Remember, as an animal, it will describe things in a rather odd way, emphasizing sensation and raw sensory input, rather than in fine details.

I was thinking that same thing as I typed up my post.

As you suggested, I will spend that on the AP for Shi'Halal's Comprehend. Though I'll add Quick 0 (Requires Lucas' Psionics) for flavor, to denote that it isn't something Shi'Halal would be able to without him, nor he without her. A zero, because it isn't an actual hinderance.

And, no, those are definitely golems, according to Shai’Halal’s initial scans, and’re clearly of Sunsphinx make and design.

Oh, I updated Jax’s opinions on the other imperiex. It’s not done yet, but you’ll see, in my NPC thread, that Jax may have been an asshole from day one.

Unfortunately for Farreach’s optimism, restoring Rustdeity won’t be that simple. Having over 20 cosmic entities, each with their own very specific mindsets and conflicting goals, will make cosmic restoration tempestuous rather than serene.

Imperious doesn't want any of the Imperiex involved. People with advanced technology is one thing. Cosmic god-beings is an entirely different matter.

I’ve been meaning to ask: what DOES Imperious believe, religiously speaking? I know he’s animistic by design, but he doesn’t pray, does he? He strikes me as the sort of person who regards success and failure as his to achieve, rather than calling out to some nebulous higher power.

Your assessment is accurate. Lucas is spiritual, but not religious. Spirituality being a personal thing. He has his own personal beliefs and does not adhere to a religious construct or organization created by others. Lucas doesn't pray, worship, or invest faith in a higher power. He believes in himself, his allies, and what his experiences have taught him. He believes that people forge their own destiny, even though outside forces might influence them.

There is some kind of existence beyond the physical. Beyond what people perceive as life. Though he is uncertain what this next stage of existence/afterlife is like. He has talked to dead people. He's talked to a Reaper. Magic and science are the same thing to him. There are psychic phenomena that he can't explain, just as there is science he can't understand.

There are ancient and powerful beings out there. He's learned from the God Forge that there is some kind of progenitor being or race that created what he understands as the multiverse. For him this is knowledge and does not touch on his spirituality. Generally speaking, Imperious sees these sort of things as potential rivals or challengers to his authority. Possible threats to his people that he needs to find a way to defend against.
