Stormborn
Premise: Just before his true coronation, Thor Odinson came down to Earth for a celebration, only to fall head over heels in love with a beautiful redhead who he would never see again by the name of Lily Evans. Of course, Fate would have it that he sired a child with Lily on that fateful night, and that this child would go on to become the Savior of Wizarding Britain!
Required Inclusions:
- Before his true and final coronation, Thor Odinson came down to Earth for a celebration, only to meet, and fall madly in love with, Lily Evans.
- Of course, this story wouldn’t go anywhere if Thor failed to conceive a child with Lily, so naturally the boy who would become Harry Potter is actually Thor’s illegitimate progeny.
- James must eventually forgive Lily for this indiscretion and name the child his heir presumptive, though Harry will inherit the family title when James fails to have his own son.
- It must be Harry’s Asgardian heritage which prevents him from dying when Voldemort attempts to kill him when Harry is only a year old.
- Harry’s existence must eventually be discovered by Asgard, but how Thor reacts to this news will be left up to the author.
- Since Harry was born illegitimately, he won’t be able to claim the Throne of Asgard without first proving his Worthiness for that title, which will be a long and arduous journey for the young hero.
- To that end, Thor must send Mjolnir down to Earth in hopes that Harry will prove Worthy of wielding his trusty mallet and gaining the powers associated with being his son.
- The author is allowed to pair Harry with whomever they want, but try to avoid pairing him with either Torunn or Thrudd, as they are his sisters in this fic.
- Mjolnir’s ability to alter its appearance must be greatly enhanced, allowing it to take on the form of any weapon or inanimate object that Harry desires.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Loki should redeem himself by becoming the master spy in Thor’s court, fighting from the shadows so that his brother can be victorious in the light.
- The wizarding communities in the old world should still worship the gods of old instead of following the God of Abraham.
- Lady Sif should overhear Ron Weasley uttering a particularly sexist comment, with the goddess being quick to provide him with “factual evidence” that counters his beliefs.
- Veela should be closely related to the Light Elves of Norse Mythology, and could also be the sort of species who would love to get their hands on a Half-Aesir as a prospective mate.
Optional Inclusions:
- In addition to being Thor’s illegitimate son, Harry could also be the reincarnation of Magni from a previous Ragnarok cycle, though the specifics of this transference will be up to the author.
- Lily could have survived Voldemort’s attack on the Potter family, but was rendered comatose with little to no chance of recovery.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry having it easy getting accepted into Aesir society.
- The Potter-Black fortune being as massive as Tony’s.
- Harry bending the knee to adult authority figures.

Complications
- Destiny: It is Harry's destiny to be the one that ultimately vanquishes the dark wizard who styles himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word once he has given it to someone, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Recognition: Harry is the son of the presiding Allfather of Asgard, Þórr Óðinsson, but was born from an extramarital union. As such he will need to prove his worth to the people of Asgard if he ever expects to claim his place as a member of their Royal Family. This is all information he learned as soon as he proved worthy of wielding the legendary hammer known as Mjölnir.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore wishes to use Harry as a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that the boy's death will act the catalyst which will allow the old man to swoop in and defeat the Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish!
- Relationships: Harry's closest, and thus most exploitable, relationships are with his friends, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, as well as with his godfather, Sirius Black; the latter of whom is the proud bearer of a "Kiss on Sight" order issued by the British Ministry for Magic.
- Veela Magnet: Half-Æsir such as Harry are second only to pure-blood Æsir in terms of being desired as potential mates for Veela, which means Harry will have his hands full with both Fleur and Gabrielle Delacour in the coming months.
- Worthiness: Mjölnir can only be lifted by those with a pure heart & noble intentions who also possess a strength score of 4 or more. For anyone else, the hammer might as well be as immovable as Mount Everest.

Complications
- Aerophobia: Fleur experiences intense fear whenever she thinks about getting on a magical broomstick and flying about in the air. However, this fear doesn't seem to bother her if she is riding as a passenger on a magical beast, such as a hippogriff, or when using her Battle Form's wings.
- Honor: Fleur will always keep her word once she has given it to someone and strives to uphold the Greater Good. That said, she is like any real seductress and willing to manipulate people in order to get her way.
- Motivation: Dreamer: Fleur has been inspired by the likes of Madame Olympe Maxime and Albus Dumbledore to fight the good fight and help herald in a future of equality for everyone who dwells upon the Earth.
- Significant Other: Fleur is highly protective of her little sister, and quite willing to maim anyone who dares to harm even a single hair on her head.
- Weakness: Fleur suffers an additional degree of damage from wrought iron weaponry, and is unable to use her magic in order to manipulate iron objects.

Premise: After the second Blood War, Harry Potter made peace with the Gringotts’ Goblins, only to find out that his familial portfolio was quite extensive. He had enough to pay for the damages and not worry about finding a job. But Harry wasn’t the type to rest on his laurels. Becoming a businessman seemed to be the logical thing to do. Now what’s this about a Super Soldier serum?
Required Inclusions:
- While the Shacklebolt administration is busy putting the country back together after the Second Blood War, Harry Potter went in person to square his debts with the Goblins.
- Harry will be pleasantly surprised to be received neutrally, since he was expecting the Goblin Horde to want his head on a pike for breaking out of the bank on the back of a dragon.
- While having his holdings explained to him, Harry will discover that he has more than enough money to square both his friends and his own debt to the Goblin Nation without suffering for it.
- It turns out that Harry possesses a sharp eye for both business and stock markets, helping him to grow his considerable holdings in both worlds.
- Years later, Harry’s rise in prominence in the US will catch Norman Osborn’s interest, enough for the older businessman to go through a lot of hoops to get a meeting with the newcomer.
- Harry must have done his best to keep in shape and can handle his own personal protection just fine with only a few bodyguards for the sake of appearances.
- The main pairing in this scenario will be between Felicia Hardy (Black Cat) and Harry Potter. Other women are permitted should they gain Felicia’s blessing.
- Eventually, Harry will enter Norman's confidence deep enough for the older man to mention the Super-Soldier Serum.
- Still possessing the annoying tendency to go where angels fear to tread, Harry will volunteer as a test subject when the serum is deemed ready for human experimentation.
- Harry will take to the serum like a duck taking to water, showing spectacular results, which will motivate Norman to try it on himself, with less stellar results.
- It turns out that being born with at least a small amount of magic gives the best results where the serum is concerned. Age and levels of fitness may also play a part in the equation.

Astra Inclinant, Sed Non Obligant
Premise: When Harry Potter died, the last thing he ever expected was to be reborn in a startlingly similar world to his own. Only, instead of being born as the son of James & Lily Potter, he was born to Cygnus and Druella Black. In other words, he was born as the brother of Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa Black!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be given a new name upon his birth in this startlingly familiar reality, with a preference on that name being associated with a celestial body.
- Harry must be the twin brother to one of the Black sisters, though the specific sister that is used for this purpose will be left open to the author’s interpretation.
- If Harry does join a particular faction, then it must be the culmination of a significant amount of work on the part of that group’s recruiters, and must take considerable time to accomplish.
- Harry must regard both Sirius and Regulus as the little brothers he never had, meaning that he will be quick to defend them against their various detractors, even if it is their brother.
- Harry’s primary romantic partner must be someone who attends Hogwarts in the same year as him, bonus points if it is the woman who canonically became Blaise Zabini’s mother.
- There should be another individual who becomes the prophesied “Child Who Lived”, though whether this is the local version of Harry Potter or not is up to the author.
Preferred Inclusions:
- If Harry joins the Dark Faction, then he could find a place in the Dark Lord (or Lady)’s Inner Circle, possibly because he possesses an incredibly rare ability.
- The aforementioned rare ability should be an uncanny degree of foresight, that while not true prophecy, is close enough to allow him to predict events with nigh-unerring accuracy.
- The Dark Faction, which is the preferred name, should have a less malevolent agenda than they did in canon, possibly owing to the fact that their leader is a woman (Fem!Voldemort).
Optional Inclusions:
- If the canonical plot plays out, and Voldemort (or whatever the Dark Lord or Lady’s name is) gets discorporated, then Harry could become the new leader of the Dark Faction.
- In addition to his primary girlfriend, Harry could be romantically involved with the Dark Lady.

Ljósberi v2 Brainstorm & Notes

Premise: “One thought opens a thousand eyes. One sun brings a thousand dawns.” That is the credo by which Harry Potter was set to live his life, since he is the current incarnation of the previous Ragnarok cycle’s version of Baldr Óðinson.
Required Inclusions:
- Those Who Sit Above in Shadow have pulled the strings of the Nine Realms for countless Ragnarok Cycles, feeding off the energy that is released during each calamity.
- Naturally, their insatiable thirst for power has caused a blatant imbalance in the scales between Life and Death, which is simply unacceptable to the Abstract Entities in question.
- Mistress Death must intervene during one such cycle in an attempt to thwart the Shadows by claiming the soul of an Asgardian and reincarnating it as the Midgardian known as Harry Potter.
- The Asgardian soul in question will be none other than Balder Odinson, and he must retain all of his quasi-divine abilities during his new lifetime as a Midgardian wizard.
- This means that Harry will have the standard Asgardian durability, strength and other abilities even without having access to his previous incarnation’s nigh-invulnerability.
- Balder’s fabled sword, Svraden, must present itself to Harry once the young hero proves himself to be Worthy of wielding it in this lifetime.
- Harry’s primary romantic pairing must be Hela Odinsdottir, who will receive a plot relevant age reduction shortly after meeting Harry for the first time. Other women are also allowed.
- Harry must be immune to the corruptive influence of the Shadows, and he must also have a means by which to nullify the corruption affecting the leaders of the Nine Realms.
- Harry’s light-based magic must be on a different wavelength from his wizarding spells, meaning that he can use them even at times when he is not normally allowed to use magic.
- The veracity of Trelawney’s first prophecy will be largely unimportant since Voldemort will not allow Harry to live in peace so long as they both continue to exist.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry’s nature as an Æsir, or else his strong affinity for Light magic, should make it impossible for him to become a living Horcrux.
- Following the previous requirement, his Æsir constitution should be a major part of what allows him to survive the Killing Curse as a toddler.
- Harry’s infamous temper should be something that he inherited from his previous incarnation’s father, Odin Borson, since his lineage was quite well known for their fiery tempers.
- Harry should begin to make waves in the affairs of Asgard only after he successfully defeats the dark wizard known as Voldemort.
- Harry should have advised his godfather to seek asylum on one of the other Realms, which would allow Sirius to survive the Second Blood War.
Optional Inclusions:
- Odin could be just as baffled as everyone else when he learns of Harry’s existence.
- Hela could find a way around her imprisonment by Odin, and her newfound freedom could lead to her abandonment of any plans for intergalactic conquest.
- Harry’s presence in the MCU could make a massive difference in how the events of Avengers: Infinity War play out, since he’ll actually be the Champion of Death in this scenario.

House Pendragon Reborn Brainstorm & Notes

House Pendragon Reborn
Premise: It turned out that Hogwarts had some secrets that not even Tom Riddle or the Marauders ever discovered, though it wasn’t for a lack of trying. For you see, you needed the blood of the Once and Future King to open that particular door. So when Harry fell head first into a Fae Smithy, his life as he knew it would never be the same…
Required Inclusions:
- During one of his many nocturnal journeys around the halls of Hogwarts, Harry will stumble upon a door that had been locked ever since the end of King Arthur’s reign.
- The earliest time that this scenario can occur is just after Sirius Black falls through the Veil of Death, which means no earlier than the end of Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts.
- Of course, it will be after Harry puts his back on the door for some rest during his nightly wanderings that it will spontaneously open, making him fall head first into the unknown.
- The occupants of the room Harry accidentally fell through will save him from what would have been a serious head injury but will be angry with him for the disturbance he caused them.
- The room Harry fell in is in fact a very old Fairy smithy, manned by Greater Fae, which are magical beings that haven’t been seen in the world since the dawn of the Statute of Secrecy.
- One of the Greater Fae will add two and two and get four, realizing that Harry is most likely the last heir of King Arthur.
- Without Excalibur to stake his claim on the throne, Harry would not be taken seriously. Sadly, the sword vanished with one of Arthur’s Knights shortly after the battle of Camlann.
- The Fae blacksmiths will requisition the Sword of Gryffindor from the Headmaster’s office with the intent to forge a new Excalibur.
- The return of a magical monarchy must upset certain pureblood aristocrats, even though the Ministry and Wizengamot will still run things in Magical Britain on a day-to-day level.
- Harry’s ascension to the throne must have the perk of no longer being obligated to return to his Relatives’ house after the end of each school year. In fact he may be required to live elsewhere.
- Morgaine le Fay will immediately know when a descendant of her brother appears and claims his birthright, causing her to return to Great Britain with vengeance in mind.
- While approaching Hogwarts, Morgan will be inexplicably regressed, both physically and mentally, back to the prime of her youth.
- Due to her vast knowledge and power, the now entirely sane Morgan will eventually merit a place among Harry’s inner circle and most likely in his bed chambers later on.
- The Horcrux in Harry’s scar must be entirely purged from his body after he bonds with Excalibur II for the very first time.
- Voldemort will become enraged that his destined foe has arisen as the Ruler of the Magical World when that title should have been, in his mind, rightfully his.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Since the House of Windsor is the legal ruler of both the magical and mundane world, Harry will officially be known as the Duke of Hogwarts (Camelot) & Royal Governor of Magical Britain.
- Harry should have a few seasoned advisors on retainer that can both show him the ropes of ruling a magical country and monitor his decisions until he comes of age.
- If Harry is required to have a Regent until he comes of age, it should be Morgaine who is chosen for the role, due to her seniority in the House of Pendragon.
- To seal an alliance between the Mundane and Magical worlds, Harry should be betrothed to a daughter of the House of Windsor. Bonus points if the daughter is magical.
- Harry’s ascension to the throne of Camelot should be international news in the magical circles, with that information eventually becoming known to the non-wizarding mystics.
- Morgaine should make it clear to Dumbledore that he’ll need to come clean about his manipulations if he wants to continue being involved in the war against Voldemort.
Optional Inclusions:
- Morgan and the Daughter of House Windsor should have a clothes-destroying catfight about who will be the legal wife and who will be the Royal mistress, in front of a bemused Harry.
- Harry’s official residence could be somewhere other than Hogwarts, with preference for something less grand and more private than an entire castle.
- For his unforgivable betrayal towards her, Morgaine could have bound Mordred’s magic and imprisoned him in either Azkaban or Nurmengard before her rehydration.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry’s transition into a desk-bound general being particularly easy for the young man.
- Harry forsaking the intrinsic value of his friends upon ascending to the throne.
- Harry being corrupted by the power he has been entrusted with.
