The girl finished up with her sweeping and stowed the broom and dustpan in the utility closet, before heading to her room, which housed a bed, side-table, dresser and a desk with a chair. It wasn't much, but she lived light, so it was enough. "Mmm. Vampires would definitely benefit, so would the various supremacist groups out there." she noted. "Hell, even some governments would love to disrupt this, just to destabilize Germany and give the government a black eye." she said as she sat down on the chair.

"So what sort of living arrangements do we have at this place and what should we pack?"

" The usual suspects. Natives First, these bozos still haven't come to terms with the Merge. Neo-Nazis and left-wing radicals because it would deprive them of hired muscle. Vampires, of course. And those are just the ones we know about. You will be staying in a hotel in Neustadt. However, I do recommend you pack hiking and camping equipment because the meeting place will be a bit out of the way."

The girl nodded as she began jotting down her list on a note book she had pulled from her desk. "Torque, you think you can maybe finagle a basic camper form? Nothing too fancy or anything that'll draw attention to us. Barring that, an all-terrain vehicle would be next best. Either way, the beat-up or well-used look is the way to go. At least, we can pass ourselves off as tourists on vacation or on a day trip to the casual observer with either." she advised, knowing the group could never pass themselves off as local, no matter how they tried.

"Tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, walking sticks, sturdy clothing, hiking boots, rope, water proof coats, water purifying equipment, cooking equipment, food supplies, animal proof containers, hygiene supplies, bug-spray, water, toilet paper, amulets of protection against evil, good knives, maybe ward-stones, that might be pushing it, appropriate sacrifices for the local kami so they don't get pissed at us..." Amy listed as she jotted down the supplies they'd need.

"How long are we supposed to be staying at this meeting thing and what are the temperatures/weather we're looking at this time of year around there both day and night?" she asked. "Also, what kind of wild-life, supernatural or otherwise is common in the Black Forest area or the areas where we are supposed to go?" she asked. Her information on that particular area was sketchy, except for knowing that the deeper parts of the Forest were dangerous places and she was certain she wouldn't want to go exploring alone in them.

ooc
In camping, remembering the TP and bug spray is a must!

Viv DeLaCourte (Harbinger)

Viv continued to listen, and to make a few notes, as the others asked their questions (and as the questions were answered). There would be time for her to do most of her own preliminary research on the way to their destination. The idea of some sort of camper seemed like a good one- she was an experienced traveler in her own right, but her tastes tended far more towards glamping than really "Roughing It"...

The girl chewed on her pen a bit before venturing. "Even if you can't do a camper form, we could probably attach a small camper to whatever form you do manage Torque, if that's alright?" She asked. "That might be better for us all actually." she said as she added propane to the list. Campers needed that sort of thing....

" The forecast for the next couple of days predicts fair weather, maybe one or two light showers", Hagen responds, " the meeting itself is supposed to last for three days with the first day being mostly a meet and greet - and sniff, we ARE talking about werewolves here.
The Black Forest post-Merge, has developed a population of about 300 or so wolves. Also, there is one pack of Dire Wolves we know of. They should not cause any trouble, though. Wolves traditionally submit to werewolves or keep out of their way. Besides that, several rare species of birds, deer and a sizable boar population live there. There have been reports about a Dire Boar, but these have not yet been substantiated. Should you encounter a boar the size of a Volkswagen - just assume it has the right of way. They can be vicious. In general, all animals in the region seem to have become smarter since the Merge."

"So no problems there. Not with two animal speakers in the group. What about the truly supernatural? Spirits, magical creatures (you did mention dragon-kin) fae, pokemon and the like?" she considered and added heavy, meat-friendly food options to their supplies for any wolves who might want to share their campfire. The Ministry wanted to leave a good impression after all. A shared meal was a classic way to do it.

She grinned to herself. While she certainly could rough it with the best of them, she preferred a semblance of civilization herself. Hot showers and warm blankets were Arceus' gift to mankind in her opinion. In other words, camping in a nice camper or even a tent was far, far preferable to sleeping on leaf and grass covered bracken with a home-made lean-to that only kept out the water and rain. If you were lucky and had those available. She thought, thinking back to some of her more memorable training days and adventures or rather mis-adventures.

" There are a couple of fey creatures, but they mostly keep away from humans. We know of a single green dragon, Yavigrota...so far, she has kept to an agreement reached between the County and her and is not interfering with people. And then there is Abnoba herself, the local goddess. She's all in all a pleasant being, as far as gods go, having found a way to metaphysically leech off of tourism as a form of worship and so is interested in people actually wanting to be there."

The girl nodded to herself. "If we're on official business, it's only polite to bring some sort of gift. As long as it's legal that is. What does she like or enjoy?"

"A goddess?!" asks Lilly interestedly. "I hope we get to meet her if she is benevolent. I have never encountered a deity that is not a New God. Though there is something about your churches and temples that feels similar..."

"Mmmm, you do meet a god nowadays in someway whenever you enter their temple or church and pray to them. Even if you don't see them physically." Amy said.

"If you do not have a two-way communication with something, how can you say you met them?" Adeleth says. "A meeting should at a minimum contain an exchange of words or even just glances. Passing by something is not meeting them."

"So basically, our job is to protect the wolves from outside threats and to help make things run smoothly as well as generally leaving a good impression, right?" she asked Hagen.

Why do I have a bad feeling about this? she wondered to herself as she added flares to the list.
If things really hit the proverbial fan, she wanted to have some sort of way to ignite the propane tanks (other than having Peekaboo thundershock em) and added another note to have the head priest to bless the tanks, flares and water tanks besides. If they were going to protect the wolves, multiple options of doing so was always best. Especially if the undead tried to crash the party.

Never let it be said that Amy didn't firmly believe in the "There is no overkill, there's only "fire, reload, fire until they're all dead and then incinerate the remains."
