Harry and the Beast Brainstorm & Notes

Harry and the Beast
Premise: Trihexa, Beast of Revelation, Apocalyptic Beast, 666, all of these are names ascribed to the *Thing* that the God from the Bible sealed away towards the end of the Great War, using so much of his power that he died shortly afterwards. Centuries later, the Beast sent an emissary into the world that was soon found by an interesting and powerful young Wizard.
Required Inclusions:
- The Trihexa in this story appears as a young woman who will end up becoming romantically involved with the story’s protagonist, Harry Potter.
- The story must take place after the Battle of Hogwarts, it is up to the author whether this means it occurs right after the battle ends, or if it happens a few years down the line.
- This story’s Trihexa must suffer from a case of amnesia that makes it impossible for her to remember her past, most of her name, and why she was sent to the mortal world.
- Despite being only a fragment of Trihexa’s power, the newly named Tria must still be incredibly powerful, capable of operating on at least the level of an Ultimate-class being.
- The supernatural Powers That Be must discover Tria’s existence and send emissaries to investigate her intentions, leading to conflicts between the factions as well as with Harry.
- At least one particularly stubborn devil must be chased away using Harry’s Patronus Charm, proving to the supernatural community just how versatile Wizards actually are.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Tria should rebel against her creator, siding with humanity and whoever else aligns themselves with her lover against the Beast of Apocalypse.
- Harry should discover that the Cloak of Invisibility is actually the Sealed Form of an incredibly powerful Hereditary Sacred Gear known as Demon Armor Incursio.
- Harry should retain his independence from the various supernatural factions, being more than strong enough to stand against the forces that would attempt to take Tria from him.
Optional Inclusions:
- The other two Deathly Hallows could also be sealed forms for Hereditary Sacred Gears that are also inspired by the anime series Akame Ga Kill.
- Harry could end up attracting his own harem. The full extent of that harem is up to the author.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry and Tria, the Malevolent Emo Doormats.

Mechanics Addendum
From now on, I'll be building Sacred Gear as Removable devices. The general hubris I'll be using is that the Initial Form is the form they take when not in use, unless the Gear has the "Concealable" extra, in which case they can "conceal" themselves inside the wielder's soul (i.e. Boosted Gear, Twilight Healing & Divine Dividing). I am doing this because several non-Independent Avatar Gears have wound up in the possession of people other than their original hosts, and because it makes building the Gears infinitely easier (not to mention cheaper).

Complications
- Fame: Harry is famous within magical society for the part he played in vanquishing the dark wizard who styled himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word of honor, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young god and will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by people who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Power Loss: Harry's ability to access his Balance Breaker is contingent upon his ability to maintain a good relationship with Tria. If that relationship were to ever be broken, then he would immediately lose access to his Balance Breaker. He also won't be able access it until after he successfully forms a bond with Tria.
- Relationships: Harry retains a strong loyalty to past friends, such as Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. He is also the godfather of Theodore 'Teddy' Lupin and as such, is on call in case Teddy's grandmother needs him for any reason.

Complications
- Amnesia: Tria suffers from a condition that most people would describe as severe Retrograde Amensia, but which is actually a case of Infantile Amnesia due to her actual chronological age. This means she is incapable of remembering anything which happened to her prior to meeting Harry for the first time.
- Apocalyptic Aura: Tria emits a distinct aura that reveals her nature as the Avatar of 666 (Trihexa). This aura is powerful enough that even people with absolutely no magical affinity can sense it, which will lead to them becoming unsettled in her presence.
- Curse Sworn: Tria's status as the Avatar of the Apocalyptic Beast means that she must in some way attempt to further Trihexa's goals within the world of humans or risk losing her powers. The problem is that she doesn't actually know what these goals are, or how to go about furthering them.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Tria wishes to live a life where she isn't constantly being pursued by the Powers That Be and their various military forces.
- Significant Other: Tria considers Harry to be her best friend, since he is currently the only person in the cosmos who sees her as a person rather than some sort of monster.
- Weakness: Tria suffers one additional degree of effect from powers with the "Axiomatic" descriptor. Such powers include Holy Radiance, but not Fallen Radiance.

- Accidents: Ereshkigal is an absolutely horrendous cook, and will occasionally create minor Lovecraftian Horrors when trying to make some sort of confectionery delight.
- Disbarred: Ereshkigal was once a celestial goddess, but has been forbidden entry into the Heavenly Realms ever since she descended into the Underworld and took up her throne within the Palace of Ganzir. It is however, still possible for her to leave Irkalla so long as she doesn't attempt to enter Heaven.
- Motivation: Protector: Ereshkigal is the humanoid embodiment of Irkalla, and she also truly wishes to preserve the lives of as many humans as possible, meaning that she effectively embodies the quote "hic locus est ubi mors gaudet succurrere vitae."
- Relationships: Ereshkigal is effectively the maternal aunt of every single angel who dwells within the Heavenly Realms, as well as being the maternal aunt of every single Fallen Angel, and the many times removed maternal grand-aunt of all currently living Devils.

Song of the Sea Brainstorm & Notes

Song of the Sea
Premise: Morgan Le Fay was living in a gilded cage. While she wasn’t rotting in some dank dungeon deep underground, she was still unable to leave Tír na nÓg. It was her punishment for all the wrongs she committed in life. Then something happened to break the monotony of her immortal existence. For the first time in centuries, Sguaba Tuinne docked at the harbour!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be the current incarnation of the Celtic deity known to the world as Manannan Mac Lir.
- This story must begin at some point after the Battle of Hogwarts, but when that tracks onto the High School DxD timeline has been left open to the author’s interpretation.
- After gaining the powers of the Man of the Sea, Harry must leave on a journey of self discovery, which will eventually steer him towards Tír na nÓg.
- The original Morgan Le Fay must still be alive, and serving a lifetime prison sentence as a guest in Mac Lir’s palace for the crimes she committed during King Arthur’s reign.
- Harry must decide to give Morgan a second chance after getting to know her, and must modify the Geas trapping her within Tír na nÓg so that she can travel the world at his side.
- Harry must reach this decision after witnessing Morgan’s sincere regret for her actions during Arthur’s reign and her desire to make reparations for those same actions.
- Harry and Morgan must eventually make their way to Kuoh Town, where they will become involved in the events which are transpiring in the current generation's supernatural hub.
- Some of the older supernatural beings must harbor grudges against Mac Lir and the Tuatha Dé, with Harry effectively inheriting those grudges due to being Mac Lir’s reincarnation.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Morgan should be quite surprised when Harry doesn’t follow in his predecessor’s footsteps by invading her bedchambers without invitation, leading to him earning her favor early on.
- Harry and Morgan should engage in lively debates about the former’s self-effacing nobility and the latter’s snooty personality.
- Harry should send Issei an invoice and demand compensation when the latter eventually uses Dress Break on one of Morgan’s incredibly expensive dresses.
- Harry’s journey of self-discovery could lead him to various supernatural beings who each offer to help whip him into proper fighting trim.
Optional Inclusions:
- The ladies of the ORC and Kuoh Academy Student Council could throw an extravagant babyshower when Morgan eventually becomes pregnant with Harry’s child.
- Harry could hand Vali his arse on a silver platter, providing the White Dragon Emperor with a desperately needed reality check.

- Harry and Morgan swearing loyalty to one faction over another.
- Harry sharing the mentality of his divine predecessor.
