- Disability: Naruto is missing one of his arms, and is therefore considered to be Disabled on all skill checks requiring the use of both arms unless he is actively employing his Absorbing Arm.
- Honor: Naruto prefers to judge people by their actions, not their words. He also has a tendency to lend a helping hand whenever he comes across someone that is in need of some assistance.
- Motivation: Freedom: Naruto believes that tyrants must be opposed so that they can no longer oppress the common people.

Complications
- Cultural Awkwardness: Yasaka has spent so long trapped within the confines of the Kyoto Youkai Palace that she has little practical experience when dealing when dealing with the people outside her cloistered world view.
- Honor: Yasaka can, and usually will, find common ground between the fiercest of enemies and will always try to empathize with them and work towards a peaceful resolution to any conflict.
- Motivation: Tradition: Yasaka believes that the ancient traditions of her people must be upheld at all costs, which is why she has consented to a political marriage between herself and Uzumaki Naruto.
- Responsibility: Yasaka will go to extreme lengths in order to protect Kyoto and the people who reside in that community, regardless of what species they may happen to be.
- Weakness: Yasaka will become Fatigued when forced to operate outside the city limits of Kyoto for an hour, and then Exhausted if she stays outside the city for an additional hour, before being rendered Incapacitated at the start of the next hour. Furthermore, she'll gain the Dying condition if she isn't immediately transported back to Kyoto after losing consciousness.

Complications
- Cautious: Kuroka always has a plan for what to do when things go wrong, and usually tries to avoid engaging an enemy in fisticuffs unless she has no other alternative.
- Infernal Aversions: The power of prayer acts against Devils as an aversive force, requiring them to make an opposed Will Resistance check against the person who is praying or be forced to get as far away from that person as possible. Furthermore, Churches also emit a similar aversive aura, forcing the Devil to make a DC 15 Will Check or stay as far away from the structure as they can.
- Motivation: Protector: Kuroka is loyal to her friends and family, not to any ideals, and everyone else in the world could take a trip down the Styx for all that she cares.
- Power Loss: Damage caused by Holy Objects is considered to be Incurable against Devils, requiring special treatments to effect recovery. Furthermore, Devils lose access to their Infernal Durability against such attacks.
- Prejudice: Kuroka killed Zayin Naberius, who was the King of her former Peerage, as well as most of the other members of that group, simply because Zayin threatened to perform inhumane experiments on Kuroka's younger sister. Unfortunately, Zekram Bael doesn't seem to care what reasons she had, and has therefore labeled her as an SS-class Stray Devil, which is basically the same thing as saying that she is "Wanted, Dead or Alive."
- Quirk: Kuroka always seems to be in control of her emotions, no matter the situation; she is not one to raise her voice or let her temper get the better of her. First & Greatest Brainstorm and Notes

First & Greatest
Premise: Long ago, in a time that has been lost to the mists of faded memories, there lived a great king. He ruled over the cradle of human civilization, possessed everything the world had to offer, and wielded enough power to shatter the gods. He was a hero, monster, tyrant, noble king, and both mortal & immortal. He was the oldest hero of humanity, and now… He’s back!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be the reincarnation of the ancient Hero King known as Gilgamesh, and while the author doesn’t need to use the Nasuverse version, it is the preferred choice.
- Exactly how much Harry is influenced by his prior incarnation will be left up to the author’s preference, however his personality should be in line with his predecessor.
- Harry must have access to the Gate of Babylon and all the treasures contained therein. This means he’ll never be wanting for material wealth, nor will he be lacking in resources.
- Harry must refer to someone as a “mongrel” at least once throughout the duration of this story, as it is completely in character for the reincarnation of the preferred version of Gilgamesh.
- Harry, as Gilgamesh’s reincarnation, must have an incredibly violent reaction to the discovery of Voldemort’s Horcruxes; especially the ones imbued into priceless relics of the past!
- Harry must have a harem, even if only a small one, since he is the reincarnation of a king who possessed everything the world had to offer…
Preferred Inclusions:
- Enkidu should also have a reincarnation in the modern era, and bonus points will be given if that reincarnation prefers to present themselves as a female (see Nasuverse for explanation).
- If Nasuverse is used, then Har-gamesh should get involved in one of the Grail Wars, or alternatively, he could simply encounter Tohsaka Rin at some point during the story.
- If this story is not directly linked to Nasuverse then Ishtar should make an appearance in the story, and she should be wearing her Nasuverse appearance.
Optional Inclusions:
- Other heroes from the distant past could be reincarnated into the modern era, even if this technically defies how things are supposed to work in the Nasuverse setting.
- Wizarding Society could easily regard Gilgamesh as history’s very first Dark Lord.

Complications
- Arrogant: Harry believes that he sits at a higher station than everyone else in the world, and that no one else, except for his chosen consorts and Enkidu, even deserves to be in the same building as him. Of course, he's not exactly willing to follow through on this belief, since it would deprive him of a sizeable portion of the world's pleasures.
- Honor: Although the people of Uruk are long gone, Harry still holds true to the ideals of a fair and just ruler. Included in these ideals is a strong urge to protect those he claims as his subjects, even at the cost of his own life.
- Motivation: Thrills: Harry remembers what life was like at the dawn of human civilization, and is very eager to enjoy all the pleasures that the modern world has to offer.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore wishes to use Harry as a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that the boy's death will act the catalyst which will allow the old man to swoop in and defeat the Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish!

Contractually Yours
Premise: The Phenex-Gremory marriage contract was never meant to bind Rias to Riser in unholy matrimony. But the original Phenex recipient of the contract was kidnapped as a baby, never to be found nor heard from again. That is until Rias Gremory won her freedom from Riser in a Rating Game. Good luck Harry Potter; you’re going to need it!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must actually be the third-born son of the Phenex family, with Riser taking the place of the second-born son in this scenario.
- The marriage contract between the Phenex and Gremory clans was magically binding, and therefore not something that can easily be broken.
- Unfortunately, this is something that Lord Gremory neglected to tell his daughter, which will no doubt infuriate Rias once she figures out the truth of the matter.
- Years ago, the Phenex family suffered a tragedy, as their third son was abducted, and seemingly lost in the ensuing scuffle located in the human world.
- Years later, due to an act of fate or sheer happenstance, the seemingly inert contract becomes active once more, just after Rias has won her freedom from Riser.
- Rias will naturally feel the contract’s pull on her magic, sending her on a crusade for more information, even while across the globe, her intended remains woefully ignorant of these facts.
- The devil toddler who would become known as Harry Potter was found wandering alone in the wilderness by the newlyweds, James and Lily Potter.
- The couple must be quick to adopt Harry after failing to find his parents, and they must place a binding on his magic after witnessing his incredibly powerful and destructive accidental magic.
- Harry will initially have no knowledge of the wider supernatural community due to the fact that Wizarding Society is about as xenophobic as a magical community can ever hope to be.
- Furthermore, Harry’s magical maturation at age 17 will unlock the binding that was placed on his magic, giving him full access to his powers and linking him to the aforementioned contract.
- By the time Harry realizes what is going on with his magic (the pull of the contract), it will be much too late for him to do anything but marry Rias or lose his magic, and thus his life.
- Naturally, Harry and Rias won’t get along at first, but they must eventually settle their differences and enter into a happy and loving marriage with one another.
- Furthermore, to ensure the marriage produces an heir, Rias and Harry will be unable to have relations with anyone else until after they have already consummated their marriage.
- For all of his skill on the battlefield, Harry must be utterly abysmal when it comes time for backroom dealing and politics, meaning he’ll have to rely on his Lady Wife for such things.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Riser should demonstrate how benevolent he is as an elder brother by trading Xuelan and Mihae to Harry once our young hero has secured his own set of Evil Pieces.
- Rias should be both elated and very put out by the fact that she simply can’t seduce Harry to do her bidding like she can with Issei; but at least her future husband is strong willed.
- Harry should be rather unfazed by Grayfia and Venelana’s methods of intimidation. After walking hand in hand with Death, they just aren’t all that scary.
- Harry should use the Phenex family’s control over wind in order to use Lightning magic at the same time as his familial control over fire.
- Harry should eventually be seen as the Underworld’s ambassador to Wizarding Society, since their wards can confound even the most seasoned of devils.
- It should be Issei, of all people, who sits both Harry and Rias down and makes them understand that they need to work together if they don’t want to be eternally miserable.
Optional Inclusions:
- One of the main disagreements between Rias and Harry could be over the topic of where they’ll live. Rias would want to spend her time split between Japan and the Underworld, while Harry would want to spend most of his time living in Great Britain.
- Since Harry lacks the prejudices of other Devils, he could have a far easier time forming friendships with members of the other Factions. Bonus points if this leads to a romance.
- Lord and Lady Phenex could be downright horrified with Harry’s plans to become an Auror.

- Harry’s ladies having an easy time teaching him courtly behavior.
- Harry’s reunion with his true family going entirely smoothly.

Complications
- Fame: Harry is famous within wizarding society for the part he played in vanquishing the dark wizard who styled himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word once he has given it, strives to uphold the common good and is never underhanded in his business dealings.
- Infernal Aversions: The power of prayer acts against Devils as an aversive force, requiring them to make an opposed Will Resistance check against the person who is praying or be forced to get as far away from that person as possible. Furthermore, Churches emit a similar aversive aura, forcing the Devil to make a DC 15 Will check or stay as far away from the structure as they can.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect and heal others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend the lives of innocents, as well as those he cares about.
- Power Loss: Damage caused by Holy Water, Holy Light & Blessed Objects is considered to be Incurable against Devils, requiring special treatments to effect recovery, and Harry is unable to use his Phenex Immortality to recover from such injuries. Furthermore, Devils lose access to their Infernal Durability against such attacks.
- Relationships: Harry retains a strong loyalty to past friends, such as Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. He is also the godfather of Theodore 'Teddy' Lupin and as such, is on call in case Teddy's grandmother needs him for any reason.
- Significant Other: Harry has recently discovered that he is involved in an outstanding betrothal contract with a young woman known as Rias Gremory that will prevent him from being intimate with anyone, Rias included, until they are married and ready to consummate their newly life together. Ironically, the contract doesn't actually stop him from seeking satisfaction elsewhere once the consummation clause has been satisfied; however, the same can't be said for Rias.

- Guy Magnet: Rias is one of the three most popular girls at Kuoh Academy, and will therefore attract male attention wherever she goes on the campus.
- Infernal Aversions: The power of prayer acts against Devils as an aversive force, requiring them to make an opposed Will Resistance check against the person who is praying or be forced to get as far away from that person as possible. Furthermore, Churches emit a similar aversive aura, forcing the Devil to make a DC 15 Will check or stay as far away from the structure as they can.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Rias feels it is her duty to ensure the safety and well-being of each and every single member of her Peerage, and will do whatever it takes in order to protect them, even if it means making them angry with her in order to accomplish that goal.

- Motivation: Responsibility: As an Angel, Gabriel is required to provide aid to good-hearted folks and uphold the cause of the Heavenly Father.

- Addiction: Rose is Fortitude Disabled when attempting to resist the effects of alcoholic beverages, and will never be capable of benefitting from the effects of an immunity to intoxication. - Enemy: Euclid Lucifuge wishes to use Rose's knowledge to aid in his attempts to release 666 (Trihexa), even if that means killing the girl or her friends and loved ones in the process of reaching his goals.

Premise: What if Lily Evans was actually Lilith Pheles, daughter of Mephisto Pheles? What if the events in the Forbidden Forest in 1998 caused Harry's devil blood to awaken? How will the Underworld react to the fact that there is a new heir to the Extra Demon House of Pheles?
Required Inclusions:
- Lily Potter must have actually been the daughter of Mephisto Pheles, who moved into the mortal world at a young age in order to learn about human magicals.
- When Harry was born, Lily used magic to conceal his nature as a Half-Devil, so that he would not be at risk from more than the Dark Lord who was after his blood.
- That seal must break at some point after his seventeenth birthday, when he will be capable of protecting himself from both the Church Exorcists and Fallen Angels.
- Mephisto must find Harry after the seal breaks and welcome him into the House of Pheles as his one true heir, and teach him what he’ll need to know as the Scion of an Extra Demon Clan.
- Harry must have access to his own set of Evil Pieces at some point prior to the start of High School DxD’s canonical events, with Yubelluna becoming Harry’s Queen instead of Riser’s.
- Yubelluna must be Harry’s primary romantic interest, though she most definitely won’t be his only romantic interest, as this story is set in the world of High School DxD.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should meet Rias and Sona at a political party where he is being introduced to Devil Society, since Mephisto has never had an heir before, so his introduction is a big deal.
- Harry and Mephisto should have a few arguments over possible marriage contracts, since the elder Pheles wants to find his heir a good political match, but Harry wants to marry for love.
- Harry should keep contact with his friends in Wizarding Britain, and should still be broken up about his separation from Ginny, even though he understands her reasoning.
Optional Inclusions:
- Cao-Cao could take umbrage with Harry’s status as a Half-Devil who is a hero for humans.
- Harry could be exempt from the rule that says an Extra Demon Heir loses his status if he participates in Rating Games due to being Mephisto’s sole heir.
Forbidden Things:

- Motivation: Responsibility: Yubelluna is not just Hadrian's Queen, but also his personal assistant, and responsible for making sure he gets all of his work completed on time, and that he is never late to an appointment or Wizengamot session, as well as for micromanaging the members of his Peerage.
- Power Loss: Yubelluna can't naturally heal or from wounds caused holy objects, and she does not benefit from her Infernal Durability power against such attacks.
- Temper: Calling this woman any variation of "The Bomb Queen" is likely to get you blown up. She much prefers the affection nickname of Lluna.
- Weaknesses: Yubelluna must make a DC 15 Will check or succumb to fear when in the presence of a praying character, holy objects and sanctified churches. Furthermore, touching a holy object will inflict Rank 5 Damage against her; this is in addition to the object's normal effects.

So, I tried to streamline the weakness to Holy things that Devils have down to just two complications instead of three. The Power Loss complication is necessary because there is evidence that normal healing doesn't work on Holy stuff for Devils in the canon of DxD, otherwise I'd have just used the Weaknesses complication, which is lifted straight from the Supernatural Handbook entry for Holy Symbols.

Aqua Vitae v2 Brainstorm & Notes

Aqua Vitae
Premise: Harry Potter always had a limited number of certainties in his life, but one of them had always been the identities of his parents. Until one fateful day, he found out the terrible truth. His mother was indeed Lily Evans, but his father was actually Lord Kyou Sitri, a pure-blood Devil straight from the Underworld! What's next? A fairy godmother?!
Required Inclusions:
- Almost every devil has a quirk that distinguishes them from others of their kind, and Lord Sitri’s quirk is the use of Look Manipulation to bed the wives of other men.
- Kyou Sitri is usually very responsible while indulging in this proclivity, but the one time he forgot to ensure a child wouldn’t be born, is also the one time that a child actually is born.
- Harry Potter, the illegitimate half-devil son of Lord Sitri, must remain in the dark about his true origins until he discovers that he can manipulate water without the need for his wand.
- Unfortunately, the general wizarding populace is ignorant to the true powers of the supernatural world, which will make getting in contact with his remaining family rather difficult.
- That is, until Serafall Leviathan learns of Harry’s new talent and begins an investigation of her own, which ultimately leads to her discovery of Kyou’s “embarrassing recreational activities.”

- Information on Soul Magic could be heavily regulated by the current government of the 72 Pillars, meaning that Harry will need to jump through hoops to get information on Horcruxes.
- Harry could end up becoming romantically involved with his eldest sister, which may well be in addition to the female members of his Peerage.
