- Quirk: Daphne tends to give things she doesn't need to her worshipers as "relics" even when there is no intrinsic divine power in said objects. She also has a hard time reading social clues, and will occasionally ask inappropriate questions.
- Relationship: The most important person in Daphne's life, other than Osiris' current vessel, is her younger sister Astoria, and it is her honor and duty to see the young woman safe from all that would harm her.

Complications
- Arrogance: Nephthys expects other, lesser, beings to refer to her as 'the divine one', 'your grace' or similar, and may very well throw a tantrum when someone fails to do such a thing. Furthermore, her time spent in Heliopolis has led to a belief that her opinions are far more important than those of her mortal peers.
- Cursed: Due to the disharmony between Pansy's soul and Nephthys' divine essence, the girl's mortal body will degrade over the course of a few decades until nothing can be done but to watch as Pansy slips off the mortal coil. The goddess, however, will persist and be capable of bonding with another vessel.
- Motivation: Love: Nephthys wants nothing more out of life than the affection of Osiris' current vessel, which just so happens to be Harry Potter, the Man Who Conquered!
- Obsession: Nephthys is looking for a way to extend Pansy's life, so that her current vessel will not die from the causes outlined in her Cursed complication.
- Quirk: Nephthys has a deep attraction and curiosity towards demons and darker powers. After all, who wouldn't want to have a taste from a forbidden fruit?

- For whatever reason, Harry must accompany Arthur and Mera on their search for the Trident of Atlan, with a possible romantic interest for Harry making an appearance during this quest.

Duke of Sokovia Brainstorm & Notes

Duke of Sokovia
Premise: On the night that young Harry Potter was left on his maternal aunt’s doorstep, an unusual man was hidden in the shadows. This man would take Harry with him when he left for the Kingdom of Latveria, where the boy would be raised as a bona fide Prince, because that man was none other than Dr. Victor von Doom!
Required Inclusions:
- James and Lily must survive Voldemort’s attack on the Potter family, with Harry’s younger sibling being accidentally named as the “Child Who Lived.”
- As a result of this fact, Harry must be placed on the Dursley family’s doorstep, where he is found and rescued by the newest Latverian monarch.
- Victor must take Harry away and use magic to adopt him as the heir to his Kingdom, giving the boy a degree of protection from his former parents and a new name, Henrik von Doom.
- Victor must come to genuinely care for Henrik, which means he will not resort to the sort of inheritance tactics that he planned to use with Kristoff Vernard in the comics.
- Henrik’s primary romantic interest must be a Marvel character, with Wanda Maximoff being the preferred choice, since they have a good chance of meeting when Henrik arrives in Sokovia.
- Henrik must be at least sixteen years old when the Order of the Phoenix finally tracks him down, with his annexation of Sokovia occuring only a few months before or after this event.
- When Henrik returns to Wizarding Britain, he will use the abilities he acquired as Doctor Doom’s son in addition to his magical powers in order to win the war with Voldemort.
- Henrik must wear a suit of mystical armor that, among other things, grants him the ability to fly. This armor and any accompanying weapons, must be extremely frightening for the wandwavers.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Henrik must receive the necessary training to see him ascending to the Latverian Throne when his adoptive father inevitably passes on. This could even explain his presence in Sokovia.
- Henrik should be a fair bit more benevolent than his father, even if he is still a strict ruler who takes absolutely no nonsense from anyone who is not a part of his family.
- Even though they are effectively arch enemies, Doom should name a member of the Fantastic Four as his new son’s godparent. Bonus points if Susan Storm is given this honor.
- Henrik should either annex Sokovia himself, or else it should already be a province of Latveria by the time he is old enough to take over the country’s governance.
Optional Inclusions:
- Henrik’s magical armor could have a glamour placed upon it that allows the monstrous outfit to appear as something benign, such as a t-shirt and jeans.
- In addition to his armor, weapons and magic, Henrik could have a random mutation that gives him abilities that he wouldn’t normally have access to.
Forbidden Things:
- Henrik or Doom siding with Dumbledore or Voldemort.
- Henrik being involved in a male slash pairing.
- Henrik giving up on his new abilities.
- Henrik the pathetic emo doormat.
- The Dursley’s raising Henrik.

Ex Umbra in Solem
Premise: There are many things which go bump in the night, and not all of them come from Gotham City. One of the good things decided to make it his mission to hunt down and exterminate the bad before they can cause too much harm. His name was Harry Potter, and he is now known as the Phantom King.
Required Inclusions:
- The interdimensional space known as the Phantom Zone must be a nexus between realities that allows for interdimensional travel, in addition to its role as Krypton’s Supermax Prison.
- At some point in his life, Harry Potter must awaken a talent for a form of shadow magic that draws upon the essence of the Phantom Zone.
- The shadows of the Phantom Zone must bear similarities to the Dark Force from Marvel Comics in that it can be weakened by the Light of Creation and Flamebird’s fire magic.
- Most, if not all, of the Phantom Zoners have absolutely no affinity for this form of magic, so Harry won’t be threatened by the Zoners during his many visits to the Phantom Zone.
- While Harry won’t be the official warden of the Phantom Zone, the fact remains that it will be due to his interdimensional portals that a Zoner escapes, forcing him to take responsibility.
- The identity of the Phantom Zone’s escapee will be left up to the author, but it is recommended that it be a malevolent version of Lor-Zod, the eldest son of Dru-Zod.
- While Harry can use wizarding magic, a wooden wand will be a liability against Kryptonians and Speedsters, causing him to rely on his Shadow Magic more than his Wizarding spells.
- Harry must be on par with Conner Kent from the first season of Young Justice, both in terms of his combat skills and his physical strength, when the story begins.
- Harry’s primary romantic interest must be Kara Zor-El, though other girls are permissible should they secure Kara’s approval.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should have a stock of potions on hand, one of which is the Draught of Living Death, which he force feeds to the Joker as an expedient solution to the man’s many atrocities.
- Harry’s local counterpart should be a beautiful young woman, with her mother still being alive and equally attractive. Bonus points if Harry seduces them both.
- Harry should be the one who goes to fetch either Kara or Clark after they are unexpectedly shunted into the Phantom Zone, or else if they end up on Apokolips.
- Harry should have already encountered Brainiac at least once prior to his arrival on Earth, and he should escape to tell the tale, since the Bio-Computer isn’t very knowledgeable about magic.
Optional Inclusions:
- Rachel “Raven” Roth could be quite miffed about the fact that Harry’s shadow magic trumps her own in a wide variety of ways, but also equally attracted to the young wizard.
- During his many layovers in the Phantom Zone, Harry could enjoy mocking General Zod's obsession with making men kneel in front of him instead of women.

- Someone managing to steal Harry’s magic, since it is hereditary.
- Harry officially joining the JLA or another superhero group.
- Harry being purposefully negligent with his portals.

The Black Sapphire Saga Brainstorm & Notes

The Black Sapphire Saga
Premise: When Dumbledore left Harry Potter on the Dursley family’s doorstep, the last thing he had expected was for the young wizard to be found by Bellatrix Lestrange, who was, herself, quickly set upon by a bright violet gemstone that came from the sky; one which would irrevocably change not just her own life, but that of young Harry as well!
Required Inclusions:
- Bellatrix’s marriage to Rodolphus Lestrange must be a loveless endeavor that was enacted by her father and husband without her input.
- Bellatrix must begin to lose her faith in love near the end of Voldemort’s first reign of terror, with her presence in Little Whinging on that fateful night having something to do with this fact.
- Bellatrix must somehow end up on Privet Drive during the same night on which Harry was left with the Dursley family, with the woman quickly finding and comforting the young child.
- A Star Sapphire Gemstone must appear to Bellatrix once she has collected Harry from the Dursley family’s doorstep and begin her conversion into an Agent of the Zamorans.
- The Gem must somehow affect both Bellatrix and Harry, with the former ultimately deciding to raise our protagonist as though he were her own son.
- Bellatrix must take Harry and leave Britain behind, raising him in another country of the author’s choosing, while also acting as a part-time superhero.
- Bellatrix must teach Harry everything that she knows about magic, preferring to teach him from home rather than sending him to one of the formal schools for magic.
- Harry must remain aloof to the British magical communities until the culmination of the Triwizard Tournament, which need not be why he returns to that corner of the world.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Lily’s sacrificial magic should alter Bella’s Star Sapphire Gem so that she can embody the true unconditional nature of love, rather than the yandere version shown by other Star Sapphires.
- Bellatrix should be capable of channeling her magic through her Star Sapphire Gem as though it were a wand, with Harry himself demonstrating proficiency in wandless magic.
- Bellatrix should join the Justice League, with only a few issues being raised when she is compared to Star Sapphire (Carol Ferris), while Harry should join the Teen Titans.
- Harry should be paired with at least one of the following: Raven, Barbara Gordon, Starfire, Blackfire, Wonder Girl (Either), Supergirl, Zatanna, Ghia’ta, and/or Fleur Delacour.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could be the current Avatar for the Predator Entity, with Bellatrix being classified as the Star Sapphire version of the Alpha Lanterns, which could be dubbed the Black Sapphires.

- Honor: Harry refuses to use the transformative properties of his crystallization power, because he believes that forcing someone to experience completely foreign and mind-altering levels of love is cruel and against their best interests.

- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore wishes to find Harry so that he can sculpt the young Sorcerer into a sacrificial lamb that can be thrown at Voldemort in hopes that his death will act as catalyst which will allow the old goat to swoop in and defeat the so-called Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish.
- Relationships: Harry is the son of the late Lord James & Lady Lily of House Potter, and also the adoptive son of Lady Bellatrix of House Black. He is also romantically involved with a young woman known as Fleur Delacour, who lives in the house down the lane from Chateau Black, and also with Princesses Koriand'r Tykayl and Ghia'ta of Zamaron.
- Responsibility: Harry is the Avatar for the Cosmic Entity which represents the universal concept known as Love, and as such is personally responsible for protecting the Champions of Love from those who wish to remove the concept of love from the hearts and minds of all who dwell in the universe, such as Thaal Sinestro.

Complications
- Guy Magnet: As a Veela and Black Sapphire, Fleur is a living, breathing, incarnation of this concept.
- Honor: As is the case with Harry, Fleur will refuse to use the transformative properties of her Crystallization power, not because she sees anything wrong with the ability, but because she knows that using the power in such a way would bring dishonor to her beloved Harry.
- Motivation: Protector: Not only is Fleur in love with Harry Potter, but he is the one she has recognized as her Mate, which means his happiness is of supreme importance to Fleur and that she will do what she can to ensure that he is always safe from harm. This is ironic, since it is his job as the Predator to protect her from anything that would do her harm, meaning that there is occasionally friction in their relationship, especially in regards to the Triwizard Tournament.
- Relationships: Fleur is the eldest daughter of Apolline and Jacques Delacour, and therefore the elder sister of Gabrielle Delacour.
- Weakness: Fleur is considered to be a Fey Spirit, in spite of her human father, and thus subject to the standard weaknesses of the Fair Folk, such as taking an additional degree of damage from wrought iron weapons, and being unable to use her magic to manipulate said objects.

It occurs to me that mixing magic with the Lantern Rings just doesn't work out in a way that gives me reasonable builds, so I may not be building the Lanterns ever again.

Angel of Perdition
Premise: There had always been more to Lily Evans than anyone ever knew. She wasn’t just a prodigious witch; after all, what sort of witch was born within the fires of the Nine Hells? What is more, her son, Harry Potter, was born from the union of a demoness and a wizard! And now, for the rest of the story…
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be the Half-Fiend son of Lady Jezebel, the daughter of Mephistopheles, who had spent her formative years masquerading as the mortal witch, Lily Evans.
- Jezebel must be severely inconvenienced by the destruction of her mortal body at the hands of Lord Voldemort on that fateful Halloween, making it impossible for her to raise her son.
- This story must be a crossover with either the Marvel comics universe, or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the author getting to choose which is in play for this story.
- Due to her demonic nature, Jezebel must be unable to return to the mortal world for between 10 to 20 years after the destruction of her mortal body; author’s choice on the exact length.
- Harry must be immune to the process that made him a Horcrux in the canonical series, which means an alternative solution to Nagini’s attack on Arthur Weasley will need to be found.
- If this story is set in the MCU, then Harry must be involved in either the Chitauri Invasion of Manhattan, or else the Battle of Greenwich.
- Both Blackheart, and Mephisto himself, must take a noted interest in Harry, since the young man will be something of a wild card in their assorted villainous plots.
- Jezebel (Lily) must truly love Harry, so much so, in fact, that she will regularly infiltrate his dreams so that they can have time to properly “bond” with one another.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should have a massive case of wanderlust that causes him to pack up his things and leave on a vacation during each of his summer breaks from Hogwarts.
- Harry’s powers should be similar to those of the fabled Ghost Riders; however, he should lack the fine control of Johnny Blaze and his ilk, since Harry isn’t possessed by Zarathos.
- The prophecy concerning the Dark Lord and Harry should be false, for all that this fact will help Harry, since Voldemort will be relentless in trying to kill the boy.
- Either Albus Dumbledore or Molly Weasley should attempt to read Harry the “Riot Act” for leaving England without “proper authorization” from “responsible adults.”
Optional Inclusions:
- Since their powers are derived from similar sources, Harry could become romantically involved with Wanda Maximoff, who is the “Avatar” of Chthon, the Elder God of Chaos.
- Harry could end up becoming romantically involved with several beautiful young women, at least a few of which have formed a cult-like following around Harry and his mother.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry joining Voldemort, the Death Eaters or other villains.
- Harry being involved in a male-slash pairing.
- Harry the pathetic emo doormat.
