Georgia Fiddler
HP: 16/16 AC: 15
Spell slots: 1/3 left

Georgia smiles as she looks at the enemy crowded together on the narrow bridge. "Perfect."

She locks eyes on a spot behind the forward line so that all of her enemies will be within the radius before putting the bow to her fiddle. Infusing the soft sweet notes with magic Georgia sings along.

"Goodnight, you moonlight ladies, Rockabye, sweet baby James. Deep greens and blues are the colors I choose. Won't you let me go down in my dreams? And rockabye, sweet baby James."

A sudden supernatural drowsiness falls over those caught in Georgia's spell.

OOC: Georgia will cast Sleep. I'm setting to point slightly behind the enemy front line so it can get Derek too. The spell affects every creature within 20ft from the target spell point.

5d8: 32 [5d8=6, 8, 3, 7, 8] So starting with the creature with the lowest HP, 32 hp worth of creatures fall asleep. (details through the link.)

Georgia's siren song hits the group like a wave.
The two henchmen, and Derek all crumple to the ground unconscious, with only Grover unaffected.
OOC:
Sleep is apparently a very useful spell.
The only person still awake is Grover.

Aldan is up.

Aldan
Passive Perception:14 | Init:+4 | AC:17 | HP:14/14

The idea that Derek went down but Grover didn't spoke more to the sheriff's dangerousness than anything else. While the man was still prone Aldan had to act fast. "Priority target." he says loud enough for his companions knowing only damage would wake the sleepers. He moves to just behind the paladin, dropping the bag of flour here and drawing his short bow; Aldan loosed an arrow for the Sheriff.
advantage since he's prone.
attack with adv: 1d20+6 16 1d20+6 25 I'll take the better one of 25.
If that hits (note, he probably has +2 or +5 to AC from cover to Aldan's attacks based on being prone [I don't recall]): damage w/ sneak: 2d6 6 poor damage roll +4 for DEX makes 10 damage total.

Move(move action)
Drop(free action)
Draw(free interact action)
(Fire once(standard action)
The spectral hand still bobs, bearing the lit oil lantern about 10 feet over the ball bearing patch, not otherwise directed to move by the mage.

Aldan's arrow catches Grover high on the left shoulder, looking painful but not fatal.
OOC:
That's a hit.

Zasio is up.

Zasio Blackthorn:
HP: 23
AC: 14
Objects of Interest: Goodberries (2 - each heals 4 hp)

As Gorgia's spell takes effect and takes out a large portion of their opponents Zasio moves towards Grover, impressively moving around the ball bearings Aldan had thrown out and positioned himself so that he was not in the flammable oil either. His newly acquired short sword glistening brightly in the moonlight with a purpose is followed closely by his other short sword.

OOC wrote:Use a Bonus Action to switch Hunter's Mark to Grover, then move in and attack.

Main Hand Attack: _: 1D20+6 = [9]+6 = 15, not sure if that's a hit or not but just in case I'll roll Damage.

Main Hand Damage: _: 2D6+6 = [6, 3]+6 = 15.

Off Hand Attack: _: 1D20+5 = [3]+5 = 8.

Off Hand Damage: _: 1D6+3 = [4]+3 = 7.

Edit: The Athletics Check Flynn suggested.
_: 1D20+3 = [18]+3 = 21, of course I roll that much better than either my attack or damage.

[With an athletics check Zasio could jump to the other side of the area of ball bearings and still make his attacks. He'd then be out of the ball bearings and oil.]

Zasio's attack are close, but Grover manages to scamper to his feet, avoiding the ranger's strike.
With a vicious slice he attempts to retreat from the superior forces he's suddenly facing.
OOC:
Zasio's attack misses.

Grover gets to his feet, takes a swing at Zasio and attempts to move back down the bridge 15 feet.
19 to hit Zasio, which I believe is a hit, and he does 8 damage.

Zasio and Tyragorn get an attack of opportunity for Grover leaving without "disengaging".
If Grover is still standing after that we're back up to Tyragorn's turn.

Zasio Blackthorn:
HP: 15/23
AC: 14
Objects of Interest: Goodberries (2 - each heals 4 hp)

Grover's counter attack left Zasio poorly able to take advantage of the opening his withdraw gave and the Half-Elf's effort was horribly short and missed.
OOC wrote:Main Hand Attack Of Opportunity: _: 1D20+6 = [1]+6 = 7, well that's a miss.

Tyragorn's attack misses by a fair space as the Constable frantically backpaddles.
OOC:
Tyragorn's attack of opportunity misses, so Grover officially moves 15 feet down the bridge.

It is now officially Tyragorn's turn.

Georgia Fiddler
HP: 16/16 AC: 15
Spell slots: 1/3 left

Georgia yelled mockingly as Grover, "How's it feel, crawling on the ground like the yellow bellied snake freak you worship!"

OOC: Vicious Mockery vs Grover

Wisdom save 14 or he takes 1d4: 2 and has disadvantage on the next attack roll he makes until the end of his next turn.

Grover flinches as if the words had struck him physically.
His only response his a mildly incoherent snarl as he continues to retreat.
OOC:
Grover manages to fail miserably, and takes the additional two damage.
Aldan's turn is up.

Aldan
Passive Perception:14 | Init:+4 | AC:17 | HP:14/14

Aldan sets his shortbow down and with a couple nimble leaps over the prone forms drawing rapier and dagger as he hooks around Grover to a flanking position.

Rapier Attack: 1d20+6 20
if that hits,
Rapier Dmg: 1d8+4+1d6 13 includes sneak attack dmg.

Bonus Action:
Dagger attack: 1d20+6 12 likely a miss
but if not a miss, Dagger dmg: 1d4 4
