Nightbird

The Shadow Clan member avoids your blow, sliding to side side across the ground.

As Imogen moves away, the eyes of her opponent follow her exactly.
15 is a miss

Moonlight
HP: 2 LP: 1
Condition: -1 Toughness [heals in 3 rounds]

Aranel can clearly see all of them, back home your senses had to be sharp to notice the dangers of the forest. But she wanted to play with them a little. "Oh no, whatever will I do? The bad shadow men have completely disappeared, just where can they be?" A stone column rises beneath the most injured of their foes, slowly at first but suddenly slamming upward in a burst of speed. "I had a harder time finding my cousins during games of hide and go seek."

Moonlight

Stone rises up under her opponent, but he rolls off gracefully and lands on the ground like a cat ready to strike.

Shadow Clan

The two Shadow Clan members fighting Nightbird and Moonlight pop-up out of the ground and skate across the ground like it's ice and slash at the two women before disappearing back into the shadows.

The one Gelert has been targeting also rises up and skates around before throwing shadow darts at Gelert before also sinking back into the ground and disappearing.

The one fighting Amethyst rises and and moves up to Moonlight threatening to attack her from behind.

If you fail, you have to attack him. If your attack misses, make a second attack check.

Amethyst
Condition: Fatigued, -1 / HP: 1

Amethyst scans her field of view alertly, looking for the ninja that's slunk away from her. But nothing in the radar overlay of her HUD looks remotely like a human shape. Her capacitor indicator is slowly filling up as the seconds tick by, and yet nothing--

"There!" It takes a fraction of a second for her to warp in her blaster pistols, aim at the red reticule in her field of vision and open fire with both guns. Sizzling blue blaster bolts streak across the space between them and an instant too late Amethyst realizes Moonlight is just behind the ninja she's shooting at.

OOC

AA Amethyst Deception DC 29: 1D20+10 = [2]+10 = 12
Failed

AA Amethyst attack vs Shadow Clan 5: 1D20+12 = [14]+12 = 26

I don't think that is a miss. But since I am low on HP, but if you will give me a HP for that we can turn that into a miss instead.

If you agree, or in case that is actually a miss:
AA Amethyst attack #2 vs Shadow Clan 5: 1D20+12 = [9]+12 = 21

Amethyst

The Shadow Clan member tries to move out of the way leaving Moonlight in the way of the blaster bolt, but Amy's targeting allows Michelle to blast the man.

Even still, his movements cause the bolts to only singe him on the arm.

Well since Gelert can't find the sneaky ninjas this round, he's going to use his ranged healing on Amethyst.
Healing 10 (Increased Range: ranged) Healing check DC10, 1d20+10: 26 I think that's 4 degree of success which should be plenty to remove her conditions.

One of the shadow darts thrown by the shadowclan smacks Gelert right in the nose. His shields blunt most of the attack but it still hurts.
As he shakes his head he finds he's lost track of where the Shadowclan are hiding! Growling in frustration he turns from offence to support and gives the fatigued Amethyst a healing boost.

Nightbird
HP: 1 LP: 1
Condition: Bruise x 1

Noticing the eyes of her foe following her even when she slipped into the shadows, Imogen was quietly impressed that these assailants were more competent than she had given them credit for.

A quick glance confirmed that the only one she could still see was the foe sent reeling from Amethyst's blasts and this was too good an opportunity to turn down.

Moving into melee range Imogen took a moment to line her foe up before delivering an inside out crescent kick.

Moonlight's ninja moves overwhelm the injured man. The kick send him flying away from Moonlight and crashing into the ground.

Moonlight
HP: 2 LP: 0
Condition: -1 Toughness [heals in 2 rounds]

The attack from the shadow warrior seems to wash over her to no effect leaving her unharmed. "You going to have to do better than that." Moonlight couldn't see the shadow warrior who attacked her before, but the one who had been fighting Nightbird was clear as day. She tries to send a bolt of lightning down on them, but her inexperience with using that element of nature causes it to go wild and miss completely.

Shadow Clan

All three remaining Shadow Clan members appear and throw a coordinated attack of shadowy darts at Gelert before disappearing again.

Amethyst
Condition: -1, Fatigued > Fatigued / HP: 1

Being cut by the ninjas' shadow blade was an indescribable experience: it passed through her without leaving a mark on her sweater or skin, but yet her vitals were scrambled, as though it had cut some part of her that wasn't made of flesh and blood.

Being healed by Gelert is like the same thing but in reverse - the blue light descends on her, followed by an electric tingling sensation, and a gentle warmth spreads through her limbs and veins. She mysteriously feels made whole again, as though she'd peeled off the dressing on a wound and was feeling the unbroken skin beneath once more. "Thanks," she gasps.

She takes aim with her blaster pistols at the closest ninja that was hurling darts at Gelert, but the foe's silhouette is too indistinct, and after the last one tried to bait her into shooting Moonlight she is wary of inadvertently hitting the hound of hope.

"These definitely aren't bog-standard villain mooks," she comments. Coordinating like that, utilizing stealth and subterfuge, not to mention their weird ninja magic, these were certainly a step up from your typical disposable evil minions.

OOC

Amethyst is healed of her -1 penalty. She's still fatigued, since normal healing doesn't restore that.

AA Amethyst Perception DC24: 1D20+10 = [11]+10 = 21
Nope. No ninjas anywhere in sight.

Instead, Amethyst will prepare a readied attack against the next ninja to show themself by moving (trigger = she can accurately perceive any of shadow clan 2, 3 or 4).

AA Amethyst Readied attack vs Shadow Clan: 1D20+12 = [2]+12 = 14
Hmm, it's a miss in any event. If it was a hit, it would've been DC 27 toughness.

(I can't remember what their different levels of sustained damage are, So I can't really specify which one I'm targeting.)

In a blur of shields and aerial dodging, Gelert avoids the shower of shadow darts.
He sniffs the air, getting a scent lock before firing a blast at one of the Ninjas.
