Re: The World In The Aftermath (Formerly A World Less Magical)

Three villains who are moms, a number of moms who abandon their kids for "good" reasons ... yes, I think I might just possibly have mommy issues. Anyway, next week, some extradimensional and extraterrestrial types. We all have our influences, whatever they may be! I appreciate the varied ...

Re: The Phoenixverse (A 2e OC 'verse; Newest: Heroes of Britain Complete! Borealian Vanguard Coming Soon!)

I'm happy to wait a bit longer, especially if there's a complete picture to be seen when all of them are posted. But I wouldn't say "no" to meeting any of them earlier either!

Re: Ember Point (Latest Update - Bolt, the Electric Swordsman)

Bolt, the Electric Swordsman [Joseph "Joe" Zhi] A Brief Intro to Vondrák Electromatics (VE) In the late 1800s, the eccentric Czech scientist Aurelia Vondrák made her way to the United States from her homelands in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Her numerous adventures need no elaboration her...

Re: The World In The Aftermath (Formerly A World Less Magical)

I really dig Sid Viscous (clone or not)! First off, incredible pun in the name. And secondly, I'm a big fan of "joke" characters / archetypes getting a chance to go "let's get dangerous." They don't have to become extra malicious or evil (I'm looking at you, Doctor Light in Ident...

...once again, like Asmodeus Psychovore, I think "Dullahan Scion" could make a great character name all on its own! Though probably not for the character you have in mind.

Re: The World In The Aftermath (Formerly A World Less Magical)

I enjoyed reading Carmilla for the first time over the 2021 holiday season. And I appreciate that she's fundamentally a serial killer (I've had an argument with a friend about this as it applies to the character in the novel), albeit one with enough control and intellect to follow an agenda and mayb...

Re: Ember Point (Latest Update - The Troubadour)

And that, with Bob Dylan Batman, concludes the founding members of the Battalion. Next up, is a bridge between this whole project and the actual city of Ember Point: Bolt, the Electric Swordsman, hero of Ember Point turned Battalion member.

Re: Ember Point (Latest Update - The Troubadour)

Bonus Content #2: The Top Ten Troubadour Songs (2022 survey) #10 - “I’ve Seen the World (And Let Me Tell You…)” - An early song, and his first hit. Curtis wrote this when he was young and would be embarrassed by how cocky and worldly his younger self thought he was. Still a perennial favorite #9 - ...

Re: Ember Point (Latest Update - The Troubadour)

The Troubadour [Eduardo Curtis] A (Mis)spent Youth Being a superhero was never the most important thing in the Troubadour ’s life. Indeed, to many it was hardly the most interesting thing in his long resumé. After all, by the time Eduardo Curtis headlined his first show at the age of 25, he had alr...

Re: [OOC] NPC Investigations-Tales From The Junior Associates (Case 1-Nora de Santos)

Asking Mira about where Nora might be first, but if we have time, would also plan to follow up on the interest in metahumans, and the art / music / creatures that Nora was into, according to her parents. Anything else, Miracle? / feel free to follow up as appropriate.

Cecil Mortlake HP: 2 ( Bronx Leadership Academy ) "Ms. Diaz, thank you for your time. Quickly, can you walk us through the last time you saw Nora? Did she give any indication where she might be planning to go? Or, perhaps, where she might go if something--" Cecil paused, looking for a wor...

Re: The Phoenixverse (A 2e OC 'verse; Newest: Heroes of Britain! Umbrella Queen! Nisse! Tattoo! Big Ben! Keaira! Paragon

Paragon (Syed Nawaz) I really like Syed. Yes, a lone wolf detective. But also someone who really turned his life around. Shows what can happen when a hero doesn't just kill all the enemies they fight - some can become heroes. And I like the idea of this rakish detective in the UK, with Nawaz being ...

Re: [OOC] NPC Investigations-Tales From The Junior Associates (Case 1-Nora de Santos)

Alright - I'll admit after thinking for a day, I'm not actually sure what a good approach is for two adults to speak to a child in school, unless we have the de Santos's call the school and Mirabel's parents or something, and get permission. Any ideas?
