You CAN parry with regular weapons, but only those with the Parry trait get an Advantage on the attack part, IIRC.

Ah, just re-read. The Parry combo action itself (what Gun calls Riposte) gives advantage on the Attack part regardless of what weapon you use.

The parry quality on a weapon gives advantage on the Defense part.

Yup. Even without the parry trait, if you make your counterattack/riposte, it is at advantage and cannot be defended against. Parry is a very powerful tactic, but of course heavy on AT cost.

And it's a bit of a risky prospect. You lose 2 AP, but if you don't successfully parry all the damage you don't get to make the attack. So it's possible to lose an AP without getting the benefit for it.

Still worth the cost in my mind!

Yeah. Parry is amazingly powerful, especially if you have the parry trait on something, and a good weapon for the riposte.

Also, an update on my computer situation; I have components ordered and on route. I'm only waiting on one more which could show up this week or early next week, then just gotta being them to my techie friend to put together.

With any luck I'll be back in business next week. Thanks all for sticking in there with me.

Who's got two thumbs and a working PC?

It'sa me bay-bee!

An extra few components (that we found out I didn't actually end up needing, but are upgrades, so...eh) later, my PC is rockin' all new levels of power! And more importantly can handle running roll20.

Look forward to a post later today after work (like 6.5-7 hours from now)

Remember that Fertile adds an extra die to your defense rolls. Going to be doing an AT intensive Charging-Combo attack.

If Lloyd's takes a Dodge Action, (Defend then Move), can he use the Move as a scaling to get on to the thing's back (provided he takes no damage from the attack)? He was adjacent and has scaling boots equipped (but never used).

Sure, but you still need to make the skill check.

Mediocre shots from Moira, she may have to report that these bullets are good on armored people but only okay on thick-plated Deceivers.

Great use of Scaling gloves! Quite the visual! I felt my post was boring compared to all y'alls.
