Lilly noses around the smithy without touching anything, listening to the conversation between Amy and the smith.

She doesn't mention the tribe of goblins "overrunning" the "Badeparadies Schwarzwald". It does not seem relevant to their mission.

Great against blasters and normal humans and aliens, not so much against what we gotta deal with..."

Is it just cold iron that will affect fae or iron in general? Sources do vary on that.

//As always, it depends where the fae in question are from. Some are harmed by forged iron and for some it must be iron that's forged "cold". With cold iron, you would be on the safe side as that would affect both kinds, but it makes the weapon extremely brittle.

So. She'd probably want to save cold iron for a knife then. Easier to replace.... and as she gets more PP, she can always get a bane enchantment on it. Plus, she has pokemon with Iron tail, so that counts for something. Would Alchemal silver work as well on were's in general? Or is it just silver?

//Alchemical silver does work on lycanthropes as it's basically a pseudo-magical silver-steel alloy with enough silver on the edge to hurt creatures vulnerable to it.

The girl hrmed. "How about just a regular forged iron, with alchemal silver and blessed twelve ways to Sunday? That way it'll work against most critters and I have my knives as back-up for the ones that aren't affected. Would that work better and would I be able to afford it with what I have?"

There is a large Catholic church in the middle of town plus a smaller Protestant one close by. Also, built on the outskirts of town, past a parking lot and an Aldi and a Lidl, there is a newly built Pagan temple mostly used by a small Wiccan coven - who also worship Abnoba as a local goddess - and two priests of the Forgotten Realms deity Silvanus.
