Complications
- Bane: Galatea is vulnerable to magic as anyone else. As such, her Toughness is not Impervious against magical attacks.
- Limited Lifespan: Cadmus made it impossible for Galatea to benefit from the standard immortality of her fellow Kryptonians and Argoans, which means that she will only live for about as long as a typical human being.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Galatea's sole reason for existing is to act as a counterbalance in the event that Supergirl or Superman ever decide to go rogue.
- Overconfident: Galatea is known for charging into battle without taking the time to assess whether or not she's biting off more than she can chew.
- Power Loss: Galatea will lose her strength and powers while under a red sun, like that of the planet Argo, and other effects which drain or interfere with the energies of the yellow sun can deprive her of those same powers. Attacks using Red Sun Radiation ignore the Impervious modifier on her Toughness.
- Rivalry: Galatea is in an eternal rivalry with her genetic template, the Argoan commonly known as Supergirl!
- Weakness: The radiation of Green Kryptonite will sap Galatea's powers, leaving her impaired, disabled, and eventually debilitated. Long-term exposure (usually only a matter of minutes, less for a large enough quantities) imposes the dying condition and may lead to death.

The White King Brainstorm & Notes

The White King
Premise: Ever since he was a little boy, Harry Potter had the ability to manipulate the temperature of his surroundings. Now, many years later, he has discovered that there is an entire world full of odd people with strange abilities that have absolutely nothing to do with magic, and a secret cabal that he has somehow become a King of due to his mother’s financial success!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must inherit the White King of the Hellfire Club title from his mother, who was actually the former White Queen of said organization… before Voldemort decided to kill her, that is.
- Harry must have access to the mutant power known as Thermokinesis, although his primary focus will be on the generation and manipulation of heat.
- It is important to note that Thermokinesis is different from Pyrokinesis and Cryokinesis, even if those powers are often combined with the former ability.
- One power which Harry absolutely must have is a general immunity to environmental heat, as well as heat-based damage, since it will make his use of such attacks so much smoother.
- To prove this, Harry must dress himself in a Walking Shirtless Scene while it is snowing and go outside to fetch the mail or perform some other trivial activity that makes him look bonkers.
- Harry must be resistant to the freezing aura of dementors due to his ability to generate his own heat, even if he isn’t actually immune to said aura.
Preferred Inclusions:
- When Harry eventually masters Cold Generation, combining it with his pre-existing Heat Generation should give him the ability to generate bolts of electricity.
- Harry should develop a rivalry with Iceman (Robert Drake) of the X-Men due to their opposing elemental associations and equally opposing political alliances.
- Harry should form a romantic bond with Emma Frost, who will be the White Queen to his White King. Any additional pairings would be contingent on Emma’s approval.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could form a Familiar Bond with an Ashwinder, which will allow the magical serpent to live for far longer than the hour such creatures normally have in which to lay their eggs.
- Harry could be required to take a bride for each of the family lines that are under his Aegis.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being convinced to give up his mutant powers.
- Harry being able to manipulate fire and ice directly.
- Harry the Weak Emo Doormat.

Complications
- Fame: Harry is famous within wizarding society for the part he played in vanquishing the dark wizard who styled himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word of honor, strives to uphold the common good, but can be quite devious when it becomes truly necessary.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Relationships: Harry retains a strong loyalty to past friends, such as Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. He is also the godfather of Theodore 'Teddy' Lupin and as such, is on call in case Teddy's grandmother needs him for any reason.
- Significant Other: As the White King of the Hellfire Club, Harry is responsible for supervising the other members of his Court and reporting their activities to the Lord Imperial, Sebastian Shaw. This is especially important in regards to Emma Frost, the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, who is arguably the most troublesome member of the organization, and also one of the more beautiful.
- Weakness: Harry suffers an additional degree of effect when forced to defend himself from cold-based powers. This means that he has to score at least two degrees of success in order to completely resist a cold-based attack.

Alis Accipitris v3 Brainstorm & Notes

Alis Accipitris
Premise: In one universe, Harry Potter became a highly decorated Auror. In another, he pursued the life of a Curse Breaker and ultimately went on to become a world renowned hero who would fight alongside the likes of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be a particularly powerful spellcaster who will ultimately gain sufficient physical strength to be considered a peak example of humanity after finding his Wing Harness.
- The story must start after Harry has both graduated from Hogwarts and taken the necessary licensure tests to become a Curse Breaker instead of an Auror.
- Harry must discover a Thanagarian Wing Harness during a Curse Breaking expedition located in Egypt. The Harness must be one of several which was used by Pharaoh Kartar Hol.
- Harry must have a strong aerokinetic elemental affinity, with a lesser electrokinetic elemental affinity, allowing him to wandlessly generate strong gusts of wind and release static discharges.
- The Wing Harness must augment the Healing Factor that Harry gained access to when he was exposed to the Basilisk’s venom and Fawkes’s tears.
- Avian creatures must regard Harry as a guardian and possibly even a guardian of their nests, which could even extend to Veela since they are often described as partially Avian in nature.
Preferred Inclusions:
- In addition to the Wing Harness, Harry should gain access to an Nth Metal Chakram as his primary weapon, as well as an Nth Metal Buckler Shield.
- Harry should be Katar Hol’s true reincarnation in the modern era, not the man calling himself Carter Hall (who was born under the name of Joseph Gardner).
- Harry should experience some resistance from the Justice League when introducing himself as a hero if he does so after the Thanagarian Invasion.
Optional Inclusions:
- Carter Hall could actually be correct in identifying Shayera Hol as the reincarnation of Chay-Ara Hol, but only if the author wants her to become romantically involved with Harry.
- Harry could become romantically involved with Gabrielle Delacour.

Thunderstruck v7 Brainstorm & Notes

Thunderstruck
Premise: What happens when Harry is rescued from the Dursley's by an ancient Wizard who has managed to survive for over 9,000 years? «Rewrite of my ‘Harry Potter and the Power of SHAZAM!’ fic»
Required Inclusions:
- Jebediah of Canaan must select young Harry Potter as the heir to his legacy after discovering what fate has in store for the young man.
- The Wizard must remove Harry from the Dursley residence, replacing him with a near perfect replica in the form of a Homunculus so that he can raise Harry himself.
- After approximately ten years of training and fun, Harry must regard Jeb as something akin to a grandfather figure, while also spurning Dumbledore’s attempts to fill the same role in his life.
- The Sorcerer must survive until Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts, but after that anything is fair game with regards to what the villains may do to him.
- Harry must actually be one of Jebediah’s direct descendants through his maternal family line, which will serve to aid the Wizard in securing legal custody of the young man in both worlds.
- The Wizard must be capable of recognizing a Horcrux, and must also know how to remove soul fragments from their containers without damaging the vessel.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should not tolerate imbecilic behavior, such as that which is demonstrated by Ronald Weasley and Draco Malfoy… assuming of course that Draco is actually Draco in this fic.
- Harry should be sorted into Hufflepuff in this scenario instead of Gryffindor, as he will know the value of hard work, loyalty and patriotism more than most of the other first years.
- Harry should reveal his true powers to the wizarding public no earlier than the end of his fourth year at Hogwarts during the Battle at Little Hangleton.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry’s glasses, if he wears them, could possess a “True Sight” enchantment.
- Harry could be proficient in wandless magic, even if he tends to use a wand when in his ‘civilian’ persona so as to conceal the fact that he is the superhero known as King Shazam.

Premise: While in Salem, Massachusetts during his post-Hogwarts world tour, young Harry Potter discovers and enters an ancient tower that simply radiates magical energy. In doing so, he secures for himself an apprenticeship with the world’s most powerful sorcerer, one which will see him becoming the new Doctor Fate!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must leave Great Britain to go on a world tour after completing his Hogwarts education, with the tour ultimately ending once he arrives in Salem, Massachusetts.
- Harry must locate and enter the Tower of Fate, and in doing so, secure an apprenticeship with Kent Nelson that will ultimately see Harry replacing Kent as the sorcerer known as Doctor Fate.
- Harry and Nabu must reach an accord that allows Harry to retain full control over his body while wearing the helmet provided that he works towards Nabu’s overall goals.
- If set in the world of Young Justice, then the events of the episode “Denial” must either not happen at all, or else be suitably altered to account for the changes in this challenge.
- Harry must attempt to keep his life as Harry Potter separate from his life as Doctor Fate, how successful he actually is at this goal is up to the author.
- Harry must inherit the antagonists of Doctor Fate when he dons the helmet for the first time, with there being a possibility that the new Anti-Fate is also a character from Potterverse.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should have a Thanagarian ancestor, with the Helmet of Fate somehow triggering a metamorphosis that causes the young hero to grow hawk-like wings similar to Shayera Hol.
- Nabu should actually attempt to possess Harry, but come to grudgingly respect the young man after discovering just how indomitable his willpower actually is.
- Harry should end up romantically involved with one or more of the following: Supergirl, Raven, Hawk (Holly) & Dove (Dawn), an Egyptian goddess, Gabrielle, Daphne and/or Susan.

- Fame: Harry is famous within magical society for the part he played in vanquishing the the self-styled "Dark Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word of honor, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.

- Worthiness: The Helmet of Fate imparts immense knowledge of magic to whoever wears it, but only if it finds them worthy of using it's immense powers. Those who it doesn't find worthy could potentially be subjected to an attack by any of it's assorted mystical effects.

On Garuda's Wings Brainstorm & Notes

On Garuda’s Wings
Premise: Phoenix tears and basilisk venom, two elements that should never meet lest the results be spectacularly unpredictable; which a certain young hero of magic is about to discover.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry’s moral alignment must be Gray (Neutral), as he will happily end the lives of anyone who dares to threaten his loved ones!
- Harry should be at least as powerful as the Warriors Three at the start of the story, if not stronger than they are due to his new superhuman constitution.
- This story must begin at some point after the events which transpire in the Chamber of Secrets, as those events will lay the groundwork for Harry’s transformation.
- During the first chapter of the story, Harry must discover that he is transforming into a Garuda, which is an Avian Being that shares certain characteristics in common with the Phoenix.
- Harry must be far more physically fit after his transformation than he was before the change truly began, with his body quickly becoming the epitome of masculine beauty.
- Harry’s new powers must include Divine Aerokinesis and a powerful Healing Factor, although he won’t possess the Burning Days that his Phoenix cousins are known for.
- Because Garuda are known for being Spirits of Protection, Harry must find a charge to protect from all harm, even going so far as to sacrifice his own life so that his ward might live.
- Other avian creatures, including Veela, must regard Harry as either royalty, a flock leader, a nest guardian, or whatever else might be appropriate for the species in question.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should be a crossover with Marvel Comics, with Harry actually coming to the attention of the Vedic Pantheon after his transformation becomes known to the public.
- Harry’s initial transformation should destroy the Horcrux in his scar, however it is up to the author whether Harry ever learns about the existence of that Horcrux.
- Unlike the Phoenix, Garuda should have been extinct prior to Harry’s transformation, which means that Harry will be forced to interact with conservationists, and also with poachers.
- Harry should be able to hurl his feather’s as though they were fiery blades, creating a flechette storm that is also covered in fire.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could discover that his transformation has also given him the powers of a Demigod, similar to those which were possessed by the Garuda from Hindu mythology.
- To go along with the conservationist comment, Harry could find himself at the center of a small harem that has at least one member who is a Veela.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry becoming romantically involved with a male.
- Harry’s human form looking meek or pathetic.
- Harry the Dark or Light Emo Doormat.
- Harry siding with Voldemort.

- Destiny: It is Harry's destiny to be the one who vanquishes the dark wizard who styles himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word of honor and strives to uphold the common good.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: As a Garuda, Harry is motivated by an instinctual urge to protect others and will even throw his own life away if it means he can save the life of the one person he has sworn to protect at all costs. He just hasn't found that person yet.

- Responsibility: As the sole living Garuda, it is Harry's civic duty to assist magical conservationists in their efforts to repopulate the species. Unfortunately, these same conservationists haven't bothered to study muggle genetics since... Oh, about a decade before Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald!
