Diego an Iona make their quick preparations then depart. Las Vegas is a stark contract, clean and civilized, compared the ruins and detritus that you move through in Ward 3. A reminder of the fallen gem of utopia that Hadron City could have been.
Both of you are gifted with your own means of flight and through it's use are able to move unrestricted by ruble. Though your route of advancement takes you through buildings, and tunnels composed of collapsed structures folded over each other you still make good time.
Even before you reach the scene you hear gunfire int he distance, which grows louder the closer you get. You find the armored personel carrier first. It is painted in urgan camo colors and has the Stronghold three towered castle logo at it's rear. The front of the APC, where the engine would be, looks as though it has been flash frozen then hit with a mallet.
The fighting has moved away from the vehicle by the time you arrive. About a hundred feet away Stronghold mercenaries take cover, shooting into the distance, where two armored figures duel.
One of the combatants carries a heavy machine gun in one hand and a baton crackling with electricity in the other. The second has heavier, more damaged armor and lacks a helmet, which allows you to see the blonde hair and blue eyes of the Norwegian woman. In her hands she holds a long handled axe. The blade of which glows a pale blue and frost rolls off of it.
OOC wrote:Your trek to the battle site will be uneventful. But if you want to have the element of surprise you need to make Stealth checks. Otherwise Stronghold will see you coming. You do get a +2 to your Stealth checks due to Tilly's advice.
There is 1 Squad leader with some Hadron-tech armor. They will count as a Tough Minion. Two degrees of failure are required for them to suffer full effect of any attack directed at them.

The APC has been disabled before your arrival.
Valkyrie is a Heroic NPC. However she starts the fight -3 Toughness and Staggered.
Whether your roll Stealth checks or not, roll Initiative.
