Complications

- Power Loss: Minako loses access to her superhuman powers and her strength is reduced to rank 1 while she is pretending to be nothing more than an ordinary school girl.
- Recognition: Minako wants to make a name for herself as a world class idol singer so that she can officially retire from her career as the masked vigilante known only as Sailor V.

Complications
- Grim Reaper Archetype: While it is true that Sailor Saturn has the most devastating attack out of the combined Inner and Outer Senshi, the fact remains that Sailor Pluto is the Senshi who is most closely linked to the concept which gave rise to death as a concept. After all, "In strange aeons, even Death may die."
- Motivation: Responsibility: Setsuna is responsible for safeguarding the timestream and ensuring that the monsters from the distant future or ancient past do not begin waging war on the present day.
- Oathsworn: Melinoe has sworn herself to uphold three sacred rules: to guard the space-time doors, to not allow others to travel through time, and to never use her powers to stop time. Setsuna can violate the first and second taboos if doing so helps her fellow Senshi, but violating the third can and will kill her.
- Power Loss: Depriving Setsuna of the Garnet Rod will lower her Strength score by 2 ranks and her Agility score by 3. This is in addition to the loss of the powers which are attached to the Garnet Rod. Aside from that however, Setsuna suffers no other penalties while pretending to be a normal human being.
- Significant Other: Setsuna is apparently the only Senshi of the distant future who paid any attention to Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity ("Don't call me that!"), and is responsible for giving Chibiusa the odd toy/nanny known as Luna-P, and also allowed the young-looking princess to steal one of her Space-Time Keys (as if she didn't know).

Build Comments
I opted to give Setsuna a Communication Link with her Temporal Analogues because there really isn't any other way to build her ability to perceive her own existence at any point in the timestream without incurring a significant increase in her Power Point total. Also, Time Alter ~ Cubed Accel would be called "Haste" in Dungeons and Dragons terminology, and thus isn't really an example of her Time Stop power.

Complications
- Amnesia: Mamoru was an only child who lived with his parents until the age of six when all three of them were involved in a terrible accident that killed his mother and father while also giving him a case of Retrograde Amnesia, making it impossible for him to remember anything which occurred before the accident.
- Cassandra Truth: Mamoru managed to detect the Kyuubi's demonic chakra when he first encountered Naruto, and has been trying (and failing) to convince the Inner Senshi that the blonde warrior is actually a threat... which is actually true if you really stop and think about it!
- Motivation: I Dreamed A Dream: Mamoru is pleagued by dreams of a mysterious girl who is begging him to find something called the "Silver Crystal." That, combined with his amnesia, has led him on a quest for answers that he believes he'll find once he fulfills his dream-girl's request.
- Weakness: Mamoru is Impaired on his Resistance Checks against Mental Control.

Complications:
- United We Stand: Individually, the Six Paths of Pain are Power Level 8 characters that were built according to Quick & Easy Villains toolbar, however they each possess 2 ranks in the Improved Team Attack advantage, a Communication Link with Nagato and the other Paths and Radius Vision while they are within arms reach of one of the other Paths. This makes them far more dangerous when confronted as a group than when confronted individually. However, the Deva Path can use Extraordinary Effort to release a city-destroying pulse of gravity.
- Crippling Weakness: Nagato is arguably the most powerful person in the Elemental Nations, and yet he is also incapable of moving without the assistance of others and could probably be killed by a stiff breeze. In other words, all you have to do to defeat him, is reach him!

Inari's Favored Shinobi Brainstorm & Notes

Inari’s Favored Shinobi
Premise: This is the story of the world’s luckiest Shinobi. His name? Uzumaki Naruto. The reason he is so lucky? Why, he’s the favored soul of the goddess known as Inari. Naturally, this means his adventures will be just chock full of hilarious hijinks and beautiful women!
Required Inclusions:
- Naruto’s existence must come to the attention of Inari Ōkami, who will decide to bless him with incredible luck for whatever reason that the author can come up with.
- One side effect of this blessing is that Naruto will begin to exhibit abilities that closely resemble those of a Kitsune, such as True Shapeshifting, and enhanced olfactory senses.
- Another benefit of this blessing is that Naruto will always have exactly the right amount of monetary assets in order to buy whatever it is that he needs at any given moment in time.
- Naruto’s education as a Shinobi must come easier to him in this reality, since his luck will ensure that he masters things more swiftly than his canonical counterpart.
- With that said, there must be those who still treat him particularly cruelly, since he will still be the Kyuubi’s container in this reality, meaning he will be susceptible to berserker rampages.
- While Naruto’s luck will see him winning a fair number of his battles, there must still be situations where his luck simply isn’t good enough to overcome the opposition, at least initially.
Preferred Inclusions:
- One of the many benefits of Naruto’s enhanced luck is that it will draw beautiful women towards him like moths to an open flame. This won’t become evident till he is older, though.
- Inari should teach Naruto how to activate Senjutsu, giving him access to the Vulpine Sage Transformation, instead of having him learn the art from the Toad Sages.
- Naruto should be more tactical in how he approaches the Shadow Clone technique, since the way he made use of it in canon would make his luck far less obvious than it will be in this fic.
Optional Inclusions:
- Naruto’s enhanced senses could pick up on the fact that “Uchiha Sasuke” is actually a girl, which could in turn lead to a rather interesting relationship between the two teammates.
- Inari herself could become a romantic interest for Naruto in the fullness of time.

Complications
- All the Girls Want Her: Satsuki's tendency to dress and behave like a boy has caused her to develop a rather large, and rather rabid, fanbase among Konohagakure's female population. The most dangerous of these fangirls is Haruno Sakura, because she happens to be on the same Team as Satsuki and Naruto.
- Curse of Hatred: The easiest way to unlock the most powerful form of the Sharingan, is by killing the person that the Uchiha holds closest to their heart, which in Satsuki's case, is Uzumaki Naruto. What is worse, the Sharingan will slowly cause her to go blind once it has achieved that evolution. Fortunately, she has yet to awaken her family legacy, and is thus still reliant on the jutsu she learned at the Academy or from her family's secret scrolls.
- Motivation: Justice: Satsuki is driven by a strong sense of justice, and wishes to avenge the loss of life that occurred during the Uchiha Massacre, since she is one of only a small number of her kinsmen who managed to survive that incident, and it was her own brother who engineered the disaster. This desire also ties into many of her other complications, since it has distorted her entire world view.
- Secret Identity: Satsuki has gotten it into her head that only a male Shinobi will be successful in defeating her brother, and has therefore determined that she has to present herself as a male in order to avenge her family. This is problematic because she has been crossdressing for so long that practically everyone she knows believes in the lie that is Uchiha Sasuke.
- Unintentional Rivalry: Satsuki has developed a reputation for being the Ace of her team, and has therefore earned the attention of several people, including but not limited to Gaara of the Hidden Sand and Hyuuga Neji. Many of these individuals wish to challenge Sasuke to a fight just to prove their superiority over him. It's worth noting that Neji is currently too full of himself to work out the truth of Satsuki's identity in the way that his Cousin Hinata did back when they first met.

The Shinobi's Path Brainstorm & Notes

The Shinobi’s Path
Premise: After being injured on a mission, Hatake Kakashi decides to spend some time watching over his Sensei’s son, only to discover that young Naruto is the village’s pariah and that the boy is struggling to become the best Shinobi that he possibly can be. This spurs Kakashi to guide his mentor’s son along the Shinobi’s Path in a way he could have never imagined!
Required Inclusions:
- Hatake Kakashi must suffer an injury that removes him from active duty as a Shinobi for a protracted period of time. This injury must occur prior to when the story begins.
- Kakashi must spend his time in recuperation watching over his mentor’s son, Uzumaki Naruto, which will lead to the discovery of just how poorly Naruto is being treated by the villagers.
- As a result, Kakashi must decide to his the Transformation Technique to appear as someone that is Naruto’s own age so that he can aid Naruto as a peer, rather than an authority figure.
- Naruto must, with Kakashi’s assistance, gain access to the Uzumaki Clan Compound, and with that access, gain knowledge of the Hijutsu of the Uzumaki Clan.
- It must be possible to pass the Genin Exams without knowing the “Basic Three” if a Shinobi has proficiency in their Clan’s Hidden Techniques, or has special training from a Jounin.
- Graduation from the Shinobi Academy must take place at least two years later than it does in canon so that the author can avoid the squickiness of romantically active twelve year olds.
- In this scenario, the youngest member of the Uchiha remnant must be a girl that is known as Uchiha Satsuki, and she will have a tsundere crush on our favorite knucklehead ninja.
- This story must portray the common people of Konoha in a rather negative light, which is actually somewhat canonical, since they were shown to dislike Naruto in the series.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Naruto should end up with a small harem that is composed of Uchiha Satsuki, Hyuuga Hinata, and either Haruno Sakura, Yamanaka Ino, or Hakuman no Tayuya.
- Satsuki’s father should have been so obsessed with siring male progeny that his youngest child was left “confused” about her actual gender until the day she first activates her Sharingan.
- Kakashi should direct Satsuki towards Mitarashi Anko on the day that the Chunin Exam Hopefuls seek out instructors for their private training so he can be the one to train Naruto.
- Kakashi should also know how to perform the Rasengan, since he was the student of Naruto’s father, even if he has never been a master of the technique.
Optional Inclusions:
- If Satsuki does leave the village, then it could be so she can learn how to control her Curse Mark instead of having it be about seeking vengeance against her brother.
- The Elemental Nations could be a fair bit more advanced, technologically, than was portrayed in the series, it’s just that they use things like messenger falcons for covert communication.
Forbidden Things:
- Naruto and Kakashi being romantically interested in men.

Complications
- Enemies: Although it hasn't become relevant yet, the fact is that the Akatsuki are trying to capture all of the Jinchuriki in the world so that they can harvest their Bijuu and use them for an as of yet unspecified villainous plot.
- Honor: Naruto will always keep his word once he has given it to someone, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Recognition: Naruto desperately wants to be acknowledged as someone who is worthy of the honor and distinction that comes with being named the Hokage (leader) of Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the Leaves.
- Mythic Weakness: The act of forcibly removing the Kyuubi no Kitsune is something which will almost certainly kill Naruto, though his enhanced vitality as an Uzumaki may allow him a chance at survival.
- Relationship: Naruto is both the jailer for the demonic entity known as the Kyuubi no Kitsune and the object of affection for two young ladies, one of whom is his teammate, Uchiha Satsuki, and the other of whom is the Hyuuga Heiress, Hinata.
- Responsibility: Naruto is a member of Team Seven, or as it is otherwise known, Team Kakashi; this means he has a responsibility to defend his teammates and aid them in completing their currently assigned mission, even when he thinks that there are better uses of his time.
- Temper: Naruto will relentlessly attack whatever enemy he was fighting when he enters his Blazing Rage form, and continue to do so until that foe has been slain, or he is rendered unconscious. If another character tries to stop him, then he will treat that character as yet another enemy to be slain. Can You Hear Me Now?
Premise: What would happen if a time-displaced Uzumaki Naruto appeared mere moments before his father used the Shuki-Fuujin to turn his younger counterpart into the Kyuubi Jinchuriki? How would things change if Naruto stepped in and saved his mother’s life right at the last second? And what will Naruto do when he realizes that his young counterpart is actually a girl?
Required Inclusions:
- Uzumaki Kushina must survive the battle in which her newborn daughter, Uzumaki Shio, becomes the newest Jinchuriki for the Kyuubi no Kitsune.
- Naruto’s jaunt through time must temporarily suppress his Jinchuriki and Rikudo Sennin forms, even though he can still access the normal version of Sage Mode.
- Naruto must succeed in forming an alliance with Otsutsuki Kaguya, though it will be up to the author whether this is the Kaguya from his original timeline, or the local equivalent.
- Naruto must identify himself by claiming to be an orphan who was educated as a Shinobi by someone from Konohagakure that passed away a few years prior to his arrival in the village.
- Naruto must save the life of Uchiha Mikoto, even while being too late to save anyone else in the Uchiha Compound, which will cause her to become infatuated with the blonde.
- Kushina must retain enough of the Kyuubi’s chakra to activate the Version One Jinchuriki Transformation, even if she will never be able to progress beyond that point.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Naruto should find a way to convert the local Kaguya to his way of thinking instead of bringing the one from his original timeline along with him for the journey through time.
- Naruto should end up with several women vying for his affections, at least one of which should be the local version of Uzumaki Kushina.
- Naruto should unleash his ‘Uzumaki Naruto Nisen Rendan’ technique on the Kyuubi’s claw while he goes through the process of saving Kushina’s life.
Optional Inclusions:
- Alternatively, the Kaguya from Naruto’s time could follow him into the past because she liked what he did to her so much that she wanted repeat performances.
- Following on from the previous idea, future Kaguya could merge with her local counterpart.
Forbidden Things:
- The older Naruto’s Kurama being absorbed by the local equivalent.
- Naruto being romantically interested in men.
- Naruto the Malevolent Emo Doormat.
