Failed rolls
The text reads that a failed check "equal to or greater than" a certain number means X. For example, versus DC20 if a resistance check result is 15, that is considered one degree of failure and a result of 10 would be two degrees of failure. But what if the result was 17? Would that also be one degree of failure? The text seems to ignore the space between failing a roll by one to four points. Very confusing

Re: Failed rolls
Up to 5 is one degree of failure, more than 5 and up to 10 is two, and so and so forth.

Re: Failed rolls
FWIW, 2E had this issue with the first degree of failure, where failure by 1-4 was a Bruised or Injured, and 5-10 was stunned. Fortunately, that was one of the few things 3E fixed.
