Douglas Reach
HP: 1
CND: Fine

"Thank you."

... Douglas offers after receiving the information he had requested from the officer. Then he steps away and follows after Brandon and Conner. Heading into the courtroom he moves along the wall towards the side of the room with the door. Behind the seats. Taking up watch in one of the corners he takes in the room.

Danni Morgan

With her teammates taking up positions inside the courtroom, Danni stayed outside the doors, looking for good spot to keep watch.

>OOC: If there are guards directly outside the room, Danni will join them. Otherwise she will head out ot the front entrance, near the metal detectors and keep watch there (though she will be ready to move back to the courtroom if needed...)

Conner kept a close eye out. He didn't know how far the corruption spread or how connected the two coming into court were connected. The Haviera's were triggering something in him. Even with an extended gaze and examination though, he couldn't quite pin down what bugged him about them.

@Conner.. yeah humans are hard to read, no ears to droop, no rail to wag.

It is going to be a looong day. Basically they are going through every case that Internal Affairs flagged from these 2 officers.

Any actions that you are going to perform while you are watching?

Brandon scans the aura of the people in the courtroom (and any newcomers) to see if anyone's emotions are unusual or different.

Douglas Reach

Every so often Douglas checks in with security. He asks for updates on the drone, gardeners that Conner had pointed out, and the groups with the Havieras. From time to time, he encourages two of his teammates to make a patrol of the interior and exterior of the courthouse, including himself in the rotating patrol. Otherwise, Douglas keeps watch over the courtroom. It was the least likely place to be attacked, but it was also where the most likely targets were right now.

Conner Flanagan

Listening to all the cases, all the corruption, and list of violations of the badge Conner didn't feel inclined to just hear it. He was there to make sure nothing hinky happened. Nothing more than the defendants list of dirty deeds being aired again. So, he checked with an officer to notify him first sign of trouble and went on patrol. Along the way, any rats or animals that might somehow have made their way into the court house he would inquire of any strange things like people with guns who never had them, scarier looking weapons, new people, and other stuff animals are attuned to for impending danger.

Ooc...@Conner. There are very few animals inside the courthouse. You might find a mouse on a dc 15 search role but it won't be wandering around where people are. There are insects but they are not much good for information.
.How often are you gits doing patrols and where are you patrolling?

IC Judge Phillips comes in. He is a caucasian man in his 60's. He is short, with thick glasses and a big moustache. The court hearing commences.

@Douglas. While you were watching the the court proceedings you were idly thinking about what the cop downstairs said. You are hit with a vision of George Haviera sobbing over a closed coffin. A wreath with the name Rosalita on it surrounds a large photo of a young girl.

Danni Morgan

Once she found a good place to set up, Danni settled in to wait. Especially after her time in the military, she was no stranger to long stretches of boredom while keeping watch or keeping up other "essential" duties. At least here there was less chance of some fanatic with an AK mounting a random attack.

Not NO chance- this was Houston after all- just LESS of a chance...

>OOC: No particular activities, but if Douglas calls for a patrol sweep, she will participate.

@Brandon.. Your magical senses are tingling. There is magic in the courtroom somewhere.

@Conner as you are patrolling you see Emil Haviera and his two companions go into the toilets.

Conner Flanagan
HP: 1
CND: Fine

Three blokes taking a dump together wasn't super strange. Maybe they just all had to go at the same time or something? Still, Conner took up a position that would seem like a normal look out spot, it being a court house house and all, that gave a vantage point for any signs of weapons being brought back out or anything that would indicate it wasn't just a trip to the potty.
