Getting logged out when click a link

This is an issue I'd experienced before, both with this thread and before

I'd figure out the conditions of getting logged out sometimes. When I'm posting and my external ip changes such as when I go from mobile to wifi data, I need to log back in. I'm guessing it has to do with the forum SW and it mapping user tokens to ips. It doesn't happen on rpgnet however. Seems like a sensible security precaution to me though.

I usually dont have any issues remaining logged in but for some reason lately even when i say remember me the site keeps logging me out when i leave it

I had that happen with my phone on occasion.
Rebooting fixed the problem I ran into.

It doesn't happen when I log in to view new messages, but it does when I log into view my posts.

I am still having issues with some topics where I click the links and get logged out. I also am not able to stay logged in, but have got used to it.

Do you have "remember history" on in privacy settings? I've found if you don't, it tends to screw up logins.

cant even find that but the settings i do have dont have the remove passwords or clear data set so it should remember me every time

It would be under security and privacy for firefox. U might want to check under similar tabs.

I seem to be having this issue now. Thought it was just my device being weird, but I'm seeing it on different computers. Both are using Chrome, but I've doubled checked settings and didn't see any issues there. It's also not an issue specific to any particular thread on the site -- any link in the site that I click on (even if the link leads to another post in Echoes of the Multiverse) will log me out. It's a bit annoying, really.
