Glad things are slowly settling in.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

The end is in sight. I can smell it.

It was a close shave, since I didn't get hired until mid-month when available rentals start getting really snapped up, I only had three to choose from, all in the same little cluster. X_x

Got sniped from the one I wanted, but managed to get my second choice (which was cheaper, but ground level, which I am not thrilled about, but better than the last choice)

I move in October 1st. I'll try to have internet set up shortly thereafter, and hopefully can get settled reletively quickly.

On the work front, I'm settling in. It's not amazing work of anything, but it'll pay bills and isn't too difficult. I can always look for better once I'm moved and settled.

I'm hoping to get this going again in early October if you're all (or at least half of you) are still on board.

Still here. And congrats for bouncing back like that (tough as it was).

How is everyone else feeling? Anyone wanting to bow out? No judgements, it's been quite a gap.

By this point, it'd take me some time to get back into character with Ericka, but I'd be willing to try. Happy that things have evened out for you in real life.

My only problem is that I've largely forgot most of the rules.
But I should be good to go.

Congrats on the new place.
Moving is always exciting and exhausting in my experience.

I'm in! Yes! Is there a minimum you'll need/want to run with?

I'm still interested and here.

Congrats on finding a new job - I remember what that's like.

Three would be my minimum, but it sounds like I don't have to worry about that.

I've got my desk and chair ordered and shipped, and I already have my internet ready to go. Theoretically, unless I'm wiped from moving, I should get a post up this weekend. Sunday is more likely than Saturday.

Slight snag. My desk and chair order got messed up and went missing somewhere. It's showing as delivered, but nothing was actually delivered. So there is an investigation open, but a federal statutory holiday tomorrow, so I'm not gonna have my desk before I move into my place. X_x

I'll still try to get something set up as a temporary solution, I just don't know what that is going to look like just yet, but I'll do my best.

My family's on vacation until Wednesday of next week. I might not be able to post until after then but I'm looking forward to this starting up again!

Okay, desk situation is almost resolved. Without getting into the annoying details, I need to go to the store they brought my desk and chair to, repurchase them because the online store refunded me, and sort a delivery time with the store's delivery service. So hopefully I'll have to deal by this weekend.

Hopefully... Long weekend here in Canada, so would be nice.

Alright! Desk and chair have been delivered and constructed. I'm wiped from a last push to the weekend type of work day, and I still need to actually arrange my computer on said desk, but it's a long weekend here in Canadian land, so short of some kind of catastrophic event, I will have a post up tomorrow!

It'll even include a recap of your investigations so you don't have to read back through pages to hunt for information your characters should have.
