Re: Query: How to determine Villain PL?
A key supposition is that an NPC of a given PL is essentially just as strong as a PC of that PL. However, this assumption is often suspect in M&M because PL isn't a great predictor of raw combat ability. The basis for the specific numbers here is the assumption that combat power roughly doubles ...

Query: How to determine Villain PL?
Is there a an easy to read or conversion method to determine what PL my villain set-up should be in a challenging combat? I have 7 players who are starting at on average PL10. Many are new or like me very rusty with the MM system. I want to start them out against a bunch of very skilled standard hum...

The Snap: Birth of the Marvel Mutant Nation
I'm preparing a home game based one year after The Snap, the time period also called the Blip. Snap sounds cooler. The destructive effects of the Snap began to be apparent moments after Thanos activated the Infinity Gauntlet, with half of all life in the universe randomly disintegrating into dust. A...

Re: Master Plan for 3E

Re: Favorite Comic book character, when you were young vs adulthood.
As a kid in the 70's I loved FF, JLA, Avengers, later the TT and X-Men but favorite character was Captain America. As an adult .... Steve Rogers. I was drawn to it unconsciously as a kid, but I grew to understand, Diana Prince was more interesting than WW, Hal Jordon more than GL, Ben Grimm more tha...

Re: Absence
EE, I use to be a big box manager so I feel you about the holidays life and putting RP on the back burner. I always feel this time of year most of us are going to have a lot of hit and miss. I for one will be happy if we can start again at start of the year after the crazy train has runs its course....

Re: On the road (D&D 5E IC)
Kaine, one time an Investigator for his own corrupt city guard divested the pirate he subdued on the roof of anything that might be considered evidence, anything of worth mysteriously finding it's way into his coin pouch. Leaving the weapons on the roof, Kaine would quickly follow descending to the...

Re: On the road (D&D 5E IC)
Kaine was slowly lowering the pirate from the roof on a rope bound around his ankles. His smile at the quickness the others had captured or taken down the other sea dogs with. A smile quickly fading as the guard approached. The lovely guard and her Watchmaster at the gate aside, he was unsure of th...

With the pirate on the roof stripped of gear and secured Kaine will pursue as quickly as you deem possible.
