Complications
- Cursed: Harry isn't actually the sort of hero people think he is. In reality, he is one of the accursed children of Trigon, and therefore destined to bring about the apocalypse by involuntarily acting as a gate through which his father can enter the physical world. Of course, as with any key, he can also banish his father back to whence he came, even if doing so will be incredibly difficult.
- Impulsive: Harry feels that every moment not spent taking action, is one moment closer to disaster, though he isn't particularly picky about what sort of actions he is taking.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry knows that the world is in peril and wishes to do what he can in order to save it. Of course, the peril he envisions is that which will be brought about by his very existence as one of Trigon's children. He also wishes to use his second chance at life in order to make the world in general a better place.
- Power Loss: Harry must be capable of moving his hands and speaking the relevant incantations in order to utilize his magical abilities. Therefore, effects which restrict his mobility or prevent him from speaking can and will cause him to lose the ability to cast spells until they are nullified or removed. Furthermore, Harry's Toughness is not Impervious vs. Holy Attacks or Wrought Iron Weapons.
- Troubled Past: Harry appreciates the relative anonymity that being so far removed from Wizarding Britain has given him, since it removes him from the subtle manipulations of two old man who were planning his funeral ever since he was one year old.
- Weakness: Harry will become Impaired while on Holy Ground, or when presented with a Holy Symbol by someone with strong religious convictions.

The Mystical Phoenix Brainstorm & Notes

The Mystical Phoenix
Premise: In order to free a fragment of its infinite self, the Phoenix entity creates another Phoenix Egg and chooses Harry Potter to be its host.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be a mutant with psionic powers. If it’s a psychic power, then Harry will eventually be capable of it (use the Superpower wiki’s Psionics listing for inspiration).
- Harry’s psionic abilities must be unlocked before his eleventh birthday. How this is done will be left up to the author’s discretion.
- Harry must already be an Avatar of the Phoenix Force before Voldemort attacks his family on October 31st, 1981. This will also set the age difference between him and Jean Grey.
- The status of Harry’s magical affinity is up to the author, but if he can use magic, then he must attend at least one year of lessons at Hogwarts before moving into the Xavier Institute.
- Furthermore, if Harry is a wizard, then the Phoenix Force must also be the source of all magical energy, making Harry immune to dark magic corruption & low-level curses.
- Jean, as the other Phoenix Host, must slowly gain the ability to utilize magic, allowing her to overcome the weakness she normally has to magical attacks.
- Harry must struggle to contain his burgeoning telepathic abilities, constantly reading the thoughts of those around him who have weak or non-existent mental defenses.
- Harry must be approached by Charles Xavier and/or Jean Grey with an offer to join the Institute at some point after his 11th or 12th birthday. This doesn’t mean he has to be an X-Man.
- Jean must view Harry as something akin to a younger brother or close cousin, and Harry must in turn view Jean as something akin to an elder sister or cousin as well.
- Harry and Jean must act as balancers for each other, allowing them to maintain a neutral standing on the scale between the Dark and White Phoenix.
- Harry must be willing to do whatever it takes to protect the lives of innocent bystanders, so long as it doesn’t override his role as an Avatar of the Phoenix Force.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should be a crossover with the X-Men Cinematic Universe, as well as any other aspects of the Marvel comics multiverse that the author deigns to use.
- If Harry does join the X-Men, the leaders of the group should refrain from sending him on dangerous missions unless they need him to rescue Jean.
- Harry should use his powers to create a paradisiacal planet in the Sol System that can be inhabited by Metahumans and their family members, freeing them from bigoted Muggles.
- Harry should receive rudimentary training from the S.T.R.I.K.E. Psi Division in the utilization of his psionic powers, with Betsy Braddock becoming his primary mentor during that time.
- Harry’s powers should be far too vast for Rogue to do any real harm to our young hero, leading to all sorts of fun for the young heroine once she discovers that fact.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could go into the field of politics and help create the necessary change in the political sphere to see mutants treated as a proper minority group.
- Harry could snag the romantic interest of Illyana Rasputin due to their shared interest in the mystic arts, though how developed they each are in the mystical sphere is up to the author.
- There could be a scene where Dumbledore tries to force Harry back into the Dursley’s care.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry joining sides with Magneto or Voldemort.
- Harry being paired with Scott, Jean or Emma.
- Harry being involved in a male-slash pairing.
- Harry being one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes.

Blow Me To Asgard Brainstorm & Notes

Blow Me To Asgard
Premise: The day that the Master of Death arrived in Asgard marked the turning point in Lady Hela’s life, as she was pulled away from her quest for intergalactic domination and onto a path that would see her becoming the true and proper Heir to the Throne of Asgard and the Nine Realms.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must somehow find himself traveling backwards through time and across the vast emptiness of space so that he arrives on Asgard at a point when Hela is still a young woman.
- This journey was made possible by Harry’s status as the Master of Death, with Mistress Death sending her new Champion to the point in time and space where he can do the most good.
- Harry’s presence on Asgard must be discovered relatively quickly, with our young hero quickly becoming Hela’s favored suitor and eventual consort.
- Of course, this story wouldn’t be very fun if Hela ends up being imprisoned, so Harry’s presence at her side must go a long way towards calming Hela’s thirst for conquest.
- Harry must teach Hela what he knows about Midgardian magic, with the young goddess proving to be quite proficient in the artform. This could also extend to Loki later on.
- Hela must eventually give Mjolnir to Thor, after he proves to be Worthy of the Hammer and she realizes that she’s much more comfortable using magic during her battles.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should possess the ability to generate Divine Radiance, which is best exemplified by his Patronus charm. This quality could cause him to be conflated with Baldr in Norse mythology.
- This story should include elements from other mythological cycles and/or Nasuverse to provide it with more depth than would be possible if the author confined themselves to the MCU alone.
- Hela should decide to build a harem for her beloved Harry, much to his general bemusement. Bonus points will be given if a Hogwarts Founder or Helena end up as part of this harem.
Optional Inclusions:
- In a complete subversion of the actual myths, Harry and Hela could end up becoming Loki’s foster parents instead of Odin, and they will likely shower him with all the love he could want.
- This could be one of the universes where Loki is born as a girl instead of a boy.

Complications
- Curse Sworn: Mistress Death was the one to grant Harry his immortality, which means that he must follow her will if he expects to keep his immortality. Fortunately, she isn't particularly demanding in what she wishes for him to accomplish.
- Freshly Born: Harry only became immortal in recent years; he is still processing what's happened to him. He possesses a newfound sense of recklessness that extends even to situations that aren't life or death. Furthermore, Harry emits an aura of magnetic arrogance that others can pick up on. Even without sharing his deeds or displaying competence, others are more likely to believe he is willing to risk great danger, whether for them or for himself. No one will ever doubt he can remain cool-headed when staring into the abyss.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Harry believes he has become immortal for a reason, and he'll sacrifice his life time and again in his effort to live up to Albus Dumbledore's vision of the Greater Good.
- Power Loss: Harry must be capable of moving his hands and speaking the relevant incantations in order to utilize his magical abilities. Therefore, effects which restrict his mobility or prevent him from speaking can and will cause him to lose the ability to cast spells until they are nullified or removed.
- Quirk: Due to his visceral history, nothing really scares or phases Harry any longer. He's also prone to "pressing random buttons" in an attempt to figure out what all they do.

The Viceroy of Sokovia Brainstorm & Notes

The Viceroy of Sokovia
Premise: On the night that young Harry Potter was left on his maternal aunt’s doorstep, an unusual man was hidden in the shadows. This man would take Harry with him when he left for the Kingdom of Latveria, where the boy would be raised as a bona fide Prince, because that man was none other than Dr. Victor von Doom!
Required Inclusions:
- James and Lily must survive Voldemort’s attack on the Potter family, with Harry’s younger, or twin, sibling being mistakenly recognized as the “Child Who Lived.”
- As a result of this fact, Harry must be placed on the Dursley family’s doorstep, where he is found and rescued by the newest Latverian monarch, Dr. Victor von Doom.
- Victor must take Harry away and use magic to adopt him as the heir to his Kingdom, giving the boy a degree of protection from his former parents and a new name, Henrik von Doom.
- Victor must come to genuinely care for Henrik, which means he will not arrange things so that his Doom Bots use Harry in the same sort of scheme as Kristoff Vernard.
- Henrik’s primary romantic interest must be a Marvel character, with Wanda Maximoff being the preferred choice, since they have a good chance of meeting when Henrik arrives in Sokovia.
- Henrik must be at least sixteen years old when the Order of the Phoenix finally tracks him down, with his annexation of Sokovia occuring only a few months before or after this event.
- When Henrik returns to the wizarding world, he will use what he has learned as Doctor Doom’s son to his advantage while ridding the world of Voldemort’s influence.
- Henrik must be far more advanced in his studies of the Mystic Arts than his father has ever been, since it is unlikely that he is as learned as Victor in the fields of robotics and armortech.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Henrik should receive the necessary training to see him ascending to the Latverian Throne when his adoptive father inevitably passes on, which may explain his presence in Sokovia.
- Henrik should be a fair bit more benevolent than his father, even if he is still a strict ruler who takes absolutely no nonsense from anyone who is not a part of his family.
- Even though they are effectively arch enemies, Doom should name a member of the Fantastic Four as his new son’s godparent. Bonus points if it’s Susan or Ben who is given this honor.
- Henrik should either annex Sokovia himself, or else it should already be a province of Latveria by the time he is old enough to become the country’s Viceroy.
Optional Inclusions:
- Henrik could receive some training under the Ancient One alongside the likes of Doctor Stephen Strange during the time leading up to Kaecilius’ attempted coup.
- Harry’s magical abilities could undergo a mutation that allows him to use an advanced form of Legilimency, and possibly Occlumency as well, that greatly resembles Telepathy.
Forbidden Things:
- Henrik or Doom siding with Dumbledore or Voldemort.
- Henrik being involved in a male-slash pairing.
- Henrik giving up on his new abilities.
- Henrik the pathetic emo doormat.
- The Dursley’s raising Henrik.

- Destiny: It is apparently Henrik's destiny to be the one who ultimately vanquishes the dark wizard that styles himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Impulsive: Henrik is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by people who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Patriotism: Henrik is very proud to be the Prince of Latveria and will do whatever it takes in order to keep his people and family safe, even if that means he has to occasionally play the part of a supervillain.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore wishes to use Henrik as a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that the prince's death will act the catalyst which will allow the old man to swoop in and defeat the Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish!
- Relationships: Biologically, Henrik is the son of James and Lily Potter, as well as the twin brother of their only daughter, Juniper, and one of two elder siblings to their other son, Chadwick. As far as magic and mundane law are concerned, however, Henrik is the son of Doctor Victor von Doom, and Crown Prince of Latveria. In either case, he is also the godson of both Susan Storm & Sirius Orion Black.

Complications
- Honor: Wanda will always keep her word once she has given it to someone, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in her dealings.
- Lack of Control: Wanda has absolutely no formal training in the use of her magic, and is therefore prone to using it on an instinctual basis rather than in the form of prefabricated spells. This means she can sometimes cause wild and Chaotic effects that work better as plot devices than they do anything else.
- Motivation: Justice: Like her brother, Wanda wants to claim vengeance upon those who she feels are responsible for the deaths of her parents. However, her sense of honor prevents her from going too far in doing such a thing, as it would only make her into the very same sort of monster that she envisions as the guilty party.
- Temper: Wanda's temper is so infamous that the only person with worse anger management issues is the Phoenix Force itself. This is something she is trying to fix about herself, but it's not as easy as it might sound, especially since her magical abilities are fueled by her emotions!
- Troubled Teen: Wanda and her brother, Pietro Maximoff, lost their parents in a bombing that they blame on Stark Industries and the United States Military, which has in turn led to their participation in anti-American political rallies in the Sokovian capital of Novi Grad. Unfortunately, this same activism could lead to their discovery by HYDRA, and ultimately cause them to be exposed to Loki's Scepter, granting them both a surplus of superhuman abilities, in addition to Wanda's innate magical abilities. Or, they could come to the attention of Sokovia's new Viceroy. The question is who will take notice of them first?

Thunderstruck Brainstorm & Notes

Thunderstruck
Premise: Emma Frost was both annoyed and overjoyed. Her new underling was a real diamond in the rough. He was intelligent, competent and hardworking. But could he be less of a smartass? And why was she unable to read his mind? Who was Harry Potter and what did he do to have all those hussies after him?!
Required Inclusions:
- After the war with Voldemort, Harry Potter must spend the time necessary to overcome his dependency on his wand.
- In between his training sessions, he will have made peace with Gringotts, gaining access to his family’s full financial and real estate holdings.
- It turns out that the Potter and Black Holdings, while very impressive, weren’t the most valuable thing his family left him.
- His mother, Lily, had received an invitation to the very exclusive Hellfire Club and the current Lord Imperial felt magnanimous enough to pass the invitation on to her son.
- After conferring with his closest friends and family, they will come up with a plan that will usher in an age of prosperity. Harry will improve the Muggle world, while they will fix the Wixen world.
- Without the Horcrux burdening him, it turns out that learning and mastering Occlumency is now very much doable and a great tool in Harry’s arsenal.
- Harry will eventually climb the ranks of the Club and make it all the way to the position of White Knight, since the Black Queen gives him the creeps.
- It will be the mysteries surrounding Harry that will catch Emma’s attention, long enough to allow him to court her. Other women will be allowed at her sufferance only.
- Much to Emma’s surprise, Harry and her younger sister Cordelia will get along like a house on fire after he spanks the brattiness out of the younger woman.
- When Harry is becoming too annoying for her tastes, Emma will assign him to a bodyguard detail for her younger sister instead of letting him play with politics, much to Shaw’s amusement.
- Harry must “punt” an upstart back to his or her place at least once. Bonus points if this is done in the public section of the clubhouse.
Preferred Inclusions:
- SHIELD Director Nicholas Fury should be aware of the Wixen communities, and thus should know exactly who Harry is, prompting him to send someone to learn about Harry’s goals.
- Said agent should be none other than the beautiful Natasha Romanoff, since Harry’s file did say that he has a weakness for feisty redheads…
- The Wixen should be legacy mutants, which is what explains their different abilities from those of the Ancient One and her Masters of the Mystic Arts.
- Harry should immediately be aware that Natasha is more than she appears, even without knowing who she is, but he’ll let their little game continue because it’s so entertaining.
Optional Inclusions:
- Jean Grey could dump Scott Summers after catching him in bed with another woman, and end up in bed with Harry on the rebound, before ultimately joining his and Emma’s relationship.
- Either the Wixen could have a medical treatment that could give the Red Room graduates the ability to have children again, or Elixir could do so using his mutant powers.

- Harry allowing himself to be incapable of fighting.
- Harry and Emma, the pathetic emo doormats.
- Harry being involved in a male-slash pairing.

- Honor: Harry is someone who believes that "Actions speak louder than words", and that "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." He also holds that "Good is not something you are. It's something you do", which is a belief that he inherited from his mentor, Albus Dumbledore.
- Impulsive: Once someone question's Harry's courage, he'll never back down, no matter how dangerous the situation may happen to be.
- Motivation: Charity: Harry will always try to help those in need, no matter what the personal cost. His ethics are such that he'll help those in need, regardless of if they have superpowers or not, which marks him as different from the lion's share of the Hellfire Club's members.

Complications
- Familial Immunity: Emma is unable to enter the minds of her siblings, and they in turn are unable to enter her own mind using their powers. Unfortunately, this doesn't stop the siblings from trying to put each other on ice. It remains to be seen whether this affects any of the other members of her family who happen to be mutants.
- Honor: Emma is known for her ability to make friends wherever she goes, and her tendency to avoid fighting whenever possible, even though she is more than capable of ending a fight if it proves necessary.
- Motivation: Approval: Emma has a subconscious desire to gain the approval of other people, as it is one of the few ways in which she can feel good about herself. This stims from her upbringing in which she was starved for affection, and where it only came when she did something that won her the approval of her father.
- Relationships: Even though her sisters regularly try to kill her, Emma cherishes the bonds she shares with them, especially "little" Cordelia, who is actually Emma's ward due to the fact that their surviving parent is unable to properly care for the girl, and Adrienne, their eldest sister, is unwilling to do so.
- Responsibilities: Emma is the CEO of Frost Industries, the Headmistress of the Massachusetts Academy, and the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, any one of which could be considered a full time job, as such, she is a very busy woman. Somehow, she still finds time to have a social life.
- Significant Others: Emma has become incredibly curious about the newest addition to the Hellfire Club's outer court, because he is one of the only minds in existence who she is completely unable to "read." Just who is Harry Potter? She also has a vested interest in the woman known as Jean Grey, who she is actually trying to shield from the nefarious agenda of the Hellfire Club's current Black Queen.

Stormborn Brainstorm & Notes

Stormborn
Premise: Harry Potter was marked with the rune that represented the sun, which was shaped like a bolt of lightning. On top of that, he’s good with creatures of the air, an excellent flier, and feels at peace 50,000 feet in the air; that’s gotta be a coincidence right? Ha! A wise man once said “the universe is rarely so lazy.”
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must prefer to incapacitate his adversaries, even while knowing that more lethal measures will sometimes be necessary and/or unavoidable.
- Harry must possess all the strength and power that comes with being the first-born son of the Thunderer, Thor Odinson, since that is what he will be in this scenario.
- Harry must have inherited his father’s ability to manipulate weather, though he will be able to do so without the need to channel his powers through a hammer in the way that Thor does.
- When this story begins will be up to the author, but it should start with Harry discovering his heritage by accidentally causing a major thunderstorm in his immediate surroundings.
- As an Atmokinetic, Harry must also have access to the individual powers of Aerokinesis, Electrokinesis, Thermokinesis, and Hydrokinesis, since these make up his primary power.
- Harry must, at least once, use his powers to improve weather conditions for his friends and allies, while also making things worse for his adversaries.
- Because this power does not require the use of a wand, and doesn’t seem to trigger the Trace, there will be those within the Ministry who see it as a threat to the status quo.
- Harry’s mood must have the ability to influence the Enchanted Ceiling within the Hogwarts Great Hall, allowing him to do things like making it snow when he is experiencing joy.
- As the son of Thor, Harry’s primary romantic pairing must be an Asgardian or Vanir, though the author is free to choose who this character is. Additional romantic partners are permissible.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story will obviously be a crossover with Norse Mythology, but should also be a crossover with the Marvel Universe, or at the very least the Adventures of Conan.
- Harry’s primary romantic partner should be a younger and benevolent version of Amora the Enchantress, who will be willing to share Harry in this scenario if that is the author’s desire.
- Harry should be capable of flying without the assistance of a broom, much like how Ororo Munroe is capable of flying, by manipulating wind currents.
- Harry should learn how to teleport in the form of a bolt of lightning (Lightning Travel), or at least how to leap extremely long distances by using electricity as an accelerator (Arc Riding).
Optional Inclusions:
- When Harry meets his true father, he could be surprised to discover that he has a younger sister who is a member of the Young Avengers, her name being Torunn Thorsdottir.
- At the request of others, Harry could procure a focusing implement for his powers, because without one, they are wild and untamed. Said implement could be an Uru Metal weapon.

Complications
- Accident: Harry's ability to control the weather sometimes gets away from him, and can occasionally cause wild thunderstorms that he has very little conscious control over until someone points out what is happening. During this time, it is up to the Gamemaster to decide whether or not anyone in the area is struck by Lightning or how severe the weather actually is.
- Honor: Harry prefers to judge people based upon their actions, rather than their words. He will also set everything aside in order to provide assistance to someone who is in need of such.
- Impulsive: Once someone question's Harry's courage, he'll never back down, no matter how dangerous the situation.
- Motivation: Thrills: Harry believes that when people follow rules blindly, they are effectively imprisoning themselves, and thus seeks to live a life that is as free as he possibly can. This is probably due to his rather harsh upbringing.
- Obsession: Harry is determined to ensure that no one else has to suffer through the hardships that he himself has been through.
- Relationships: Harry is the eldest child of Thor Odinson, who had been "cursed" to live the life of James Potter by his brother, Loki Odinson, as well as the only child of Thor's late wife, Lily Potter (nee Evans). This means he is the elder brother of Torunn Thorsdottir, as well as the twins, Magni & Modi.
- Significant Other: Harry has begun to develop a romantic interest in the beautiful young Ravenclaw known as Amora Greengrass. This also seems to be a mutual attraction. Little does Harry know that Amora is actually an Asgardian in disguise.

New Horizons Brainstorm & Notes

New Horizons
Premise: After realizing that he couldn’t find what he was looking for in Wizarding Britain, Harry Potter leaves in search of a place where he can expand his knowledge of magic while also putting his “Saving People Thing” to good use. In doing so, he discovers an out of the way monastery known as Kamar-Taj.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must follow the ideals of the Ancient One when it comes to dealing with his adversaries, which will allow him to use lethal force against particularly malevolent foes.
- Harry must leave Great Britain and travel to Kamar-Taj at some point after Voldemort’s final defeat. Furthermore, his relationship with Ginny must end on amicable terms.
- Harry must be trained by the Sorcerer Supreme and other Masters of the Mystic Arts at around the same point in time as Doctor Stephen Strange, with the two being friendly rivals.
- Harry must initially refuse to take up the title of Sorcerer Supreme, since he has had enough of such responsibilities to last a lifetime. That said, he will still be a Master of the Mystic Arts.
- If Harry returns to Wizarding Society, then his new powers must frighten and amaze the people of his homeland, since he will now be capable of things they can scarcely imagine.
- Harry must be willing to use both Muggle and Magical conveniences in his life, and will also live in the London Sanctum once his training with the Ancient One is complete.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should be forced to take on the role of Sorcerer Supreme during the five year period between the Snap and when the Avengers reset the timeline.
- Harry should take Wanda Maximoff on as his personal apprentice after realizing that the girl has a vast well of untapped, and potentially dangerous, magical potential.
- Furthermore, Wanda should be Harry’s primary romantic interest, though other girls are permissible so long as they have Wanda’s approval.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could bond with a different Infinite Stone than the one inside the Eye of Agamotto.
- Harry could actually be a direct descendant of the Ancient One, since her original homeland seems to have been one of the British Isles.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being involved in a male-slash pairing.
- Harry’s mystical powers being diminished.
- Harry the Malevolent Emo Doormat.
