What would putting Fertile over the ground where a sigil is do? The plants do root in a little but is that considered to be marring the surface enough? Would it just give it's bonus to the Agi save?

Sigils have a trigger, so unless setting fetile or casting magic within range of the sigil was the trigger, fertile would do nothing. It just grow foliage in the spell's area, but doesn't destroy the ground, so wouldn't do enough to disturb or destroy a sigil (again, unless the sigil's trigger was specific, or even broadly "casting magic that effects this space")

And to be clear, Lloyd is searching *after* he moves?

I'll allow it at disadvantage, sure. (More for going forward) Which still leaves Lloyd with one success, which stops him after he's barely taken a step as there is a sigil on the corner of the building.

So far, they have both been Ruin sigils. Can't tell which without a lore check to examine it.

[Oh wow, Sigils are powerful. If sigils can be activated by an interaction that makes Sigil more useful a glyph than Attunement in a lot of cases.]

Yes and no. Interacting with an object is a free action, so that is what I would consider activating a glyph, but it's based on preparation. SO it CAN be very powerful, but only if you observe proper prep work. A glyph on a potato is no use if the potato is in your bag needing to be retrieved first.

It also has you doing your cast all front-loaded, so you could conjur up some mischief while simply trying to prepare, depending on the casting check target.

That being said, I've seen sigils used to amazing effect. Levetation with Wind Imbued Dart Sigils can give you some propulsion! (Wind Imbued dart on yourself will push you, since it doesn't cuase damage, but forced movement)

I have allowed a player to chain sigils as well, the important thing to know is the trigger is the trigger. You can't change it later or control it in any way once it's been triggered. If you chain say 10 wind imbued darts on yourself, you are getting all ten of them.

I figure you would have done that kind of prep before walking through the portal. Whetstones, chalk, etc.

Recovery rolls are successes +1, I think. And we still need them from Dog and Ericka, IIRC.

Sorry.
Missed that.

Recovery Check: 5d6 5d6=4, 1, 6, 4, 1

If I remember correctly the first recovery gets an automatic success? If so I think that's a 2.

Close! All Recovery actions get +1 success, and with my custom rule, when you Recover in iteritive rounds, the +1 becomes +2, +3, etc.
