Star Trek vs. Transformers

Post by Darrin Kelley »

This is the crossover comic limited series nobody would have believed would work. But it does. And it is glorious!

Generation One Transformers colliding with Star Trek: The Animated Series. It is as crazy as one would think it would be. And more!

More comics these days need to be this kind of fun!

Haha, my #1 thought was "They're going to turn the Enterprise into a Fortress Transformer, aren't they?" and THEN THEY DID.

My one regret with this? That Nimoy didn't live long enough to voice act this as an animated movie.

We all know Shatner would do it in a heartbeat.

Fortress Tiberius is such a great name for the Enterprise's robot mode. Fits the established naming conventions so well, and of course the T in James T. as well !

I got issue #5 a few days ago. Which is the conclusion of the limited series. It was just as glorious as the rest of the series!

And it of course sets up the possibility for a sequel. Which would be more than welcome to me.

Not a bad series, all in all. The scene where the Klingons start shooting Starscream with hand phasers ("No, we'd rather not hail you as our new Emperor, thanks.") is rather badass.
