Complications
- Fame: Harry is famous within wizarding society for the part he played in vanquishing the dark wizard who styled himself as "Lord Voldemort."

Ira Furor Brevis Est
Premise: The problem with Emoticlones, is that they will sometimes escape from your head, travel to the past and live entire lives of their own that are largely independent from yours, only for you to track them down and drag them back to the future, at which point you’ll discover that the clone had a son named Harry Potter!
Required Inclusions:
- Rage must somehow manage to escape from Raven’s mind, allowing her to manifest in the real world for an indeterminate period of time.
- Rage’s absence from Raven’s mind must cause unpleasant changes in the girl that will lead her on a quest to reclaim her missing emoticlone and return it to its proper place.
- Rage must somehow be involved in the birth of Harry Potter prior to when she will be drawn back into Raven’s mind, effectively making the Emoticlone one of Harry’s parents.
- Rage must be aware of Harry’s existence, but also manage to keep him a secret from Raven and the other Emoticlones until such time as the heroine meets Harry in person.
- Harry and Raven must encounter one another for the first time at some point between his second and fifth years of attendance at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.
- Harry and Raven must share a sibling-esque relationship with one another, with Rage herself still harboring a maternal relationship with Harry.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Rage should have posed as Lily Potter, allowing her to actually be Harry’s biological mother in a purely literal sense of the words.
- Harry should inherit powers which resemble those of the other members in the Trigon Lineage, but with a significant focus on the emotion known as Rage (Wrath).
- Rage should make use of time travel in order to both escape Raven’s notice and form the relationship which will lead to Harry’s conception and birth.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry and Raven could become romantically involved, in spite of the fact that they consider each other to be siblings, due to the seemingly incestuous nature of Trigon’s lineage.
- Trigon could attempt to use Harry as a door into the Earth Realm, just as he did with Raven.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry becoming romantically involved with a male.

He is also known for keeping his word of honor, striving to uphold the common good, and he is never underhanded in his dealings.

Dark Calling Brainstorm & Notes

Dark Calling
Premise: Harry Potter thought his life would be easy after defeating Voldemort, but he was wrong. Not only does Destiny seem reluctant to let him 'retire' but Harry now has to contend with the existence of superheroes, metahumans & magicians with powers unlike anything Harry’s ever seen before! Can’t he ever catch a break?
Required Inclusions:
- While Harry will usually prefer to incapacitate his enemies, he must be willing to use lethal force against those enemies who are completely irredeemable (i.e. Voldemort, Darkseid, etc…)
- Harry must be the Master of Death in this scenario, which comes with a massive augmentation to his magical abilities that places him on the same plateau as the Lords of Order and Chaos.
- This story must begin after Harry has completed his time as a student at Hogwarts and successfully defeated the dark wizard commonly known as Voldemort.
- Harry must be approached by Zatanna or Constantine at some point during the first couple of chapters with an urgent request for assistance of the magical kind.
- The specific nature of the magical threat is negotiable, but Harry’s status as the Master of Death will mean that he’s the only one who can deal with it in a permanent manner.
- Because of his own trials, Harry must be incredibly reluctant to become involved with the Capes and Cowls, but must also eventually relent and join up with Justice League: Dark.
- Harry must disapprove of Batman’s general skepticism in regards to magic, as well as the Caped Crusader’s staunch support of the badly flawed Gotham City justice system.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should be a crossover with either the DC Animated Movies (Justice League Dark/Apokolips War) or the Constantine series from the CW’s Arrowverse.
- As the Master of Death, Harry should exude an aura that gives him the ability to intimidate those who are closely associated with death, such as Boston Brand.
- As the Master of Death, Harry should also be resistant or even immune to “Deathly” powers, such as Darkseid’s Omega Beams.
- Black Orchid and the House of Mysteries should accept Harry as their new master (lover), which could end up irking Constantine quite a lot.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could actually be from an alternate reality where there were no Capes and Cowls.
- Constantine could offer to teach Harry spells which would allow him to tap into the powers of the Netherworld, solidifying Harry’s status as the Master of Death.
- Harry could end up with multiple romantic partners.

Whatever It Takes
Premise: Harry Potter always wanted to help people, but he’d been through enough battles with dark wizards to last multiple lifetimes. So naturally, he decided to join an international spy organization that is dedicated to protecting the world from threats most people could hardly imagine instead of becoming an Auror.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be recruited by the Special Tactical Reserve for International Key Emergencies after completing his Hogwarts education.
- As a member of S.T.R.I.K.E., Harry will work closely with Captain Britain and the other heroes who are members of the team known as Excalibur.
- One of the primary tasks Harry undertakes for S.T.R.I.K.E. must be counterintelligence operations against the Black Widow Program.
- Harry must be incredibly powerful, with the ability to use his magic without the assistance of a wand, and he must be capable of using his magic to augment his physical abilities.
- Harry must keep in contact with the wizarding world but will mostly live in the muggle world due to the convenience it provides him with the job he does for S.T.R.I.K.E.
- Harry’s primary romantic interest must be a graduate of the Red Room Academy, but it needs to be said that this romance will most likely be a very slow burn.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should be at S.T.R.I.K.E. Headquarters when Vixen attempts to infiltrate the organization, allowing him to derail her villainous plot and save the Psi-Division.
- Magic should be something of an open secret in Great Britain, with most upper level members of the muggle government and military, and even a few civilians, being aware of its existence.
- Elizabeth Braddock’s purple hair and asiatic features could be explained by having her be Brian’s half-sister by a different mother, with their father actually caring for both equally.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could receive an invitation to join the Hellfire Club, or inherit a membership therein.
- Harry could find his romantic life expanding to include Elizabeth Braddock, Emma Frost (or Selene Gallio), and a witch of the author's choosing.

Touch the Sky Brainstorm & Notes

Touch the Sky
Premise: The very last thing that the newlywed James and Lily Potter ever expected to find while investigating a celestial anomaly was a baby boy with pointed ears at the end of an aurora borealis. But the child was a gift from the heavens since James couldn’t sire an heir due to a vicious curse. Little did they know that they had adopted the lost prince of Alfheim.
Required Inclusions:
- The boy known as Harry Potter must actually be a Ljósálfur, or in other words, a Light Elf.
- The baby was unfortunately caught in one of the dimensional shallows that open naturally at irregular intervals all over the nine Realms.
- What permitted the survival of the defenseless babe was the strong protective enchantments woven around him by his late biological parents.
- Harry must possess limited metamorphic talents that allow him to adjust his features from Elven to Human at will.
- Even camouflaged as a human, Harry can’t control the fact that he is naturally stronger and sturdier than baseline humans and several magical beings even as a child.
- The reason why no one from Alfheim came looking for Harry is because Odin Allfather decreed that Midgard was off-limits to the denizens of the Upper Realms.
- Harry must possess a natural talent for druidic magic on top of what he’ll learn at Hogwarts.
- Harry must, at least once, manage to deflate Loki’s ego, much to his brother’s amusement. How he does manage that will be left to the author’s discretion.
- While the legitimacy of Sybil Trelawney’s first prophecy is debatable, Harry won’t have a choice but to act since Voldemort will never leave him to live in peace.
- The main romantic pairing in this scenario will be Harry x Fleur. Other women are allowed should they obtain Fleur’s blessing.
- Harry must eventually be contacted by an ambassador of sorts from Alfheim once Odin’s decree is lifted due to Thor’s exile being rescinded.
Preferred Inclusions:
- If Harry wears glasses at all, then they should be enchanted with the True Sight spell, rather than having anything to do with correcting his vision.
- Harry should conspire with Rubeus Hagrid so that the gamekeeper oversees as many of the young hero’s detentions as possible so that they can go on hikes through the Forbidden Forest.
- Harry should bypass the need to return to the Dursley residence during his summer vacations by randomly selecting which friend he spends his summers with each year.
- The timeline of Potterverse should be advanced so that it more closely aligns with the timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- Harry should be one of several individuals who Nick Fury selects as a candidate for the Avengers Initiative when that program eventually gets started.

- The Marauders and the Weasley Twins could be devotees to Loki, their pranks serving as offerings to the trickster god and perhaps inspiration for his own pranks.

In that reality, she was the daughter of the Phoenix and Scott Summers. When the Sentinels took over her reality, Rachel was sent into the past in hopes that she could repair the damaged timeline. The world she found however, bore several distinct differences from the one she was familiar with... such as the existence of an entire hidden society of magic users.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Rachel was sent back in time in order to prevent an Anti-Mutant Holocaust, and is now actively trying to help Charles Xavier create a world where mutants and mundane humans can coexist in peace and harmony.
- Power Loss: Rachel will occasionally burn out her powers, which means she'll become Powerless until the end of the Scene in which this complication is triggered.
- Relationships: While she's not from this reality, the local Scott Summers does recognize her as his daughter, and that recognition will be shared by the local Jean Grey when she eventually returns to life. She also considers Scott's son with Madelyn Pryor to be her brother due to the fact that Maddie is Jean's clone.
- Weakness: Rachel regularly finds herself being baffled by magic and magical phenomena. This is something which extends to her powers, which are considered to be Disabled against magical individuals and relics. Furthermore, she has a Will Resistance of 5 when defending herself from magical mind control.

Complications
- Disability: The graduation ceremony for the Red Room Academy involves an involuntary hysterectomy.
- Motivation: Justice: Yelena is fully cognizant of her brainwashing, and would like nothing better than to have it removed so that she can claim vengeance upon those who have shackled her mind.
- Psychological Conditioning: Graduates of the Red Room Academy have been subjected to long term psychological conditioning that turns them into ruthless killers that will follow their orders to the letter. It is, however, possible to negate this conditioning using a variety of techniques, one of which is exposure to highly concentrated bursts of magical energy.
- Quirk: Yelena likes to taunt her older sister Natasha for her tendency to "pose", and she is a well known backseat driver who will regularly snark at the "bad plans" of other people and is also known for talking people's ears off.
- Relationships: Yelena considers Alexei Alanovich Shastokov and Melina Vostokoff to be her father and mother, and Natasha Romanoff to be her elder sister. She has no memories of her birth parents or any siblings she might have had prior to becoming a student at the Red Room Academy.
- Tracker: Every Black Widow has a subdermal GPS unit which tracks their location and reports it back to Dreykov, the man who currently controls the Black Widow Program.
