Mustang could always use a temporary tag partner for the Shatter Machine thorp.I know you've seen it,as you too are a wrestling fan.... :D
It's not whether he's seen it, but whether Slyce has seen it and has the physical fundamentals to pull it off.
All it is is a combination of a Flapjack(tossing the guy up&over your shoulder using the leg) and Codebreaker(double-knees to the jaw).Slyce could knows what a Codebreaker is right? ;)

I thought.
Let's double check chart.
DEGREES OF SUCCESS AND FAILURE
CHECK RESULT EQUAL OR GREATER THAN
DEGREE
EQUAL OR GREATER THAN ...
(DC 20)
DC+15 Four (Success) 35
DC+10 Three (Success) 30
DC+5 Two (Success) 25
DC One (Success) 20
DC–5 One (Failure) 15
DC–10 Two (Failure) 10
DC–15 Three (Failure) 5
DC–20 Four (Failure) 0
Ah, I see.

Your result minus the DC.
if -1 to -5, One degree failure.
-6 to -10, two degrees.
-11 to -15, Three degrees.
-16 to -20, Four degrees.
etc...

it seems to me.

Fail by 11 = 3 degrees, isn't it?
For an Affliction, I thought it was DC -15 that was 3 degrees. That's why it's often decried as less good than combat. That's what the chart in the main rulebook indicates, unless I've misread it.
The DCs for degrees of success or failure are immutable. Why affliction is less good for combat is the DC is 10+Rank rather than 15+Rank as it is for Damage (and only damage really. 10+Rank is really more the standard for everything that gives a save besides Damage)

So Hercule saw Semilla's fingers brush the top of Halberd's head and the man collapse in a screaming heap, clutching his abdomen. If Semilla had known the health-conscious polearmsman had adopted a raw vegan diet she would not have used such a devastating attack.

Oh, my bad. It ENDS with 10, not begins with it. Yeah, so he's incapacitated then.

Also, if it hits will he still get the benefits of his recovery, as the recovery takes a full turn?
I don't quite understand the question. Herc didn't use a recovery action. Attacking wouldn't prevent his regen from working or dazed from expiring as neither takes an action.

Flail's action on Init: 22 was to take a Recover action. The Recover action takes a full turn.
You take your entire turn to try and catch your breath and
bounce back a bit. When you recover, you can remove
your highest level of damage or fatigue. Alternately, rath-
er than removing a level of damage or fatigue, you can
choose to make a resistance check against an ongoing ef-
fect, in addition to the normal resistance check at the end
of your turn.

You can only recover once per conflict. Once you have
done so, you must recover from any remaining damage,
fatigue, or effects normally (or with outside assistance).

When you recover, you gain +2 circumstance bonus to
your active defenses until the start of your next turn.
Since it takes a full turn, and Flail (I'm pretty sure) was hit before a full turn had passed, I am wondering if Flail will actually get the benefit of the Recover action? Since Flail was Staggered, if he were to be Staggered by this attack, before the full turn of Recover is complete, would it count as his second Staggering? If he is Dazed or Bruised by an attack coming mid-Recover action, would he actually be able to complete the Recover action.

The Recovery Action is "You take your entire turn", not "you take a full turn", so Flail would get the benefit of his Recovery and thus be no longer Staggered. Though hitting him with DC 25 will probably take care of THAT anyways :).

I posted a little ahead of myself. Gonna wait for Lasso's action (or lack thereof is Silver knocks him out) before I post it back up.

Went kind of all out in this turn, so hopefully it works out. If it works out the way I'd like, should kinda look like Galactica was toying with Spear and Fist mainly before getting really serious and going for the pinfall in a sudden explosive motion.

Whoops. If Silver Witch drops Lasso, Doctor Mercury will smack Flail instead. Still staggered, still hopefully a soft target.

Oh, crap. Sorry, Psistrike! After PMing you about your turn coming up, too :)! Not sure how I missed that.

I think next time we'll have to split the party so I don't make so many errors in the Mass Combat- I was thinking it'd be a fun way to do things, but it's a bit hard to keep track of everybody :).

I'm just all kinds of Curious now as to what submission hold Galactica would perfer using,as there's alot of holds out there.Given her Strength is close to Mustang's,i'm thinking she's more of a Texas Cloverleaf person since she went for the legs first.Todd himself perfers a Walls of Jericho approach...:D

Given that she is employing chokehold, it's more of a Sleeper Hold. Not as fancy, sure, but the idea is to subdue the guy.

Otherwise, with a prone opponent, I could see her doing something more akin to a single-leg version of Walls of Jericho, locking the leg with one arm, potentially dragging the guy around a bit as she can still fight other opponents in that position.

Also, I made this chart, so I can quit screwing it up:

DAMAGE:
Fail By:
0 (pass)
1 (Bruised)
2 (Bruised)
3 (Bruised)
4 (Bruised)
5 (Dazed)
6 (Dazed)
7 (Dazed)
8 (Dazed)
9 (Dazed)
10 (Staggered)
11 (Staggered)
12 (Staggered)
13 (Staggered)
14 (Staggered)
15 (Staggered)
16+ (Incapacitated)

AFFLICTION:
Fail By:
0 (pass)
1 (First Stage)
2 (First Stage)
3 (First Stage)
4 (First Stage)
5 (Second Stage)
6 (Second Stage)
7 (Second Stage)
8 (Second Stage)
9 (Second Stage)
10 (Third Stage)
11 (Third Stage)
12 (Third Stage)
13 (Third Stage)
14 (Third Stage)
15+ (Third Stage)

I missed the "Equal to or less than" in the Rulebook, which is why I kept assuming it was different.
