betrays that loyalty, then they should probably live out their lives under a Fidelius, because her wrath is the stuff from which legends are made!
- Impulsive: Lily likes to face her problems head-on, believing that a simple, direct solution is the best path to success. This is part of why such an intelligent woman wound up in Gryffindor instead of Ravenclaw. She is also the sort of woman who could, and probably would, stare down a Dragon without flinching.
- Motivation: Protector: Lily believes that the most noble cause is to lay down her life in the defense of others, especially when they are members of her family.
- Power Loss: Lily will lose all of her Kryptonian superpowers when exposed to the light of a red star, like that which sits at the heart of the Kryptonian star system, since such light interferes with her genetic enhancements. Effects which reproduce this kind of energy will also deprive her of these powers.
- Relationships: Lily is the, shockingly still alive, mother of the young man known to the world at large as Valar, and to his friends and loved ones as Harry Potter. She is also a distant cousin to Clark Kent by way of his birth mother, Lara Lor-Van.
- Troubled Past: Lily is rather slow to trust that the words of others are sincere due to her rather unfortunate history with the men known as Severus Snape and Peter Pettigrew.
- Weakness: The radioactive remains of Krypton can sap Lily of her strength and Kryptonian superpowers, leaving her first Impaired, then Disabled, and eventually Debilitated in terms of her Strength and non-magical Power Effects. Long-term exposure (usually only a matter of minutes) could impose the Dying condition, and may result in Lily's premature death. It is worth noting that this complication is only in reference to what is known as Green-K, and that other types of Kryptonite do exist, and each has their own unique effect on Lily's physiological makeup.

- Enemies: Lex Luthor will stop at nothing to see "Superman" destroyed, as he feels that the Man of Steel is a threat to the status quo. Clark has also earned the enmity of the New God known as Darkseid, who would much rather subjugate the Kryptonian's mind and use him as his personal enforcer.
- Honor: Clark prefers to judge people based on their actions, and not their words. Furthermore, if someone is in trouble, he's always ready to lend them a helping hand.
- Motivation: Fairness: Clark believes that no one should get preferential treatment before the law, and that no one is above the law. However, he is willing to work outside the law in order to prevent superhuman criminals from escaping justice, as often happens when their only opponents are mundane law enforcement officers.
- Power Loss: Clark will lose access to all of his superhuman and racial abilities when exposed to the light of a red star, like that which was emitted by the star that both Krypton and Argo orbited, as such energy interferes with his genetic enhancements. Effects which reproduce such light will also deprive him of his powers.
- Responsibility: Clark has worked the land, he loves the land, and he will put everything he has into protecting the land!

I should probably explain why Lily is significantly weaker than both Clark and Galatea in terms of her physical strength. The reason for this is because Lily is built to emphasize her mental faculties and spellcasting rather than her raw brute strength.

The Trickster's Mulligan Brainstorm & Notes

The Trickster’s Mulligan
Premise: After falling off the Bifrost, Loki Laufeyson lucked out in that he wasn’t caught by Thanos the Mad Titan, but instead sent on to his Next Great Adventure. Unfortunately, it would seem that adventure would see him becoming one of the most famous Galdramenn in existence, for you see, Loki was now Harry Potter!
Required Inclusions:
- After falling off the Bifrost, Loki’s soul must be sent into the cycle of reincarnation where it will end up becoming the mortal known as Harry Potter.
- Since Loki is no longer available, Thanos will instead procure the services of the Enchantress and send her to Midgard so that she can aid the Chitauri in conquering that world.
- Heimdall must eventually inform the Aesir Royals that he’s discovered a young Midgardian whose mystical prowess and physical form greatly resemble those of the missing Prince Loki.
- At Frigga’s insistence, an expedition must be mounted to bring this child back to Midgard in the hope that he is in fact her missing son, but even if not, then she could still use an apprentice.
- Since the boy is an amalgam of both Harry and Loki, he must be willing to answer to either of those names and recognize both identities as composite parts of his core existence.
- While he will initially be overwhelmed, Harry must adapt and thrive in the environment and family that has been presented to him within the Royal Palace of Valaskjalf.
- Wanting to make amends for past mistakes, Thor must make a concerted effort to get to know his brother’s new incarnation without forcing the younger man into uncomfortable activities.
- Frigga must ask Harry to stop holding back his intellect and true capabilities, since such actions are unbecoming of a Prince of Asgard; if his friends are true, it won’t matter.
- Either Frigga, Eir or Amora must detect the dark magic located in Harry’s curse scar and excise it so that he won’t need to walk the path of a martyr at the end of the second blood war.
- Unfortunately, the Norns have ensured that Harry is the one who must ultimately vanquish the Dark Lord Voldemort, since the prophecy binding them together was a legitimate one.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry’s more genuine and down to Earth nature should temper Loki’s capricious and oft’ mean-spirited personality, while Loki’s caution should help reign in Harry’s recklessness.
- Frigga should survive her fateful encounter with the Dark Elves when they invade the Royal Palace of Valaskjalf during the events of Thor: The Dark World.
- The tendency for the Aesir to view Loki as Argr (Unmanly) should be completely curbed after they learn of Harry’s epic battle against the Basilisk of Salazar Slytherin.
- At some point, Frigga should come down to Midgard so that she can give Albus Dumbledore a piece of her mind for how badly Harry has been treated over the past several years.
- In a show of childish naïveté, Harry should try to convince an ailing Odin to visit the Hogwarts Hospital Wing so that Madame Pomfrey can “cure him” of what is actually just old age.
Optional Inclusions:
- Much like his comic book counterpart, Harry could prove to be worthy of wielding Mjolnir.
- Harry could live up to his status as a “God of Pranks” by rigging the Avengers Tower with various Weasley Wizarding Wheezes products and enjoying the resulting chaos.
- Harry could actually have an easier time learning to employ the Sorcery of Asgard than he has ever had with the magic that is being taught to him at Hogwarts.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry doing something that gets him cast out of Asgard.
- Harry being involved in a male-slash pairing.
- Harry forgetting about the Potters’ sacrifice.
- Harry and Loki being separate entities.

Brother to the Sisters Black
Premise: When Harry Potter died, the last thing he ever expected was to be reborn as the twin brother of Bellatrix Black, and elder sibling to Andromeda and Narcissa Black. What made this all the more confusing for him, was that apparently the world he now inhabited was home to the incredibly beautiful ‘Lady Slytherin’ instead of the equally monstrous ‘Lord Voldemort.’
Required Inclusions:
- Since he is being reborn as a member of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, Harry will be renamed for a constellation, such as Hydrus or Horologium (Horologius?).
- Harry, aka Hydrus Black, must be the fraternal twin brother to one of the Black Sisters, and for the purposes of this scenario, the sister in question will be Bellatrix Black.
- If he does join a Faction, be it Light or Dark, then it must be something that occurs after considerable deliberation on his part, and thus won’t be an immediate event.
- Hydrus must regard both Sirius and Regulus as though they were his little brothers, even though they are actually cousins, and will be quite disappointed when Sirius does a runner.
- Harry, as Hydrus Black, must be paired with someone from his time as a student at Hogwarts, with the preference being that he end up romancing Isabella Trevisan.
- There must be a completely different Child Who Lived from the one which existed in the canonical Harry Potter franchise, even if that means it is Neville who gets “tagged in.”
Preferred Inclusions:
- Hydrus should end up becoming a member of Lady Slytherin’s Inner Circle, though it will be up to the author to decide what his role will be within that organization.
- Hydrus should have a unique ability that sets him apart from other members of Wixen society, though it should be different from the Parseltongue had in his previous lifetime.
- Hydrus should take command of the Knights of Walpurgis, which is what Lady Slytherin will call her followers, when she suffers her inevitable discorporation.
Optional Inclusions:
- Hydrus could take the time to become an Animagus, with negotiable registration status.
- The story could feature point of view narratives for Hydrus’ children when they arrive at Hogwarts assuming that it runs that long.
Forbidden Things:
- Hydrus having creature traits, unless they come from his Animagus form.

Lightbringer Brainstorm & Notes

Lightbringer
Premise: “They had initiated countless Ragnaroks across the eons, and not even the mighty Odin could stand against them, but to Those Who Sit Above in Shadows I say, ‘One thought opens a thousand eyes. One sun brings a thousand dawns!’” These were the words of Mistress Death as she merged Baldr Odinson’s soul with that of her future champion, Harry Potter.
Required Inclusions:
- Those Who Sit Above in Shadows have pulled the strings of the Nine Realms for countless Ragnarok cycles, feeding off the energy that each releases in turn.
- As a result of the above fact, Mistress Death has decided to take matters into her own hands by freeing Baldr Odinson’s soul from their grasp and adding him to the cycle of reincarnation.
- When all is said and done, Baldr will have lived the life of young Harry Potter up until the young man united the Deathly Hallows, gaining access to his memories of his life as Baldr.
- As a result of their merger, Harry will have an exceptionally durable body, even by the standards of an Asgardian Royal, meaning that it is incredibly difficult to make him bleed.
- Baldr’s famous sword, Svraden, must appear to Harry at a moment when he is most in need of the weapon’s assistance, and once he has proven himself Worthy enough to wield it.
- Hela Odinsdottir must be Harry’s primary romantic partner for this scenario, even if they would technically be siblings had Harry been born as the son of Odin in this reality.
- To thwart the Shadow’s plans, Harry must do everything in his power to avoid creating another Ragnarok scenario, even if that means thoroughly embarrassing Hela.
- To help him in this mission, Mistress Death will make it so that Harry’s Divine Light prevents him from being corrupted by the Shadow’s malice.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry’s quasi-divine nature and Divine Light, more than his mother’s ritual, should have been what was responsible for allowing him to survive the Killing Curse as a toddler.
- Harry’s rather famous temper should be something he inherited during his previous lifetime as Odin’s son, since each of the man’s children was renowned for their fiery tempers.
- Odin should be just as baffled as everyone else when he comes to learn about the Asgardian who dwells upon Asgard, since he has never heard of such an individual before.
- Hela should have found a way around her imprisonment that allows her to escape without being noticed by Odin, but which could inexorably tie her to Harry due to the Deathly Hallows.
Optional Inclusions:
- After meeting Hela for the first time, Harry could attempt to ask Heimdall if he would open the Bifrost for them, only to be quite surprised when the Gatewarden of Asgard does as asked.

Complications
- Hatred: Hela will regularly spend time reminiscing about where and when her life went wrong, which is to say that she often spends time contemplating how much she wants to murder her father for locking her away inside of a pocket dimension. It is only Harry's presence in her life that stays her hand.
- Honor: Hela will fight to the death for the values that she believes in, and also in defense of those who she has come to regard as her friends and loved ones.
- Motivation: Protector: Hela does whatever she must in order to aid those who have been forsaken by the gods who reside within the Upper Realms, which is to say, anyone who is not destined to die honorably in the midst of battle.
- Obsession: Hela is determined to earn a place for herself within either Valhalla or Folkvangr when she leaves for her Next Great Adventure. Unfortunately, this is made difficult for her due to the fact that her father has gone out of his way to erase her from the annals of history, even if she is still remembered on Midgard.

Filius Irae Brainstorm & Notes

Filius Irae
Premise: The problem with having Emoticlones, is that they will sometimes escape from your head, travel into the past and live entire lives of their own that are largely independent from yours, only for you to track them down and return with them to the future, whereupon you discover that the clone in question had a son!
Required Inclusions:
- Rage must somehow manage to escape from Raven’s mind, allowing the Emoticlone to manifest in the real world, where it will quickly use her powers to travel through time.
- Rage’s absence must cause changes within Raven that will lead her on a quest to reclaim her missing Emoticlone from wherever she has decided to hide herself.
- Rage must be involved in Harry Potter’s birth prior to when she is inevitably found by Raven and forced to merge with the Titan and her other Emoticlones.
- Rage must succeed in keeping her participation in Harry’s birth a secret from Raven and the other Emoticlones long enough for the Titan to encounter him in her own time period.
- Harry must encounter Raven at some point after his Second Year at Hogwarts, but before his Fifth Year at the same. This means Harry and Raven will likely see each other as siblings.
- Meanwhile, Rage must consider Harry to be her son, even if she wasn’t actually living the life of Lily Potter during her time in the Marauder Era.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Rage actually was living the life of Lily Potter, and could have easily dealt with Voldemort when he came to her nuptial home, if not for her desire to preserve Harry’s life.
- Harry should inherit the full suite of powers which are usually associated with Raven and her Emoticlones, albeit with his own being slightly more tainted by Rage’s emotional alignment.
- Harry should be far less forgiving of villains such as Slade Wilson and the Joker than he would be those like Poison Ivy or Harley Quinn, since the former two lack any sense of remorse.
Optional Inclusions:
- Trigon could attempt to use Harry as a door into the Earth Realm, just like he did with Raven.
- It could be perfectly normal for male Scions of Trigon to pursue romantic relationships with their female kin, since that is a possible implication of Trigon’s interest in Raven.

Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort will stop at nothing in order to see Harry placed into an early grave, and would be even happier if he is the one who does the dirty deed.
- Honor: If someone is in trouble, Harry is always willing to lend them a helping hand. He is also determined to ensure that no one else has to suffer through the sort of hardships and indignities that he dealt with during his childhood.
- Impulsive: Once someone questions Harry's courage, he'll never back down, no matter how dangerous the situation, which of course plays into his obsessive tendencies (see below).
- Motivation: Freedom: Harry truly believes that when people blindly follow the rules or the rails of destiny, that all they are doing is imprisoning themselves, and as such, he constantly strives to help others liberate themselves from such cages.
- Nemesis: Headmaster Albus Dumbledore believes that there is a prophecy linking Harry to the Dark Lord Voldemort, and that it will only be possible to vanquish the latter once Harry's life comes to an end, and as such has been raising the boy like a lamb to the slaughter, all on the hopes that he can swoop in and defeat the Dark Lord once they have come to what he sees as the appointed time.
- Obsession: When Harry sets his mind to something, he'll follow through, no matter what gets in his way!
- Power Loss: Harry must be capable of performing intricate somatic gestures with his hands or wand and the requisite verbal incantations in order to cast his spells, which means that effects which restrict his movement or prevent him from speaking could deprive him of the ability to use his magical powers.

- Honor: Raven is used to helping out those who aren't as smart as she is, and will always try to patiently explain anything and everything to her teammates and various innocent bystanders. She is also willing to listen to every side of an argument before making her own judgment on any given topic.
- Motivation: Knowledge: Raven has come to realize that the path to power and self-improvement is through knowledge, and is always looking to increase her wealth of such whenever the opportunity presents itself.
- Power Loss: Raven must be capable of speaking the ridiculously complicated incantations for her spells in order to use her magic, which means that effects that prevent her from speaking could deprive her of said abilities.
- Quirk: Most people run and scream when they see a demon; Raven, on the other hand, will stop and take notes on the thing's anatomy!

Complications
- Guy Magnet: Fleur is a Veela, and as such is a living, breathing, embodiment of this concept. As such, she regularly has to deal with young men throwing themselves at her, and the less said about their level of attractiveness, the better!
- Honor: Nothing is more important to Fleur than honoring her pledges.
