Forgot a step... for it to work here, you have to take out the " around the URL links.

Yeah, that's going to take some work with a Find-Replace function.

THE SUPERIOR THORPACOVERSE:

The Superior Thorpaccoverse Intro

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EARTH-5150 SETTING

Note: Only characters that I have updated for the Superior Thorpacoverse setting are listed in the different locales and teams. Updates are constantly in progress. I mean, like ALL the time. It's a sickness...

General Info:

Brief Superhuman History of Earth-5150

Cities/Locations:

Asgard
Atlantis
Chicago
Gotham City
Los Angeles
Metropolis
New York

Settings:

The Cosmic Thorpacoverse
The Mystical/Mythical Thorpacoverse
The X-Verse
The Wilson Family

The Teams:

The Avengers
The Justice League
Stormwatch/Guardians of the Globe
The Birds of Prey
The Outsiders

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power Levels for Earth-5150:

I'm looking at this for an overall scale, which will require some adjustments to current builds.

0-2: Normal humans. Most would be PL0-1, PL2 would be reserved for someone at the top of their field, like a big name attorney or doctor. (Examples: Doctors, kids, bystanders, reporters, etc. )

3-4: High Level normal humans, lower level trained combatants. Run of the mill minions and combatants with some level of training fall into this area. (Examples: thugs, cops, ninjas, rookie soldiers, AIM goons, doctors, STAR Labs techs, Government Agents, world class surgeons/scientists/doctors/businessmen, etc.)

5-6: - High level minions, best in the world normal humans, athletes, very young heroes and some action movie types. Your standard soldier types, profession athletes and best of the best professionals fall into this category, as well as rookie teen hero types. Some “super cop” types can fall into this range as well. (ex: experienced soldiers, SWAT, ninja/thug team leaders, top level human surgeon/cop/scientist, champion boxers/MMA fighters, Stephanie Brown as a rookie Spoiler, Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, etc.)

7-8 - Young heroes/villains, Peak human NPCs and minions, jobber heroes and villains. This range is for full PL7's (hitting caps on both offense and defense) or a PL8 who hits caps on either offense or defense. These characters are far beyond what a normal human could hope to handle, and can take out large groups of cops, thugs, a handful of soldiers or mythical creatures. However, they would lose to an experienced hero the greater majority of the time, without some serious luck. Villains in this range are fodder for experienced heroes, but can be counted on to slow them down for a bit. (ex: Stephanie Brown as Robin, The Enforcers, best in the world mercs, Foot/Hand/League of Assassins Elites, John McClane, G.I. Joes, Casey Jones, Boomslang)

8-9 - More experienced younger heroes, street level heroes/villains, low-level powerhouses and blasters, world class superhero/supervillain martial artists. PL 8-9 range is for characters that are either a full PL8 or hit PL9 caps for either offense or defense. These characters may be quite powerful (+10/+11 if not higher with one or more attacks), but lack accuracy or vice versa. They can hang with an experienced Thorpacoverse hero or villain and come out with the win, but are not going to challenge the Batmans, Deathstrokes, or Caps of the world. Many “starting PC” characters in my setting are in this area. (Ex: Shocker, Batgirl (Babs), Dynamo 5, several Acolytes, more experienced Xavier Academy students, several Gotham villains, TMNT)

9-10 - Experienced hero/villain, very powerful inexperienced hero/villain, borderline elite. These characters are what you would consider an “average” hero/villain in my setting, pretty close to DCA/Emerald City level for “starting PCs”. You really know what you are doing from years of experience or you are gifted with great power if you hit your full PL9-PL10 caps. They are baseline JLA, Avengers, Guardians of the Globe level (although some of the characters from the big name teams are a little lower), and can give Elite characters a good fight, if usually falling in the end. The majority of heroes and villains in my setting will fall in this range. (Ex: Green Arrow, Diamondhead, Nightwing, Daredevil, Electro, Doc Ock, Joker, Bulletproof/Invincible, Human Torch, Invisible Girl, Superboy, Red Robin, Black Widow, Black Canary, Catwoman, Elektra, rookie Lantern Corps members, experienced X-Men)

11 - Elite. If you are a full PL11 or hit one of your PL11 caps, you are really dangerous here. You are one of the best in the world at hand-to-hand, can rumble with Hulks and Kryptonians, or can lay waste to a team of lesser and experienced heroes. There’s lots of heroes and villains in this range as well, second only to the PL10-ish range. (Ex: Spider-Man, Experienced Corpsmen)

11-12 - Meta-Elite. You are getting into pretty serious bad-assery here. Full PL12s or hitting a PL12 cap makes you a JLA/Avengers team level threat (if one of the big guns is missing) and you can give a World Protector/Threat a run for their money. If you are a powerhouse, you can take out an army base on your own and if you are a skill monkey type, even Batman will have to work really, really hard to take you out. (Ex: Batman, Captain America, Deathstroke, Ronan the Accuser, Apollo, Midnighter, Lady Shiva, Invincible, Hercules,)

13 - World Protector/Threat. Around this level, you are known throughout the world (or many worlds) as a bad ass of the highest order. And you can handle an entire team of experienced/elite heroes or villains and come out on top. (Ex: Hal Jordan, Sinestro, Shazam, Rulk, Doctor Fate, Omni-Man,)

14 - World Protector/Threat Elite. This is where other heroes and villains crap their pants or plan like there's no tomorrow when you show up. Very few of Earth's heroes are at this level on both offense and defense (some heroes are the same or higher because of one attribute or power, like a Professor X for example) although of course, there are several cosmic heroes/NPCs that are in this range or higher and obviously there will be a number of villains/NPCs that will be at this level or higher for challenge purposes. (Ex: Superman, Thor, Hulk, Magneto, Wonder Woman, several Heralds)

15-16 - Borderline Cosmic. If you are PL15-16 in the Thorpacoverse, you are JLA Omega Level threat type of character. There are no Earth heroes of your level so even Thor or Superman, heck even Squirrel Girl, might have to call for help to take you out. (Ex: Zeus, Odin, Darkseid, Destroyer, Kraken, Balor, Hades, Poseidon, Typhon, Guardians of the Universe, Thanos, Annihilus)

16+ - Cosmic. Rally all the troops, pull out the plot devices, it's about to the hit the fan. It should be noted that every character, even God/Yahweh/Jehovah/The Presence, has a PL in this Thorpacoverse. There is no PLX in my setting. If you’re on this plane, you have limits and you can be killed, if only for a round…(Ex: Galactus, Trigon, Spectre, Nekron, Anti-Monitor)

There we go. That should be more or less everything. There will need to be some work done to convert to this forum's format, but now the code is actually available to be worked on.

EDIT: Let me know when you've got all this copied, so I can edit it away.

Thank you, sir! I'm hoping to get it done this weekend, but it's Christmas decorating weekend at Thorpe's Deep, so it may be more like mid-next week. Appreciate the help.

Word.

Both the affirmative and the application. :geek:

The hard part is going through and picking the ones I haven't redone on Ronin Army in DC and Marvel. Most of the others I hadn't gotten to, but that will take some time. I'm setting a goal of the end of 2017 to have reworked everything I've already done in my latest format and into this thread. I think once I get everything combined, I'll be at over 1400 builds in 3E but I have about 700 that I've updated from early 2015 to now so it might happen. That's over 50 a month to update, but if I knuckle down, quit spending time with my family and stop doing that "work" thing, I think I can do it. ;)

It is finished. I've imported all the links and organized (mostly). I think I still have a few odds and ends that I've missed between my divergent threads but I think everything is on the main page now so you can edit out those posts. Thanks BriarThrone and Bladewind!

Reputation: Manipulative bitch and career criminal.
Rivalry: Captain Marvel Carol Danvers.

Abilities 86 + Skills 28 (56 ranks) + Advantages 8 + Powers 58 + Defenses 17 = 197 / 197

Build Comments: Gotta love Moonstone. One of the best manipulators in comics, she has been shown to really want to change but she can’t let herself, at least not all the way. In the Thorpocaverse, she’s not even trying to change, she is being her bad girl self, working with Luthor’s Injustice League among other villains and doing her thing. Which mainly includes being Captain Marvel's arch enemy and trying to manipulate every male hero she can along the way.

Secret Origins: Karla Sofen grew up the daughter of a maid to a privileged family. She was forced to be a "playmate" to Deanna Stockbridge, the family's daughter who was her age. Deanna saw Karla as a true friend, but Karla chaffed at being so close to wealth but being unable to call it her own. Still, she developed a talent for manipulating the naïve Deanna for her own amusement. Karla graduated college thanks to her mother working multiple jobs to support her education, and promised she would never be in the same situation herself.

After becoming a psychologist, Karla enjoyed manipulating her patients for her own ends. Since she couldn't afford for her jealous housewife patient to be "cured" of her paranoia just yet, Karla called the house pretending to be a lover of her patient's husband in order to keep her coming back for more sessions. Karla trained under the tutelage of the criminal Doctor Faustus. She even assisted Doctor Faustus in his grandiose attempt to take control of Manhattan Island. Faustus' plans never came to fruition however, due to the efforts of Captain America. As Cap rounded up Faustus' men, Sofen hid herself inside the baggage compartment of the doctor’s private 747, thus evading capture.

The Story so Far: She later used her psychiatric credentials to gain access to the prison cell of Lloyd Bloch – the original Moonstone. Using hypnosis, she convinced Bloch that he was in fact a hideous, loathsome monster. The psychological trauma was so severe that it caused his body to reject the moonstone within him. Energized by the emotional rush, Karla was able to absorb the essence of the moonstone through a sheer act of will. The intensity of the transfer was so great that it even granted Karla the ability to absorb Bloch's Moonstone armor into her own bodily tissue. With Bloch now powerless, Karla Sofen became the new Moonstone.

Over the years, she has been both a supervillain and an anti-hero. She was a member of the Masters of Evil, Thunderbolts and the Dark Avengers, and in the latter group she temporally replaced Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel.

Characterization: In addition to the powers she wields by virtue of her bond with the gravity stone, Karla Sofen has extensive knowledge of psychology and psychiatry, and has an M.D., specializing in psychiatry. She often uses this expertise to manipulate those around her for personal gain. However, she has often shown that she is not as skilled as she would like to believe, resulting in her being outmanipulated by more experienced manipulators.

COMPLICATIONS:
Obsession: Only extreme heat can sustain her, and Firestorm's particular heat is perfect for her.
Weakness: Caitlin needs to absorb heat to not only fuel her powers, to sustain herself. Without it, she can become impaired, disabled and eventually die

Abilities 44 + Skills 13 (26 ranks) + Advantages 1 + Powers 58 + Defenses 22 = 138 / 138

Build Comments: I always liked ice themed heroes and villains and Killer Frost is one of my faves. In the comics she was OK, but in JLU, she rocked. I think it was the punk/goth makeover that did it for me. I wanted a younger Killer Frost, more focused on power so I am doing a JLU/New 52 hybrid type of thing.

Secret Origins: As the one of the youngest and brightest scientists S.T.A.R. has ever recruited, Caitlin Snow began working with other scientists at S.T.A.R. labs outpost #72: The Thermodynamics Division. She was greeted and welcomed by the staff, but behind closed doors they wanted her gone. She took the place of another scientist, Dr. Louise Lincoln, and began studying her work on creating a self-sustaining thermodynamic engine which can create a perpetual motion of solar energy which would change the world’s idea of conducting energy.

On the verge of finishing the machine, her fellow scientists locked her in the chamber. They wanted the engine to explode with her in it, but things didn't go according to plan. The ultra conductor started feeding back into itself, and a bright light flashed before their eyes. Caitlin had rearranged the super-coolant wiring right before they turned the machine on, and it overloaded allowing the chamber to be flooded with cold air. The combination changed her completely.

The Story so Far: She emerged from the giant block of ice, grabbing the person nearest to her and draining him of his life. She felt so empty, that his warmth fed her, and thats when she knew she needed warmth to feel alive. One by one each of the scientists fell prey to her cold hands. From then on her life was never the same.

Three years later, her intellect allowed her to design a suit that could retain the heat she took from others yet she still needed to take the life of another. The one day she had her first fight with Firestorm, and she knew that his power was the only power that could make her normal again.

Characterization: Killer Frost has a heart as cold as her powers.

Friends and Foes: She remains a foe of Firestorm.
