Constructs and the Awareness attribute
Hello, My friend is playing a construct that is a mere AI robot shell. It operates independently but can be destroyed via limited Immortality representing the company having more than one copy, though only one at a time. When building the AI, Hero Lab had an option to select the construct which put ...

Awesome.
Thanks so much FuzzyBoots and Woodclaw for the responses.
That is what we were thinking, but it is nice to have it corroborated.

How far does a sense that is made to be Ranged reach?
Hello, I have a 3rd Edition character who made their sense of Touch to be Ranged in the Senses Powers. Touch and Taste were specifically called out in the Ranged part of senses as they are not normally ranged, so that power can make them available for use at range. I did this to provide a power sens...

Re: List of what is considered Uncommon or Common Descriptors?
Thanks Shock, I suppose you are correct in leaning on the GM. Our system is an mix of nearly every major comic book publisher so we could encounter anyone. That's what I was thinking. In that way I was trying to figure out what was more common than not if everything was possible. I appreciate the fe...

List of what is considered Uncommon or Common Descriptors?
Hello, I noticed in the Immunity Power for 3rd Edition that taking an immunity for an uncommon descriptor like chemical or gravitic is only 2 power points. This was neat, but I realized that there are so many different descriptors listed and available for powers, especially in the Hero Lab character...

Thanks so much EternalPhoenix.
I have reworked it now as you suggested and I think it makes more sense now.
Much appreciated.

Re: Questions on Telekinesis build via Move Object
Sorry Woodclaw, I forgot to mention that I am playing 3E. Thanks so much for the feedback EternalPhoenix. I suppose it may make more sense to build the main power as a Burst Area to sort of blanket an area with the move object ability to represent grabbing multiple large objects at once. Then make t...

Questions on Telekinesis build via Move Object
I have a current character whose primary focus is strong Telekinesis via the Move Object Power. We are playing relatively high PL 11 campaign The main parts of my power are below: Move Object 11 Damaging DC 26 Multi-attack Burst Area 30 ft. radius with lots of extended range DC 21 In imagining this ...

Re: Is there a way to improve telekinetic grabbing?
Thanks again FuzzyBoots,
I looked into Agile feint and startle, based on your advice about feinting, but my character really isn't that type.
It isn't too bad though, so no worries. Also, I definitely don't want something that is overpowered.
Have a good one.

Is there a way to improve telekinetic grabbing?
Hello, I have made a telekinetic character centered around Move Object. Our group is playing PL11 and I have created a Move Object 11 power. When I grab, after a successful attack check, the enemy gets a resistance check using either strength or dodge. This means my effect is DC21. I am having a lot...

Hex Game Mat Options
Hi All, My gaming group prefers M&M on a hex grid instead of a square grid. We are playing on the standard light brown hex mat that allows wet erase markers and it works just fine. However to liven it up, I have been looking for other hex based mats of different colors and such and have struggle...

Re: Real or House Rule to determine Force from the Mass Rank
Right as usual Davies. :) Thanks for the suggestion, Shock. I hadn't considered that. That is interesting because 700 mph is speed rank 9 using the Speed = distance - time formula. 9 speed + 14 mass = 23. That works because even with a move object rank 22, it was going to be tough to stop, but I had...

Real or House Rule to determine Force from the Mass Rank
I may be overthinking it, but I wondered if there were some official or simplified house rules for determining the amount of force that can be generated with strength based powers. I have a character with a Move Object power with an increased mass of 22. This means the normal upper limit my characte...
