Neko Mimi's hit land's solidly, the harried man not even having time to swipe back as the young woman quickly retreats away. He's very unsteady on his feet, looking like he could be felled by a sufficiently stiff breeze by this point.

Toughness: 17 Second degree failure, another -1 and dazed.

Phillip uses the chaos of rats to approach the punk woman (Thug 1). He breaks his stealth to show his (still insidiously fuzzy) form to her. Switching from the control of many rodent minds to the ability to influence one he tells the woman "You should fire at the biggest rat of all." he points to the powered man calming smoking and approaching from the alley. "Then drop the gun and run."

Phillip fully understands that if this doesn't work he will probably be the gunwoman's next target*.
AE: Dominate: Affliction (Entranced, Compelled, Controlled), Area-Perception(Sight), Limited (One Target), Cumulative pr 8
Okay, She gets a DC18 Dodge. If she succeeds that she's managed to shut her eyes or turn away from Phillip's hypnotic eye contact, no effect. If she fails *then* she gets a DC18 Will; 17-13 she can do nothing but hold uncomfortable eye contact which will scar her emotionally, 12-8 she shoots at the powered guy and drops the gun, 7-- she whole heartedly shoots at him, drops the gun, and uses her Move to GTFO.

* With -2 penalty from his Obfuscation

Though Philip tries to mesmerize the woman into attack her evident superior, some feint instinct leads to her shutting her eyes off against the exceptionally bad idea. Shortly after that she takes a quick point-blank shot at the vampire. More through luck than actual skill she lands a solid hit against his obscured form.

After being left unsteady by Neko Miko's attack, the skinhead bruiser finds himself looking uncertainly down the barrel of a Cheyenne-loaded gun. A lone, Spanish swear of defeat is his last contribution before his head is snapped back by the force of a far more powerful first then his own. They slump down to the ground in a groaning heap after that.

From her new perch across the street, the vulpine woman takes advantage of the brief confusion her vanishing caused to twirl that deadly piece of equipment around on phantom strings. It whips about the blonde gunslinger in a tidal wave of blows, yet through sheer grit she manages to minimize the slicing power to merely fraying her jacket then flaying her skin.

Once boistrous and bold, the so-called leader takes stock of her team's situation. Down to only herself, a lone punk menaced by a vampire, and her only competent comrade being assaulted by what might've been ghosts for all she could see. "Alright- Alright fine! I'm not ready, I failed! I-I'll accept the punishment, just do something to stop them!"

Her pitiful call for help is met with a single nod from the tall thug, who finally got what he was waiting for from the start. Tossed from his hands to the side the bud of his cigarette fizzles out in the drizzle. At the snap of his fingers, she and the blonde both turn their guns upon Cheyenne whom he's decided was the biggest threat. He himself walks calmly forward, outstretching his arms and making to grab her as well.

Cheyenne
HP: 1; Condition: warrior +1

Another bullet zinger her between the shoulder blades she could feel warmth flow sluggishly down her back and she chuffed in annoyance. She didnt have time to do more though as the big guy tried to get handsy with her. She fended him off though with some basic kravmaga looking for a change to counter him keeping her weight low and her chin down so he couldnt get a good grip on her and trying to get in low under his center of gravity

Cheys toughness DC21 _: 1D20+9 = [11]+9 = 20 ow -2 bruised now before her regen kicks in

Cheys strength vs the grapple _: 1D20+12 = [19]+12 = 31 wild success

Muzzle fire reflected from a thousand tiny droplets of water making it look, just for a moment, like he was *those* kinds of vampires and had just stepped into the sunlight. But he wasn't one of *those* kinds of vampires and a gun was a very real threat. Phillip reacted on instinct...
toughness: 1d20+10 30
And caught the bullet.

It was not something he planned nor was something he'd likely be able to replicate but he opened a death-hardened hand and a smushed bullet dropped to the ground with a tink, bouncing minimally. "I suggest you run." Phillp says darkly to the punk woman - a command backed by his will.
Hope the descriptor of catching it was fitting for a Nat 20.

Cheyenne
HP: 1; Condition: warrior +1

Cheyenne went on the offensive after fending off the big guys grapple. She put everything shed learned into the fight throwing ebows knees forearms even a headbutt into the mix. She took some shots in return but powered through and kept the pressure up this time stomping on feet and going for knee shots to the gut muay thai style

Chey will AO and Power attack for -2/+2 +2/-2 _: 1D20+6 = [10]+6 = 16
not sure that hits but if it does thats a DC27 to the big guy

Shell surge same numbers _: 1D20+6 = [12]+6 = 18
meh little better DC 27 if it hits

Shell be fatigued next round

Mimi "Neko Mimi" Nomura
Dodge: 10, Parry: 10, Tough: 6/3, Fort: 6, Will: 8, Perception: +10
HP: 1, Condition: Normal

Mimi didn't slow down as a new challenger homed in on Cheyenne, she stopped and reversed course, a shadow moving through darkness as she flung herself back towards her new fighting friend, launching a palm strike at the base of the tall man's skull without even her feet touching the ground.

OOC:
Unarmed attack To-hit: 1d20+8 23 to hit, Power Attack at -4/+4, so 8 damage, 23 to resist. Move-by action all the way across the street again, into the most shadowy area around.

Kira "Foxy" Donal
Dodge: 8, Parry: 8, Tough: 8, Fort: 8, Will: 8, Perception: +10
HP: 1, Form: Fox, Condition: -1 bruise, Fatigued

Foxy swings the rumble strip at the big guy. Afterward she teleports back to the first roof she was on.

Move Object, Damaging, Multiattack single target power attack +/-5 DC 25 vs Dodge: 1D20+6 = [17]+6 = 23 if that overcomes Dodge, Toughness DC 25 or higher depending on multiattack.

With a final stern command from Philip, the last rankless gangster drops her gun and starts fleeing the scene in a panic. The blonde takes notice of the vampire's strange hypnotic abilities, turning her gun towards him hoping to take him out quickly. Several rounds fire from her weapon, each shot landing true.

From the shadows a black furred figure dashes out, practically floating amongst the falling droplets as she strikes out against the lanky man's skull. Yet it's like she had just decided to rush out and slap a passing car, and her hand comes back stinging. As she flutters away from the scene the young woman would be left with the lingering impression that she might've hurt herself far more then she hurt him.

Barely a moment passes before the strong-armed woman starts out with her own quick barrage of blows. His movements are sluggish, seemingly putting in the absolute bare minimum to try and avoid her strikes. There's something exceptionally stiff about the way he moved. For each strike that she landed there was barely any give at all. It was like using a steel girder as a punching bag, but at least those would move when struck by a woman like her. Instead pain slowly starts to blossom from each strike, and still her opponent doesn't even crack a single expression.

Only his eyes seem to rotate with any sense of quickness, snapping to the right just as Foxy's telekinetically-charged attack with a whirlwind of spikes and blades soars in. He tried to duck back, only for the solid metal to start slamming into his face repeatedly. Grunts of clear discomfort as sluggishly raises his arms up, placing one hand forward and stopping the whirling metal just as easily as grabbing a desk fan. His hair is left a ruffled mess, and his face is littered with tiny scratches. Yet for whatever damage he took on, the weapon used against him was left a crumpled mass of scrap. The corners of his lips twitch, just once, before he takes the solid metal chunk and whips it around to smack Cheyene.

Phillip Dremmin
CND: Injured 1 (maybe injured 2 and Dazed next turn) | HP:1
Array Settings wrote: Blood-Drinker Array: Potence
Auspix Array: Super-Senses
Vampire Array: Claws (Damage, multiattack, Incurable)

The bullets tear into Phillip's blurred form and though he brings up toughened arms to shield his center of mass, the bullets tear into his arms. None lodge in his undead flesh but those that fall to the ground are bloody.
Tough: 1d20+10 16 Just enough for only 1 degree of failure, so Toughness -1
This seems to solidify Phillip's blurred form as strength surges through him. He's moving before he realizes it, flingers extended into claws. In his mind's eye he sees himself ripping out the blonde's throat and feeding from the bloody ruin of her neck to heal his injuries and sate his thirst.... but he rejects that reality. That wasn't the kind of being Phillip wanted to be. That wasn't the impression he wanted to impart on these street defenders he'd just started working with. And least importantly, he'd get blood all over his clothes and it'd be a b!^<# to clean.

At the last moment he veered himself from the blonde to the figure that he would let himself unleash his full fury on - the tall powered thug. The blonde feels the wind of his passage as he narrowly bypasses her and Phillip's grave-hardened claws seek to leave rends in the man's enhanced flesh...
claws: 1d20+8 28
Hoo boy, if his Parry is 28 to 24, it's Toughness DC28(with the crit), if it's 23 to 19 it's DC30, if his Parry is 18 or below then it's DC33 due to Multiattack.
Phillip's claws are incurable.

It seems there's some sort of reactive damage effect? DC17?
Toughness vs. Reactive damage?: 1d20+10-1 11
Ouch, another -1 toughness and dazed on next turn if that's the case

27 Failure, second degree!

Slashing at the man's back was like like sharpening his claws against a bolder. Each cut sent shockwaves of pain up would send shockwaves of his forearm while chipping the vampire's sharpened nails. There was very little give in the way his skin reacted, but still they split his skin. A grunt of clear discomfort originated from him, though no cry of abject pain. Philip was giving just as much as he was taking.

Phillip continues moving so he's not right next to the thug to clear line of attack for his fellows and to move to get at least partial cover from the gunwomen (if possible). [Move by action] {Maybe behind dumpsters or the corner of a building.}

Kira "Foxy" Donal
Dodge: 8, Parry: 8, Tough: 8, Fort: 8, Will: 8, Perception: +10
HP: 2, Form: Fox, Condition: -1 bruise, Fatigued

Foxy uses her telekinesis to try to grab the big thug.

Move Object, Grapple DC power attack +/- 5 vs Dodge, DC 20 str check on a hit.: 1D20+8 = [10]+8 = 18 Whoops. That should only be +6 so 16 versus Dodge to hit.
