There are children pretty much everywhere outside, alongside several clowns and other garish performers and circus folk.

Not sure what we should do here. We're 3 people with hundreds of children currently in our care. Do we risk them or ourselves (their only protectors) by engaging in combat along the way in the hope of saving more children? Risk hundreds to save... a dozen? 20? 50?

But then, if we bypass combat and rush to get them out there's a concern if we can get back in and/or have to hope the clowns don't move the remaining children or feed them to the pit-mouth(s).

What are your guy's thoughts?

Well, it's really just the two of us. Apparently we should have brought some extra folks with us so we could send them back to town to get the adults out here. I'm at a complete loss. We didn't originally come out here with just 3 people. But we're stuck with just 3 people now.

Neo, can we say perhaps one of the lost PCs was sent back to town to get help when we first went in the door? How many clowns can we see walking around out in the open, not counting any in tents?

The other thing we can attempt is to take out all the clowns stealthily with hidden ambushes and the like. While it sounds good on paper. It is doomed to failure. We aren't the right party for this.

Or we just leave with a handful of kids, half settlers, half indigenous, and mount a better exposition the next day.

I was thinking we had hundreds of kids around us, an entire big top.

Oh, I thought we only had a couple dozen in the one tent.

Sure, one of the others could have gone back.
Currently, you see three clowns.

Could you settle how many kids we have around us that we are escorting from the big tent?

And how many kids we can see in general? And how big this underground area is? It sounds like the area is lit.

About 20 kids around you and you can see maybe 50? As for the size of this area - with so many things standing in the way, it's impossible to truly see.

Invisibility is only useful until you cast a spell on someone.
