Familia Supra Omnia Brainstorm & Notes

Familia Supra Omnia
Premise: This is a world in which the son of Superman and Wonder Woman was abducted by a manipulative old man who then fostered the lad with James and Lily Potter. This is the story of the Boy Who Lived to become the new Superboy! «Blends DCAU & New 52 themes»
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter is in reality none other than Hunter Kent, the son of Clark Kent (Superman) and Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), and heir to both of their legacies.
- Harry must possess powers which merge those of his parents, since both Kryptonians and Demigods possess remarkably similar abilities in most versions of the DC Universe.
- Harry, as Hunter, must have been abducted by Albus ‘too many names’ Dumbledore, who also managed to seal a fair bit of his powers so that he wouldn’t be a danger to those around him.
- Harry’s true powers must finally reveal themselves during a moment where Harry’s life is truly in danger of being snuffed out, such as during the battle with the Basilisk or the Dementors.
- Harry must be around the same age as Kara In-Ze, who will be his primary romantic interest in this scenario; although other girls are permissible if they gain Kara’s approval first.
- Harry’s morals and ethics must mesh with those of his eventual teammates, regardless of whether those teammates are the Teen Titans or Young Justice.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry’s heroic costume, once he has it commissioned, should be modeled on the costume worn by his birth father, although it should also have a few touches of personal flair.
- In terms of raw physical power, Harry should be on approximately the same level as the original incarnation of Superman from back in the late 1930’s, albeit with the ability to fly.
- In addition to the above, Harry should also possess a fair degree of agility due to his maternal heritage, although the exact extent of this inheritance is up to the author.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry’s practical knowledge of magic could easily rival the knowledge possessed by characters such as Zatanna and Raven, even if his theoretical knowledge isn’t as good.
- Harry could replicate the Marauder’s by becoming an illegal Animagus.
Forbidden Things:
- Dumbledore being able to rebind Harry’s powers after the seal breaks.
- Harry the Malevolent Emo Doormat.

- Relationships: Harry is biologically, the son of Clark Kent (aka Superman) and Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman), but to most people, he is the son of the late Lord James and Lady Lily Potter, and is actually recognized as their rightful heir. He is also the godson of a man known as Sirius Black, who is currently the most undesirable man in Wizarding Britain.
- Weakness: The radiation of Green Kryptonite saps the powers of Kryptonians, leaving them impaired, disabled, and eventually debilitated. Long-term exposure (usually only a matter of minutes, less for a large enough quantities) imposes the dying condition and may lead to death. Other types of Kryptonite can also weaken, or even empower, Kryptonians in a wide variety of ways.

- Fame: Kara, as Supergirl, is so incredibly famous in Japan, that people have gotten kicked in the shin for badmouthing her!
- Motivation: Protector: Kara feels it is incredibly important to use her powers to defend the citizens of the world she has come to see as her new home.
- Overconfident: Kara is known for charging into battle without taking the time to assess whether or not she's biting off more than she can chew.
- Power Loss: Kara's Toughness is not Impervious when dealing with magical attacks. - Quirk: Kara has a tendency to avoid wearing shoes whenever and wherever possible! Then again, it's not like she really needs them...
- Relationships: Kara is Superman (Clark Kent)'s adoptive cousin, and through him, the adoptive niece of Ma and Pa Kent. She is also Batgirl (Barbara Gordon)'s best friend.
- Shop Smart, Shop Doppelmart: Between the effects of Black Kryptonite, her clone, and the existence of countless parallel Earth's, Kara tends to run into alternate versions of herself more frequently than just about any other hero, save the Big Three.

Complications
- Motivation: Responsibility: Clark was raised in such a way as to believe that those with great power should use that power to make the world a better place for everyone.
- Power Loss: Clark's Toughness is not Impervious when dealing with magical attacks. Furthermore, while under the light of a red star his Strength and Stamina scores will each lower by 1 rank per round until they each reach a rank of 3. He'll also lose access to all of his superhuman abilities when exposed to such light. This also extends to effects which drain or interfere with the light of a yellow sun.
- Relationships: Clark is the ex-boyfriend of Wonder Woman, the current boyfriend of Lois Lane and also the biological father of Harry Potter. He has also recently adopted a young woman known as Kara In-Ze into the paternal side of his own adoptive family.
- Temper: Clark is generally a kind and all-loving individual, but hurt the people he cares about and he is both willing and capable of unleashing a metric ton of hurt upon your world.
- Weakness: The radiation of Green Kryptonite saps the powers of Kryptonians, leaving them impaired, disabled, and eventually debilitated. Heir to Thunder
Premise: Just before his true coronation, Thor Odinson and his three friends traveled to Midgard for drinks and reminiscence. But since the Norns truly love him, Thor met a beautiful redhead who was drowning her sorrows in alcohol. Nine months later, Thor was King, but he already lost his heir! «Godlike!Harry»
Required Inclusions:
- Prior to his true coronation, Thor and his friends must travel to Midgard for a celebration since Thor would be too busy for frivolous pursuits once he is King.
- Thor must share a fateful encounter with a young and extremely distraught Lily Potter due to his decision to celebrate his coronation in Great Britain.
- What Thor won’t know for several years is that his blissful night with the young redhead resulted in the conception and eventual birth of his first heir.
- James must eventually forgive his wife for her infidelity, even going so far as to adopt her child as his Heir Designate, since he wanted to avoid having the Peverell Cloak become Masterless.
- It must be Harry’s Æsir heritage which allowed him to escape the clutches of Death on the night that Voldemort paid the Potter domicile a personal visit.
- Harry’s existence must eventually be discovered and reported to the King of Asgard. How Thor reacts to this news is entirely up to the author.
- Harry must prove his Worth to the upper echelons of Æsir Society if he is to be considered a Prince of Asgard since he was born from an illegitimate union.
- To that end, Thor must send his old hammer down to Midgard for Harry to try to lift, and if successful, Harry must become the new God of Thunder.
- Harry’s primary romantic pairing must be a Fertility Goddess; with Loki’s daughter, Sylvie, being the preferred candidate. He is, however, allowed to have a harem.
Preferred Inclusions:
- In addition to Harry, Thor should also have a daughter (either Thrud or Torunn), and a son (Modi), with Harry effectively taking the place of Magni in this scenario.
- Most Pure-Bloods in Wizarding Society should still worship the Pagan Deities of their respective regions instead of the God who is mentioned in the Bible.
- Harry should hit the Goblet of Fire with a powerful blast of destructive energy (a God-Blast) after being selected as the Fourth Champion in the Triwizard Tournament.
- Harry should have an easier time bonding with Loki than he does most other Æsir due to the fact that they are both ostracized by the citizens of Asgard.
Optional Inclusions:
- Dumbledore could decide to hire Loki as the Defence instructor for Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts, rather than allowing the Ministry to sink their claws into his school.
- Ron and/or Hermione could say something which is rather insulting regarding Amora, only to discover the goddess in question is within hearing range and that she has taken umbrage.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry giving adults more authority over his life than they deserve.
- Harry having an easy time claiming his place in Æsir Society.
- Harry becoming romantically involved with a male character.
- Harry Martyring himself for the people of Wizarding Britain.
- Harry having the same amount of money as Tony Stark.

- Easiily Distracted: Fleur finds it incredibly difficult to focus on anything but her sister when Gabrielle is in close proximity to her. This isn't because she is attracted to her sister or anything, but rather because she is very protective of the younger Veela.
- Honor: Fleur will always keep her word, strives to uphold the Greater Good, and is never underhanded in her dealings.
- Marked: As an Unmated Veela, Fleur possesses a Mating Brand on the back of her neck. This brand takes the form of her True Name in Ancient Veelish and can be used in conjunction with one of the feathers from her wings and an Ancient Veelish incantation to compel her to perform a solitary action as though she had been placed under the Imperius Curse. It can also be used with another Ancient Veelish incantation in order to force Fleur into revealing her true nature even when she doesn't wish to do such a thing.
- Motivation: Recognition: Fleur decided to participate in the Triwizard Tournament because she wants to prove her worth to the other students of Beauxbatons.
- Relationships: Fleur is the eldest child of Apolline and Jacques Delacour, and therefore the older sister of Gabrielle Delacour. She has also admitted to having a wand with one of her grandmother's hairs as it's core, indicating that they have a remarkably close relationship.
- Vulnerability: Fleur will become violently nauseous whenever she uses her Detect Compatible Mate power on someone who is the absolute worst possible match for her.
- Weakness: Fleur suffers an automatic degree of effect when defending herself from cold-based attacks and wrought iron weaponry.

Carmen Umbrae Ignisque
Premise: The last thing Harry expected to discover while clearing his mind for Occlumency lessons, was a powerful shadow dragon sleeping soundly within the recesses of his mind. Naturally this means Snape should beware, “for thou art crunchy when roasted and taste good with ketchup.”
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must discover the shadow dragon that sleeps within his mind no earlier than the middle of his fifth year at Hogwarts during his attempts to learn the subtle art of Occlumency.
- The Shadow Dragon must actually be the Kryptonian deity known as the Nightwing, with his bond to Harry likely being caused by the latter’s frequent brushes with death.
- Nightwing must help Harry find and secure a Familiar who shares an elemental alignment with the Shadow Dragon, with there being a distinct preference for a Shadow Snake.
- Harry must be far smarter in this story than his canonical depiction would have allowed for. The logical explanation for this is that he held back on his intellect for the benefit of others.
- Someone in a position of power within Wizarding Society must be aware of Harry’s Quasi-Divine Status, although they don’t need to know the exact nature thereof.
- The canonical prophecy relating to the final confrontation between Harry and Voldemort must be false, although that doesn’t mean they need to be allies for one another.
- Sirius must remain alive throughout the duration of the story, and he must eventually be granted an exoneration that is swiftly followed by an expungement of his criminal record.
- Harry’s primary romantic partner must be the current Avatar for the Flamebird, another of the Kryptonian Deities who migrated to Earth, with any additional pairings requiring her approval.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story must be a crossover with the Superman comic book universe, and could possibly extend into the greater DC Comics universe.
- Harry should be particularly powerful, but he doesn’t need to be on the same level as a true Kryptonian in terms of his raw physical strength.
- Harry should request to be moved to one of the other Dorms within Hogwarts after it becomes clear that his new status as a God of Darkness makes him persona non grata in Gryffindor.
- Dumbledore should be portrayed as a benevolent, if flawed, individual who truly wants the best for the people of Wizarding Society, even if he has made several flawed decisions in his life.
Optional Inclusions:
- The current Avatar for the Vohc could be a female who is just as eager to engage in romance with Harry as the Avatar for the Flamebird will be.
- Harry could actually be Lor-Zod, with his birth parents sending him to Earth shortly after his birth in the Phantom Zone so that he can prepare the world for when they eventually escape.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry’s connection to the Nightwing being derived from the Scarcrux.
- Harry siding with General Dru-Zod if he is the man’s son.
- Harry surrendering his mantle of divinity.
