Wizard of Death Watch Brainstorm & Notes

Wizard of Death Watch
Premise: Having seen the writing on the wall, young Harik Vizsla saves as much of Mandalore’s resources and people in the near aftermath to the Mandalorian Civil War as he can, before hoofing it to the Galactic Fringe. Then, when presented with an opportunity by the Naboo Blockade, he makes a powerful ally in the form of Queen Padme Amidala.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be reborn into the world of Star Wars as a young Mandalorian known as Harik Vizsla, the son of Death Watch commander, Pre Vizsla.
- Harik must have full knowledge of his previous lifetime as Harry Potter, as well as the ability to use Force Powers, which he models after Wizarding spells.
- Harik must serve time as a warrior in the Mandalorian Civil War, but become disillusioned with the conflict after realizing his side is losing that war.
- In response, he must do what he can to save as much of Mandalore’s resources and people as he can, before sending them all to a remote Fringe World where they can rebuild.
- Two to three years later, Naboo will send out its distress call in response to the blockade, and it will be Harik and his Neo Death Watch which will answer their plea.
- Padme Amidala must be Harik’s primary romantic interest, though Bo-Katan Kryze is recommended as an additional romantic interest. Anyone else will be completely optional.
- Harik is neither a warmonger, nor a pacifist, but rather straddles the line between the two, which is a way of thinking that Padme eventually adopts for herself.
Preferred Inclusions:
- The rivalry between Jango Fett and Pre Vizsla should remain intact within this story, even though it seems to have been relegated to the realm of the Star Wars Legends continuity.
- At the start of the story, Harik should have around five Battle Cruisers, at most ten heavily armed frigates, and a full complement of starfighters for the aforementioned battle cruisers.
- Padme is initially resistant to admit her attraction to Harik and her handmaidens tease her by pretending to flirt with him, making her jealous.
- Harik has a cordial relationship with the Jedi, despite their history, but his relationship with the New Mandalorians is frosty due to their abhorrence of any kind of violence.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harik could be on good terms with both Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi, despite the fact that they were on opposing sides during the Mandalorian Civil War.
- Harik and Aayla could start a romance while she has Amnesia, which would end when she regains her memories of her previous life as a Jedi.
Forbidden Things:
- Anakin’s romance with Padme going anywhere.
- Harik being romantically interested in men.
- Harik engaging men in carnal activity.
- Harik the Malevolent Emo Doormat.

Complications
- Alignment: Lawful Gray: Bo-Katan believes that the circumstances will dictate whose needs are more important, but that the means are just as important, if not more so, than the ends.
- Honor: As a Mandalorian, Bo-Katan follows both the Resol'nare and the Mandalorian code of honor, the latter of which states that, "Strength is life, for the strong have the right to rule; Honor is life, for with no honor one may as well be dead; Death is life, one should die as they have lived."
- Motivation: Dreamer: Bo-Katan wishes to unite the Mandalorian people under a single leader, rather than allowing the factionalism that currently exists in their society to continue causing strife and conflict that ultimately leads to unnecessary bloodshed. With that said, there is also no way that she is prepared to take up the mantle of leadership, believing that Harik Kryze would be far better suited to the task.
- Relationship: Bo-Katan is the younger sister to Duchess Satine Kryze of the New Mandalorians (which differs from the planet of New Mandalore), and is therefore considered to be a Marchioness of said political movement, even if she has no intention of claiming that title.
