The wolf howls again, clawing at its snout, unable to, in its frenzied state, understand where the pain is coming from. In it's helpless fury, it finally slams its head against a nearby tree, felling it..before falling down itself.

((Another spectacularly bad roll from me. Two times staggered makes one time incapacitated. For now, its going down.))

The alpha falters in its steps as suddenly, a large sharp-toothed grin appears in thin air, followed by a massive cat slamming into its face and clawing away.
" Sorrrry forrr the absence...forrrgot my silver claws", it purrs, laying into the man-beast.

((Adeleth's turn))

With all the chatter about silver, Adeleth switches to the silver ammo and fires at the biggest, nearest target.

Amy

"Alma, Dark Pulse on the wolves and pray it works!" she said as she palmed her own silver knife and readied herself to fight the wolves to the best of her ability. Hopefully the extra practice the head priest insisted she take paid off. As he put it, if she continued to get into world shaking trouble, she ought to be able to defend herself at close range. He was right of course... She still didn't like it much though. She much preferred hitting the bad guys at a distance. It made dodging easier.

Alma sighed and did as she was told. "Honestly, we should stick to ghosts, you tend to pick on things well outside of our PL!"

Ren chuckled. "Oh quit whining. It's extra EXP!" The psychotic little mouse was practically vibrating with bloodlust and the sheer joy of the fight.

"And you're not helping!" Peekaboo retorted.

Adeleth fires at the Alpha and where other attacks have simply bounced off, the silver bullet slams into his hide, burying itself deep!
He's at -1 toughness because I rolled well, but to Adeleth it is obvious that their superhuman toughness does not protect them from the silver
The other four werewolves who are still standing charge forward, claws slashing!
Each one of you gets one attack from a slavering murder-beast
Viv: 19, if that hits, DC 22 to resist
Adeleth: 17, if that hits, DC 22
Lilly: 10, doubt that it hits. If it does, DC 22
Amy: 19. if that hits, DC 22
Alma's dark pulse strikes the closest werewolf, but unfortunately, the effect is negligible...
-1 toughness

Lilly Lulabye
Hero Points: 2; Current Condition: Fine

OOC: A 10 does indeed miss Lilly's defence of 6. However, she is also hiding up in a tree behind and above the werewolves (as per this) with her routine Stealth of 26, in the hope of getting the drop on them. If they attacked her up there anyway then so be it of course...

Lilly, with her silver knuckledusters at the ready, teleports directly behind the lead werewolf, where it is hopefully unaware of her, and performs an All Out Power Attack on it before teleporting back to where she was hiding up in the trees [OOC: Turnabout].

OOC: Lilly attacks the lead werewolf: 1D20+8 = [18]+8 = 26; if that hits then it's DC 23 to resist the damage, which like Adeleth's is also silver-based.

Amy
The attack does indeed hit the girl (Amy has a save of 6 so yeah...), but the Force was with her, lining her body with a blue glow that seemed to come from within her, absorbing the force of the claws and so the blow does no damage. She returns the favor, striking the wolf with her own silver knife. Her expression is cold, calm and controlled as she starts the old, familiar death-dance where only one partner would emerge victorious. She hated remembering those old fights, sabers and lightning... She mentally shook herself, as she ducked out of the way of a wild claw sweep, at once both graceful and seemingly clumsy, almost too fast to track.

"Ren, Ice Beam on the wolf again, it seems to be doing something." she sighed. "Peekaboo, delay. Unless you got silver, nothing will work."

The psychotic mouse eagerly let's loose with a super-cold blast of frozen water aiming at the nearest wolf. "Eat hell sh= for brains!" Ren shouted.

Viv DeLaCourte (Harbinger)

Viv was by no means an expert hand-to-hand combatant, and she wasn't much more durable than a normal person, but luck could be as good as skill, when it held out. As the werewolf charged towards her she pivoted just enough- the claws looked they were about to gut her but only ended up shredding her loose-fitting jacket...

Lilly slams her knuckleduster-enveloped fist into the Alpha's kidney, eliciting a furious howl from him, the silver burning the skin and making him feel the impact.

But before he can react, the godling is already gone again...
And there is the small matter of the oversized cat clawing at his face...
-1 toughness and dazed
Despite Cheshire's nimbleness, the Alpha manages to grab the tomcat and slam it against a nearby tree, briefly turning its grin upside-down...
Amy, you hit, what's the toughness DC for your attack?

Damage +1 Crit Range 19-20, Damage descriptor Piercing. Affects Lycanthropes and Shapeshifters
She did manage to make a crit-hit. She also has a +6 close attack.

The knife cuts into the wolf's furry skin with surprising ease, leaving a bloody gash. Silver really is a bane for them.
-2 Toughness
Unfortunately, the ice beam only leaves a layer of frost on its fur without any further effect this time.

Viv DeLaCourte (Harbinger)

Viv had no desire to engage in a straight-up fight with a werewolf. Even as she managed to endure the first strike, she bolted back out of melee range and behind a convenient tree. But just because she didn't want to actually fight didn't mean she couldn't help- she leaned back around the other side of the tree long enough to take a shot at the lead werewolf- her rounds weren't silver, but the beast wouldn't know that (especially after several of her teammates HAD employed silvered weaponry). And her shot wasn't meant to injure- just to distract long enough for Lilly to take another attack...

>OOC: Aid (Attack) for Lilly against the lead werewolf. Base DC 10, 1d20+6= 23, roll https://orokos.com/roll/944572 . With her Teamwork, that is more than the 3 degrees needed for full effect

>SO if Lilly does attack the lead werewolf this round, she gets a +5 attack bonus as it is obviously distracted.

Cheshire groans as it stands up again. " That was meowxceptionally rrrude, good sirrr. Time to take you down a peg."
With a loud snarl, the oversized cat curls together into a ball and barrels into the Alpha's legs...actually tripping the man-beast and sending him to the ground!
Alpha is prone. Adeleth's turn

Amy

"How badly are you hurt Cheshire?" Amy asked as she managed to avoid the wolf in front of her from trying to kill her for now.
