Felix went through his life with a paranoid voice in the back of his head telling him that things were going to end badly. The car down the street was following him, hot beverages in plastic cups were going to kill him with cancer, his magic was going to go out of control and destroy everything he knew and loved, and that at any moment a meteor might strike the planet with enough speed and force to light the entire atmosphere on fire.
Every day he struggled with these invasive nagging thoughts. He struggled through it. He got by. Given time and concentration he could work past the nagging sense of doom that haunted him every step of the way. He was never afraid of anything because he was always afraid of everything.
There was only one thing left in the world that could shatter that control.
And as Felix looked around he felt his whole world shatter into pieces as he found himself surrounded.
By.
Bees.
He had died. And gone to hell.
A nearly inhuman shriek of terror tears from his throat as his staff shifts in his hands. A quarter of a second later he rockets into the air, clutching to the staff which is only half transformed into its hoverboard configuration, flying wildly in a panicked attempt to find a way out, and a terrified need to escape the bees.
OOC: Yeah, that sets off Felix's bee complication. Thankfully he can't actually find an exit right now or he'd be gone...
Normally Felix can move a mile as a move action, but hindered plus a -2 to movement rolls out to 900 feet.
Random Freakout direction: 1d21 18 1d31 10
That comes out to a starting direction of R 10.
I will leave it to the GM where he winds up after that.
