[Interest check] WW2-era game of low-key supers and occult investigation?
Just gauging interest for now, concrete plans are in development.
Would there be interest in a Weird-War-2-game where street-level superheroes fight nazi occultists, inspired by games such as Wolfenstein, Achtung! Cthulhu, comics such as Über and films like Operation Overlord?
Kinda like Godlike only that here, superheroes can do things that actually matter and not be rendered powerless because another superhuman is close by...

I'm always down for supers, especially period piece supers.
European/Mediterranean flavored? Pre-, Post-, or Mid- WW2?

Mid WW2. It's quite possible that theaters will be switched from mission to mission.

I can't help but think or Noir films when I think of the WWII and post-WW II era. What kind of "feel" do you want for the game? Dark? 4 color?

I would definitely be interested, depending on game mechanics of course...

Right now, I am just gauging interest. If this actually develops into a game, I'd go with dark but with plenty of opportunities to punch real bad guys in the face and not feel bad about it.
As for mechanics...either M&M or Savage Worlds, I reckon.

Sounds potentially interesting. Fighting just Nazis or summoned creatures as well and/or Nazi superheroes?

Low-powered superheroes could include non-powered but experienced pulp heroes (or some now-grown kid sidekicks of same) working with the new to the scene supers. And there's a fair amount of overlap between the two. The JSA had members who had two fists and a good attitude and members with overwhelming godlike power, but not much in between.

Of course. Two-fisted scholars and specialised soldiers could very well fit, too.

Nazi punching street level hero dark themed game. Might be interested depending on the particulars.

I think I'll use the Savage Worlds system for this as it fits the pulp theme rather well.

I haven't done savage worlds in a hot minute but I like the system. How would you do the initiative cards in a play-by-post setting?

I own the deluxe edition. Is that version the same or different from the one you will use?

I'd use the newest edition, the Adventurer's edition
